Maliqcious: so Oba na Yoruba word? So how many kings for Yoruba land they use Oba Oba is word that means sovereignity All kings In yoruba land are all oba with specific title E.g Alaafim oyo oba ..,... and so. Oba in yoruba mean king but mean something that shine in bini Which one is the closest to the true meaning and who started the kingship there....oranmiyan ...a yoruba prince The story is clear enough but I study a pattern in bini hx...always want rewrite . But oranmiyan is difficult to rewrite so they have to fabricated izoduwa fallacy to safe face. |

They're probably not used to negative marking and unnecessary twisting of lexicon in the question to deliberately confuse you into failure.

Petrol pump price was #187/litre when Tinubu came in, today it sells at almost #700/litre. if paraventure it reduced to #500/litre can that be described as "greatly reduced" The answer is an emphatic No!
The real "greatly reduced" Nigerians are expecting is below #200/litre or better still take it to the price where he met it which is #187/litre

Politics › Re: PDP Wins All Seats In Taraba LG Poll by DECLAN2015(m): 8:40am On Nov 20, 2023 |
Throwback: You need to first of all celebrate this "victory for democracy", since the party you hate did not win.
Then later worry if there is rigging or faulty party primaries, that will nullify the exercise as a waste of time.
I am enjoying how Nigerian Judges are dealing with political parties that don't follow the electoral laws.
Like how APC worked for victory in Zamfara in 2019, only to lose every single elected office to PDP.
Or how APC defeated PDP in Bayelsa in 2019, only to lose the victory due to certificate anomaly of the running mate of the winning ticket.
The problem with Nigeira is that we have never been used to justice, so always assumed that anything goes.
Many parties and candidates will learn the hard way like Rotimi Amaechi became Rivers Governor without contesting election, simply because he was the rightful winner of the PDP primaries ahead of Celestine Omehia.
The law is the law, and has no regard for anyone's emotions. Nothing to add But emotional people disagree ... Them hates us crew disagree too |

Kenn55: I agree with you except on 2 issues. The west is not anti social as you portray it. Anyone who wants to be social will always find social things to do, the thing is there is time to work and time to play, we don't mix it up, it is an organized society
You are right when you say people don't have your time in the west but in Nigeria the reason why people have your time is not necessarily by choice but by design.
For instance, when you live in a flat and you don't have light on a Saturday evening with heat making your life miserable, what do you do? You will come out to receive fresh air, your neighbors experiencing the same thing will come out too before you know it you are chatting and laughing with your neighbors, getting to know them and forming some kind of bond. When you go across the street to buy something, you meet someone that lives across the street coming to the same shop and you start talking. If Nigeria is a country with 24/7 light, you have AC and cheap unlimited wifi internet and no street trading like we have here, do you think people will be coming out to chat with neighbors? The streets will be quieter as people will rather watch movies, chop kpomo etc than coming out to gossip and feel good. People will have less time for neighbors. For example, how many people do you see on the street in those beautiful estates in Lekki and Ikoyi compared to streets in Ogba,Ojota, Surulere etc?
Secondly Nigerians work hard. The only problem with Nigerians is lack of quality customer service orientation. He can work all the hard but deliver a shoddy job cos he cares less about quality but just the money. If his salary is guaranteed at the end of the month, he can leave his house by 5am and get to work by 7am and still play around without delivering any tangible output and come back by 10pm. If his pay is dependent on finishing the job, he can even work overnight without sleep but delivers a shoddy job just to collect his money. Our service level in Nigeria is too poor cos all we care about is money not necessarily that we don't work hard. All these just to demonize ya people Mental slavery is real No wonder suicide rate is higher Some would die and it ll take months to know |
