Everyone accepts the bolded. If you are wise and pragmatic then you'd see that what you propose, Christian laws in the South, plays into their hand.

If we are pragmatically wise in the South, and understand the dangers of playing into their hands, the solution is to push for the formal and FG-backed effort to put all religions, Christianity and Islam or any other, where they belong. I.e in homes and private places of worship like Mosque and Church with no allowance at all for their influence in public and socio-economic life in any corner of Nigeria.

With the USA pushing for the end of Sharia, especially because of its contentious approval of "blasphemy killings" we have unfortunately had to witness in Nigeria, the South should be using this current global focus on Nigeria to push for more secularity the North must accept rather than us making retrogressive noise about greater influence of Christianity in public life.

Passivity has gotten a lot killed, it's a disease and either naivety or you are being the devil's advocate here. We need to safe guard Christian values of freedom, progress...the jihadists will never stop their pursuit till the end of time, indoctrination of so many years is impossible to erase, the best bet is protect yourself. I think you are simply being emotional and unwise. Southern Nigeria is a Christian region and we need Christian laws to protect our faith and values.


Christian law will forbid anybody from putting on Hijab in any Southern Nigerian state, if you must wear any veil or Hijab, do it in your house or at Mosques.

We must through the senate enact laws that will ensure Christians are safe, Christianity is preserved, it's values preserved.

We discovered that these almajiri children are exploited by mafia gangs, who transport them to Lagos and collect the money from them, leaving them perpetually poor and vulnerable to joining jihadists and bandits to survive.
