immortal technique is amomgst many things, aggressive, tactical, and controvertial. He made on really cold song in the form of Dance with the devil, damn thats true justice. [Verse 2] So Billy started robbing niggas, anything he could do To get his respect back, in the eyes of his crew Starting fights over little shit, up on the block Stepped up to selling mothers and brothers the crack rock Working overtime for making money for the crack spot Hit the jackpot and wanted to move up to cocaine fulfilling the scarface fantasy stuck in his brain Tired of the block niggas treating him the same He wanted to be major like the cut throats and the thugs But when he tried to step to 'em, niggas showed him no love They told him any motherfucking coward can sell drugs Any bitch nigga with a gun, can bust slugs Any nigga with a red shirt can front like a blood Even Puffy smoked a motherfucker up in a club But only a real thug can stab someone till they die Standing in front of them, staring straight into their eyes Billy realized that these men were well guarded And they wanted to test him, before business started Suggested raping a bitch to prove he was cold hearted So now he had a choice between going back to his life Or making money with made men, up in the cife His dreams about cars and ice, made him agree A hardcore nigga is all he ever wanted to be And so he met them Friday night at a quarter to three |

The roots is known for a couple of things, one is having an exceptional rapper in Black Thought, a good drummer in questlove and d assumption they are underground, but how many underground banda are signed to sony? That aside The Roots give a tactfull song in th form of dont say nothing by including what may or may not be a crop of mumbled words (an arguement btw i and my bro) in the chorus. Yeah ! i find slick rick very interesting esp when you consider the fact that non other than snopp dogg has ever being able to pull out the slick one's style mc ricky d does a crazy layed back flow ish on the unforgettable track la di da di, well dis one has no division so its just a single verse. La-di-da-di, we like to party We don't cause trouble, we don't bother nobody We're, just some men that's on the mic And when we rock upon the mic we rock the mic right For all of y'all, keep y'all in health Just to see you smile and enjoy yourself Cause it's cool when you cause a cozy conditioning Which we create, cause that's our mission So listen close, to what we say Because this type of shit happens everyday I woke up around ten o'clock in the morning I gave myself a stretch up, a morning yawn and Went to the bathroom to wash up Put some soap on my face and my hand upon a cup, said Mirror mirror on the wall Who is the top choice of them all There was a rumble tumble, five minutes it lasted The mirror said, "you are you conceited bastard!" Well that true, that why we never had no beef Then I washed off the soap and brushed the gold teeth Used oil of olay cause my skin gets pail And then I grabbed the file for my finger nails I'm true to the style on my behalf I put the bubbles in the tub so I could take a bubble bath Clean, dry, was my, body and hair I threw on my brand new gucci underwear For all the girls I might take home I got the johnson's baby powder and the polo cologne Fresh dress, like a million bucks, Put on the bally shoes and the fly green socks. Stepped out the house stopped short, oh no Went back in I forgot my kangol Then I dilly, dally, I ran through the alley I bumped into this homegirl named sally from the valley This was a girl playing hard to get So I said "what's wrong? " cause she looked upset She said uh, "it's all because of you I'm feeling sad and blue You went away And now my life is filled with rainy days I love you so How much you'll never know Cause you took your love away from me" Now what was I to do She was crying over me and she was feeling blue I said, "don't cry, dry, your eyes Here comes your mother with those two little guys" Her mean mother steps and says to me "hi!" Hit sally in the face and punched her in the eye Kicked her in the belly, and stepped on her feet Slammed the child on the hard concrete The bitch was strong, the kids was gone Something was wrong I said what was going on? I tried to break it up I said, stop it, leave her She said, "if I can't have you she can't either" She grabbed me closely by my socks So I broke the hell out like I had the chicken pox But uh, she gave chase, she caught up quick She put a finger in the face of mc rick, and said "why don't you give me some play? And we can go cruising in my (oj) And if you give me that ok I'll give you all my love today Ricky ricky ricky, can't you see Somehow your words just hypnotize me And I just love your jazzy ways So mc rick my love is here to stay" And on and on and on she kept on The bitch been around before my mother's born I said, "cheer up!" I gave her a kiss I said, "you can't have me I'm too young for you miss" She said, "no you're not," then she starts crying I says, "i'm nineteen", she says, "stop lying!" I said, "i am -- go ask my mother And with your wrinkled p***y, I can't be your lover!" To the heart tick tock you don't stop To the heart tick tock you don't quit, hit it! |

now we all have heard of the KRS ONE (knowledge reighs spreme over nearly every body) he does something amazing on a track appropriatly named The Raptism My intellectual battle will make your brains rattle I'll unwrap you and your crew from the same shackle I'm on many different planes like ' airport Psychologically you be rethinkin your identity and cuttin ya hair short Now there's a thought, that exposes your insecurity You put no fear in me, I break the M from the C And reverse it to say "See 'em? See 'em They allow the devil to lead 'em, and they be givin up they freedom So, huh, gather round for the raptism When the spirit hear it the lyric long before the track get 'em I spit 'em out, gotta get 'em out, the world I never been about I see them glitter but their spirit's goin in and out We see them fading, we also see them hating We also see those living for musical chart ratings Hear what I'm stating or trading for what you're paying Replace fear with faith and you'll stop decaying |

mosdef aka yasiin bey a half of d supposed now defunct blackstar amazed me with the second verse of theives at night [Mos Def] Yo, I'm sure that everbody out listenin agree That everything you see ain't really how it be A lot of jokers out runnin in place, chasin the style Be a lot goin on beneath the empty smile Most cats in my area be lovin the hysteria Synthesized surface conceals the interior America, land of opportunity, mirages and camoflauges More than usually -- speakin loudly, sayin nothin You confusin me, you losin me Your game is twisted, want me enlisted -- in your usary Foolishly, most men join the ranks cluelessly Buffoonishly accept the deception, believe the perception Reflection rarely seen across the surface of the lookin glass Walkin the street, wonderin who they be lookin past Lookin gassed with them imported designer shades on Stars shine bright, but the light -- rarely stays on Same song, just remixed, different arrangement Put you on a yacht but they won't call it a slaveship Strangeness, you don't control this, you barely hold this Screamin brand new, when they just sanitized the old shit Suppose it's, just another clever Jedi mind trick That they been runnin across stars through all the time with I find it's distressin, there's never no in-between We either niggaz or Kings We either bitches or Queens The deadly ritual seems immersed, in the perverse Full of short attention spans, short tempers, and short skirts Long barrel automatics released in short bursts The length of black life is treated with short worth Get yours first, them other niggaz secondary That type of illin that be fillin up the cemetary This life is temporary but the soul is eternal Separate the real from the lie, let me learn you Not strong, only aggressive, cause the power ain't directed That's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive Not free, we only licensed Not live, we just excitin Cause the captors.. own the masters.. to what we writin Not compassionate, only polite, we well trained Our sincerity's rehearsed in stage, it's just a game Not good, but well behaved cause the ca-me-ra survey most of the things that we think, do, or say We chasin after death just to call ourselves brave But everyday, next man meet with the grave I give a damn if any fam' recall my legacy I'm tryin to live life in the sight of God's memory Like that y'all |

this should not make the list but it hook is amazing, its Gza's track called Alphabets like the 1st verse though All I need is a beat with a continuous loop And a live vibe that'll hypnotize like the flute Along with somethin' that's rugged by nature like the forest Composed like the symphony without a chorus A place with the path and trail that you follow With the wood where you drive your nails, but too hollow Far from reality with a slim chance of gettin' back Even if you narrowly escape the hidden traps Nothin' but the driven raps written in my notebook Inspired by the cap and the gown that's on the coat hook Prepare for the chemical rush, somethin' new to cause Your heart to race, but it's tangible to touch Associate with those who are consumed with beats Produce fire, until they melt the room with heat You know my ink lay all over the sheets, let us gather around And form words every time they meet
the hook starts here
Allah be a born, Cee Divine, equality Father, then after that, there's the G O D He or her, I Islam, then justice King of kingdom, love, hell or right, we still exist Master, now in [Incomprehensible], power the queen Rule of rulers, self of save, the truth of the square, the saint Universe, victory, wisdom, unknown why Zig zag zig, and now we're back home |

You see, very few people have an open mind, no matter how many you meet who claim so. In trouble many would either flee or fight, now thats basic biology, or pshycology. Very few would genieuly want to know why even when they do ask why, and even alot fewer would do that which is right except those with previous trainning to rely on, and even so Antaraxia never is the case of a supposed human in the face of trouble. An open mind is next to impossible to achieve or maintain in the face of trouble. I pride myself as one with an open mind but One good question how long does it take to fall off while standing? Now how much sense does that make? Its hard to disearn the true reason for which one lived, but one lives anyway, so its hard to tell if we live for a pre-existing reason or if life was given us to define a reason. The blessed I have heard to die young, the cursed suffer a long life, some others are inbetween, hi i'm an inbetweener, this is how i survived. |

well they claim to want to take more calls dats usually their major "reason" asides Alibaba on the naija info, wazobia, and cool fm family, d rest are rude and seem to think all Nigerians are born to "fire" english. I stopped listening to cool fm when Dan left, and wazobia once naija info aired, now i'm no where near lagos so they are on their own. |

pardon me but this is not the right question to be asked, and is it just security or safety from guns and knives we are talking of here? cos naija needs food security, financial security and many more, i am hungry now, we no get light, or is it not in the dark one feels unsafe the most. dis is still not d right question, i did mention i was hungry right, i'm off to disturb my neighbour for garri. |
