This post is not about PDP and APC problem, it is about Nigeria and Nigerians. Buharia failed Nigerians and you can not expect people to be comparing PDP and APC achievements when Nigerians are dying of starvation and act of terrorism. If Buharia and Osibanjo can not solve Nigerians problems they should step down. Nigerians are not happy, nepotism is corruption and this government is scoring high in nepotism. Many people are feeling insecure including farmers during this administration. Nothing is working, government is not empowering the youth and it is creating high crime rates. This government has created clear division between ethnic groups and religion. I can not finish the list in one month, just know that this government has failed Nigerians.

For example: If I am your second son and you used all the family savings and properties to send me to school with high hopes of success and I scored 14/100, how will you feel if I start to remind you how your first son failed you before? Your answer is Nigerians answer. Thanks.

Sometimes when I see how children pay more attention and take care of their mothers, a situation like this come to mind. Women go through hell in the hands of some men. You will be shocked such a man will still demand for sex that same day he did this. Issues like this should receive more attention from our government. Kudos to all our virtuous women. It doesn't end there, a man has to take care of them until they become whatever they will become. A suspect, Tope Adeniyi has been declared wanted by Ekiti State police command for alleged rape of his wife’s sales girl, a 17 years old girl (name withheld), in Ijero-Ekiti.

Public Relations Officer of Ekiti State Police Command, Alberto Adeyemi confirmed this development to our correspondent in Ado-Ekiti.

According to police report, the victim after spending few years as an apprentice under wife of the suspect decided to stay and continue to assist her in the shop as a sales girl.

Wife of the suspect operates a medicine store in the community.

Tope, a father of six children took to his heel and went into hiding after learning that men of the police are after him for the alleged offence he committed.

The suspect was said to have cajoled his wife’s sales girl into his room located at Agbangudu in Ijero-Ekiti on the 20th of November 2017 with the pretence of requesting her to serve him sachet water, popularly called ‘Pure Water.

Tope who was anxiously waiting like a hungry lion ready to devour her prey Immediately grabbed the victim after serving him the water. Before she knew what was happening he had successfully entered into her.

Sources said the suspect, Tope doesn’t have any tangible work doing, he lives in an apartment very close to his wife’s shop. He was said to have gotten six children from three different women.

It was gathered that when the incident happened, the wife of the suspect currently living with him was away in Lagos. She is said to be currently heavily pregnant.

The victim who narrated her ordeal said: “It was a Monday afternoon, I was in the shop when he (Tope) called me to bring in ‘Pure Water’ to his room. He has been alone throughout the weekend. I never knew he had such plan in mind.

“After given him the sachet water I was about moving out when he (Tope) suddenly grabbed me, I tried to resist but he was more powerful than I do. He pushed me to the bed and took a pillow to cover my mouth. I tried to shout so that other tenants around could come to my aid but nobody heard my voice.”

She said the victim forcefully had his way and ended up defiling her. She observed blood stains all over her panties.

When the information got to the family of the victim, they followed her immediately to the house of the suspect but he was nowhere to be found.

Few days after the incident, the wife of the suspect came back from Lagos and was informed of the atrocity alleged to have been committed by her husband. She was initially arrested by police in Ijero-Ekiti but later released due to her current condition.

An elder brother to the victim, Mr Ropo Ojo said the victim was taken to the state government hospital in Ijero-Ekiti where she was treated.

He called on the police to ensure the arrest of the suspect and make him face prosecution for the act allegedly committed.

As at the time of filling this report, the whereabouts of the said suspect is still unknown. Men of the police are intensifying efforts to ensure his arrest

This man should not escape justice and I pray he will be found as soon as possible. Please people around should help the police to locate him because he is a threat to other women, his type can not stop. Please don't hid him, he is more than dangerous to the society.

Why should Nigerian police arrest his wife at the first place, this is very bad. If you are looking for a suspect, people around him should not be detain for whatsoever reason. This is very bad, police should respect peoples' right period.

Things is, Nigerians are too close minded and backward thinking. A lot of things can constitute as rape. It’s not only when a random guy abducts you and forcefully has sex with you while you scream and fight back can be considered as rape. The basic thing that defines rape is CONSENT! Whether she was wearing only her panties in the man’s bed, even if she was twerking naked for him, as long as she said NO, then he had no right to try and perform any sexual activities on her.
And since when did agreeing to cuddle him automatically imply consent to have sex with him? He even went on to give her orals and strip her. Thing is, even if she may not have fought back, bottom line is, she didn’t want sex to happen. And he went on and did what he wanted anyway. That’s a more subtle kind of rape.
Nigerians really need reonrientation of their mindset when it comes to the issue of rape. I’m seeing a lot of bs comments like “why would she go to a guy’s house when it’s not her boyfriend” and “why would she wear only shorts in his bed and why would she sleep on the Same bed with him?” The thing is, irrespective of the circumstance surrounding the story, she didn’t give her consent and the man had sex with her against her wish. It wasn’t consensual sex thus, it can be classified as rape. Too bad she’s just speaking up now.

I have read must of your comments here; you maintained that the guy is a rapist and should be punished by law because there was no consent before the sex. May I state here that both of them are adults and none is a minor. In "sex" there is no legal agreement put in place (written agreement or a signed document) before sex. Both of them are not wrong because they are adults that knows the consequence of the actions they took. Following the story bit by bit it all happened the way it should. This is a consensual sex that took gradual process, there was "Please" and there was "I Accept" between them starting from curling down to MouthAction. At these point there were no evidence of violent, it all happened while both of them were discussing it and agreeing to it from one stage to another. The stage of penetration can not depends on one party to determine whether or not it will happen. Every action must have an outcome; it is naturally going to result to penetration both of them know it because they are adults one can not be a victim of their actions. You can say she was deceived, fine and good, she is an adult with sound mind to know what she wants. She didn't try at any point to give it a stop with "Strong Will", she started crying after it all got to a stage were none of them can help each other, at that point, crying and begging will be invisible to someone who is sex drunk at that moment. Everyone knows that it is normal for a female to cry during a consensual sex and if her hands and legs was not tied why should she allowed him to penetrate her without her pushing him out and getting up from her position because she was free to do so.

However, no law will accept this has a rape if we want to be fair to our nature as a part of animal. We are human beings that understand better than other animals and can control our natural instincts and organs to an "extent" but can not give full control of them in all circumstances like this one.

All women should condemn her actions because this is a mockery to rape victims, a victim of rape will not be happy reading this lady's narrative of rape. A real victim of rape knows that this lady had multitude of chances to stop her claimed unwanted sex. Those that were raped had no chance to escape from their rapist. What I understood here is that the man initiated the sex which any of them can do and she agreed. It is not rape, if you still believe it then tell us how she can prove it that she was raped by the man she allowed to have MouthAction with her. If you still count on the consent from the lady. It is still baseless because they have no witness and it is unjustifiable to believe the account of one person without solid evidence. The lady didn't cried for help from the neighbors, she didn't shout for people around to hear her and give evidence to that act. She has no evidence at all and that is why he can not be called a rapist, she should apologize to him because he is the victim of blackmail. If we start persecuting people with this kind of stories of rape then men will be at a great risk of false accusations from females. We can not count this as rape, if you want equality between men and women it must be balance equality not a one side equality. Women are not the only people that can be raped by men, some men are also victims of rape by women.

Rape is very bad, it should be a concern to everyone whether it is male or female perpetrators or victims it should be treated equally, no one is affected more than the other. We should teach our male and female children to respect peoples' dignities and how to avoid the chances of being raped by opposite or the same sex. Don't rape and don't give yourself to be raped, human beings are part of animal, control depends on the individual so be very careful to avoid anything that you may regret later. Thanks.

It is a known fact that Relationship Is For Those Who Are Willing And Ready To Forgive Each other but there must be limit to the extent of forgiveness as it will be taken for granted.

Apart from one or more characters of your spouse that you might find uneasy to contend with, i think cheating is the greatest crime one's spouse can commit which can warrant that extra ordinary spirit of forgiveness.

I know of someone whose women cheated on him for up to four times and he has been forgiving her, four times is nit cheating any more, it has become an attitude.

There is limit to everything in life, so also in relationship there is limitations to everything you do to your spouse.

If you cheat ones and your spouse forgives you, you should just count yourself to be lucky because many cannot forgive a cheating spouse.

It is not because of ego or anything but because there is limit to what everyone can accept.

For someone who cheated just ones it takes the intervention of the supernatural forces to be forgiven, and it shouldn't pass just that once.

If it is more than once, believe me it will continue because it has turned to attitude as your spouse will always have it at the back of his or her mind that you are a legend when it comes to forgiving.

Like i said in a post that divorce should not be the last resort to all marital troubles it doesn't mean that you should now turn yourself to complete fool all in the name of keeping your home.

Divorce may not be the last resort to marriage issues, but it is the ultimate solution to many other people's matrimonial challenges and no matter how hard they try to defend the union in the face of persecution they can never win that battle.

If your spouse cheat on you for the first time I think they deserve another opportunity to make it right.

And you will continue to be that lovely and romantic fool if you listen to another reason why your spouse cheated on you again when you know you are up and doing when it comes to your union.

I know that for some people the idea and reality of cheating is innate, hence, they will never stop even after you forgive them, if you know you cannot cope just give yourself a final break.

You are not worth that torment that comes along with a cheating spouse.
The thought of someone else over-smooching a woman you deal with gently in bed or the thought of another lady over-satisfying your man to the brim to the extent that he finds it hard to satisfy you when you are in the mood alone is enough to deal with you greatly.

I trust you will not try that 77×77 times that the Holy book preaches for forgiveness as this is not that kind of offence you can apply such law for as you even find it so hard to forgive just once let alone 7 times.

After one more chance I don't think someone in his or her right senses should even smell cheat anymore, else, you will be taken for granted for life.

I'm very afraid to say this, arresting Kanu is not a good Idea. Arrest, punishment and death sentence does not solve problems like this, it makes it worst. It attracts sympathies rather than correcting the issue. Many Igbos believes that he is speaking for them, such issues should be handle with care. That is how Boko Haram started, we killed the spokes man and it attracts sympathizers and some bad eggs used it as opportunity to express their talents, muscles, politics, experiments their skills and some for unnecessary anger. The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt.

I stood transfixed, staring at them for about 5 Minutes and was just turning my head around like AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING this,and then it hit me, i was no longer in Africa and even if i had been living in the US, i was yet to see two men kiss. It was a cultural shock for me to see two men make out.

I hated gays.

Then one day in Church, at a bible study. Somebody asked the pastor that if the Church preaches a lot of things about repentance and acceptance,why then do they still find it hard to accept gays?the pastor's reply was an eye opener.

And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other,they marry each other,they pay their own bills,i don't even know them.

As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity.

While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them from loving each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine.

In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures.

So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone.

You can not judge the extinction of human race as right thing to do, it has started and allowing it spread is the end of homo sapient. The child is innocent and it is coming to the world with his own gift, maybe good or bad gift. The child must be born and there is lower percentage that he will follow the foot step of his father the rapist but maybe more of blessing to the community or even the world at large. There are thousands of children born by rapist that have made great impact in their community, states, country and even some are scientist that changed the world. It's not just genes that make a person, it's how we choose to live our lives. There are many good men that are product of violent rape.

What i think PMB is doing is gathering intelligence and partnerships so that he can fully tackle this insurgency once and for all. By arresting their chief financier, he has access to the core of their operations.

Boko Haram boys know this. That is why they are bombing vehemently to force the government to commit; to force the government into a blind offensive operation. Doing this would take us all back to square one.

Defeating an insurgency is not all shot and shot. You can ask the Americans. It takes massive intelligence gathering so that you don't only defeat them, but you also curb their re-insurgence.

It's a Nigerian phenomenon that when you marry at a very young age, you'll avoid the stress and pain of raising your kids at old age. If that is only reason then the idea is useless because one needs to be mature and financially strong enough before taking decisions towards that

Early marriage is a virtue, it is very hard to make such decision. If you have the courage go for it, it is God that takes care of kids not your wealth. If you are blessed with children at the early age you should thank God. You may be lacking now that you are single but your income will increase if you have more responsibilities, that is the promise of God and He keeps His promises. You and your family will only suffer if you are not trying to do something to take care of your family or use the money you are earning to be going after another woman then that is where you will see that the children and the family will be suffering. Early marriage is not a death sentence or a reason to fail or become poor. There are more opportunity for the responsible young fathers and mothers than the single men and ladies.
