Emphatically Yes! As long as i loved her and knew wat true love means which is unconditional love. It's better i saw her and inquire from her why she did it, then we both could make the neccessary adjustment to avoid such thing from happening again. Than to be ignorant of it while it continues.

When i was a child, i remembered that my dad and other people who atr all Ikwerre men were attending an Igbo Socio-cultural meeting know as Nzuko Ndi-Igbo Union and so was other People from Ikwerre until we were given Ogbaku Ikwerre which came into existence in the 90s.

Any Ikwerre people could understand the central Igbo language even when they cant speak it. I speak and understands Igbo language, i can professionally read an Igbo Bible and understands it. Right now am @ Umuahia, though i can't speak their dialect but i understand it very well.

I wish some brainwashed Ikwerre sons & daughters will realize that they were lied to when we were told that Ojukwu was to take our resources, the resources which i doubt still exist.

Wether u are an ijaw man or not, i want to make clear to u that Ikwerre originates from Igbo. So, saying i lost my origin to the Igbos means u don't know what u are saying because i can't lost origin to my biological father because thats where my life came from.

I will also like to let u know that the division between Ikwerre and Igbo is simply political. The same politics is been played between Eleme and Ogoni. The Eleme people claimed that they are not from Ogoni for political reasons but when the Okirikas invaded Eleme, Eleme will now run to the ogonis for help as brothers.

There's a thread on this section that comfirms what i said that the Ogonis won't accept the so called Niger Delta Republic and so will other ethnic groups because its no wise staying with the Ijaws.

Yes and am not ashamed to declare my Igbo origin unlike those who claimed they are not Igbos.

But am glad u agreed wit me that Niger Delta is also made up different ethnic groups and the worst is that each of these tribe are full of tribal sentiments and never loved each other.

I am 100% safe with the Igbos but will the Ijaws lord themselves over the other tribes like Ogonis, Efik, etc? I see more troubles in the so called Niger Delta because the Ijaws will always want to dominate other tribes, just as they are currently doing in Edo & Delta states.

Col. Ojukwu wasn't seceding with Igbo people. He was dragging other people including my own people to be slaves under Igbos, which we resisted from the very begining yet he invaded us with armed Igbo soldiers. And that stupidity has landed us to where we find ourselves today.

Even in Niger Delta there is no love and unity. Ikwerre said they are not igbos but every other tribe in the region sees them as igbos. The Riverine people and those on upland are like water and oil.

Apart from d endless work on d east-west road, can u mention one more project GEJ did in Rivers state except trying to cripple rivers economy

Sincere 9gerian: Why are you having emotional tantrums? What has the power plant in Rivers got to do with power supply in Enugu? Nonsense!

Rivers state is not the only state that built power plants. Akwa-Ibom and Lagos also have built IPP power plants. In fact, that of Lagos was built in 2002 by Tinubu but yet it didn't guarantee steady power supply for residents of Lagos. Anambra and Ebonyi state are currently building IPP power plants.

I commend state govts that have built power plants and will encourage more states to build more and increase the national generation capacity. However, the problem with power supply in Nigeria is not just about power generation. Much BIGGER problems are transmission, INEFFICIENCY, very bad distribution networks, corruption, weak systems, lack of financial viability, etc.

The Rivers state power plant was not built in the last one month. The Lagos State power plant was built in 2002. If we'r to go by your logic, then Lagosians should have been enjoying stable power supply since 2002. So why was that not the case? Because of the BIGGER problems listed above. Even if you generate 1million megawatts, without fixing those BIGGER problems power will not reach peoples homes.

Until those BIGGER problems are solved, any form of improvement we see today is only temporary (you recall the improvement we saw during Nnaji era?). That is why I look forward to completion of the privatisation process and other reforms in the sector.

That notwithstanding, I commend Amaechi and other governors that have invested in building power plants.

Peter Odili did same between 1999/2001. So the question now is, is FG involve in generating and distributing of power in akwa ibom and lagos; yes or no?

The truth remains that phcn officials are the ones denying Rivers state 24/7 power supply.

Example. In Elelenwo, we were rationing light transformer by transformer which phcn blamed it on the lack of sUB-TRANSMITTING STATION. In less than 6 months a sub station was built in Radio Rivers premises in Elelenwo why was the reason residents of Elelenwo enjoyed 24/7 power supply earlier this year but go there now we hardly see light. So what excuse do they have to give us now?

Yes Gej is working but God's sake Ameachi is the man working in Rivers State. Power generation and distribution in the state is done by the state govt.

If not for phcn and their endless wahala, Rivers state would have been enjoying 24/7 power supply since december 2012
