Surrendered but still clutching war weapons they killed security operatives and Nigerians with, weak people...they will still use those weapons again, bandits are demons who have thirsted blood money and they can't go back to crumbs, only an hypocrite pretender will deceive himself that bandits killers will change.

bennyg7:
You may not be a civil servant before you can engage in money laundering. When discussing issue bordering on illegal funds, it include proceed of major and sundry crimes such as extortion, money realized from blackmailing, and even from funds realized from dubious donation.

Apart from placing or layering these funds back into the system through the known methods such as hospitality and estate management businesses, school fees and scholarship is another way of integrating illegally obtained funds .

The EFCC case of a particular politically exposed individual that laundered money money through the payment of school fees is worthwhile.

The point is private individuals can be guilty of money laundering, even if he or she is not working with government
Which one affects you most, is it not laundering of public funds by politicians and their appointees?

You should focus on what affects the public and you first, and we have hundreds of people doing it on public funds as we speak.

Galactics:
OP without those unions do you know that government won't even increase your salary in first place.
How many people depend on salaries in Nigeria?

Less than 10%

The unions collect money from those workers, do you know how much those money amount to, what are they doing with that money?

That money is supposed to be managed by an insurance scheme, so each worker contributing can have access to medical aid.

What is the money contributed by the workers being used for?

There should be accountability across board.

Dangote you will loose the support of Nigerians if you don't give concessions to the Nigerian consumer, you need the Goodwill of Nigerians to thrive, and this patronage by Nigerians made you. Appreciate Nigerians with low prices and please do not sell in dollars, this is Nigeria, sell in our currency. Focus on satisfying Nigerians, your staff not unions.

BusinessRe: Forbes Report Says Nigerian Naira Now Ninth Weakest Currency In Africa by dederocs(m):
Dollars is the yardstick, they compare all currencies against the dollar...the simple cure is, reduce demand for dollars by exporting more, by producing more, and earning more dollars than you spend, as a nation, by making sure your net import value is less than your net exports value. We must kill that mediocre mentality of wanting to flaunt dollars, spend naira, demand naira...maybe the government can do a 10,000 naira bill for big money holders for their convenience, this might discourage demand for dollars by wealthy Nigerians.

I really think Hamas and this Palestinian shite is way out of proportion. Looking at what Islam is doing in Europe and their consistent request for sharia and overlooking other people's culture and ways of life, I think Israel must be right about the two state solution.

Israel is fighting what the rest of the world misunderstand. Spread of Islam is coming with heavy emotional propaganda.
Killings too in Nigeria, we should be crying for Nigerians not Palestinians.

PoliticsRe: Our Land Is Fertile, We Must Preserve Our Natural Crops System Not GMO by dederocs(op): 1:30pm On Sep 27, 2025
budaatum:
I was not aware Chinese were planting GMO in Nigeria and would like some evidence please.

GMO and anyone planting it in Nigeria must be banned, and our land should not be given to any foreign entity who is not paying market price to the right people.
If they give out commercial lands to China, be rest assured they will use GMO. I heard in the news, a lot of governors are embracing GMO, when we have untouched arable farmlands, when our lands is fertile. Though I can not specifically specify any Chinese farms, am saying we should not, because they will be coming in to maximise profits and use GMO crops and seedlings.

Why are the governors embracing it, instead of supporting their farmers for more yields.

Food is not scarce in Nigeria, banditry, terrorism is making farmers scared to go to farms, farmers also need mechanised tractors, this can be provided by government so farmers rent. Governors should stop being inefficient, and stop looking for easy ways out, which will have serious health implications, we are not ready for that type of stress on our health sector, let us preserve our natural crops, this is our doctor and hospital.

Note I didn't say they are already here using GMO, but am saying they should not be given lands, because I know China engages in agriculture across African nations, and their aim is strictly to make profits
PoliticsRe: Our Land Is Fertile, We Must Preserve Our Natural Crops System Not GMO by dederocs(op): 1:25pm On Sep 27, 2025
GMO crops have contaminated genetic makeup, diluted, or concentrated, as time goes on this contamination will take effects, our immune system and genetics overtime will degrade.

Why are people abroad not as fertile as us?

Why were they dropping to COVID 19, when we stood strong on COVID.

Simple answer is, our immune system, backed by our natural herbs and foods, propagated and grown under the almighty sunlight, no contamination of genetic make up.

I'm posting here to remind me to add to your wonderful work when I can.

Thank you.
We the conscious men must shout out the dangers of GMO, they want to own food...just the way natural herbs and plants mixed with chemicals, patented and owned, by big Pharma, now they want to own crops and seedlings, giving us fake when we have original.

May God give us sensible, good thinking leaders ready to work...see the way governors are rushing china GMO, as if we don't have lands anymore, just because of laziness and corruption.

Do not give farmlands to Chinese in Nigeria, our farmers needs to be supported, we have thousands of hectares of arable lands untouched, governors should be helping farmers open new lands for farming, and contribute machinery and fertiliser like I mentioned earlier. GMO is a disaster.

It is very dangerous to base our food source in the hands of foreigners, they use everything as leverage, history has shown. We don't need GMO, what we need is more state government investment in the agricultural sectors of their state. Provide compost manure sites, where farmers drop wastes, and come back to get compost manure at a small fee. Fertilisers can be distributed directly to commercial farmers, as a form of direct subsidy on agriculture by the state governors.
PoliticsOur Land Is Fertile, We Must Preserve Our Natural Crops System Not GMO by dederocs(op):
Last week I threw some tomatoes on the sand, this week I see tomatoes plants springing from the soil.

We are blessed, if everyone have a small garden, or a small farm, we have no issues with food problem. Of course the government must invest in educating farmers and helping them on soil rotation and crop rotation techniques, and helping them with clearing of fields, providing tractors that can be hired, providing subsidised fertiliser, and having designated zone, where natural compost manure are processed from organic wastes, such as foilage, fruit and plant waste etc. Government have the resources and leverage they must participate actively in ensuring food security, the job of government is to cater for the people.

GMO leads to the degeneration of the genes, because as time goes on, foods won't contain the right carbon, proteins and those things that makes us strong, that built our genetics that even COVID couldn't penetrate.
See some dangers of GMO here-
https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/002432.htm

The Western world are easily penetrable because of their plastic food, too much contamination in their food system, natural foods and sunlight keeps us solid, we must not throw away our joker. We can't put our food production and survival on foreign hands.
. federal government must set up and agricultural commission, to go round the states of high yields in agriculture and see how they can work with commercial farmers, providing machinery etc.

It is very dangerous to base our food yield to a technology that is the hands of the West, we must guarantee our food security, by opening up more fresh fertile farmlands for large scale farming, and encouraging the people to start home gardens and farms. A people need orientation, government must start the orientation from primary school, inculcate discipline, civic duty, patriotism in the people from childhood, most countries like china, Russia understand this, this is how to have a strong nation. Nigeria today people are more loyal to their religion than the nation, this is very bad and leads to division, the people need to be united under one banner, for progress.
