WizardOfNG:
Can you listen to yourself. You've thrown your ability to think critically and logically into the gutter simply to get back at those you should see as behind you and need to reform progessively.

Nigeria is a secular nation. Greater secularity (especially in our institution, politics, public life and socio-economic affairs) is what we should be fighting for.

Not tit for tat madness with the North that should not have been allowed to officially declare Sharia given that Nigeria is a secular nation with a legal system and rule of law every Nigerian must be subject to.

Nothing like Christian law. If we are a sensible and progressive people qe will realise secularity plays an immense part developing nation whereas overtly religious nation are characteristically backwards.

Meaning the fight, after Trump has provided the opportunity, is for the South to deliberately highlight the constitutional secularity of Nigeria and instead North abandon Sharia or, at the very least, end it's most contentious provisions, such as endorsement for "blasphemy killings", so we never see any Nigerian die as poor Deborah had to.

If you can think clearly you will realize the mantra "forward always, backwards never" is what progressives should aim for in life.

Just as you set the SE backwards adopting the IPOB-led strategy of fighting murder for murder, against Fulanis, is how the South will set itself backwards with your call for Christian laws instead of us unitedly demanding greater national secularity that will be applicable consistently across Nigeria because religion can be evil and harmful if not kept out of national life.
There must be balance, otherwise this great civilisation that has brought so much good to Nigeria and the world will be lost to an alternative that is retrogressive, dark and backward.

Tit for tat, this is the only way to push back the Muslim fanatism.

Southern Nigeria is a Christian region and we need Christian laws to protect our faith and values.

Christian law will forbid anybody from putting on Hijab in any Southern Nigerian state, if you must wear any veil or Hijab, do it in your house or at Mosques.

Christian law in Southern Nigeria will also forbid Muslims from holding prayers on the road and blocking human and vehicular movements.

It will also forbid Mosques from hanging their Megaphones on the outside of their Mosque, they must respect Christian rights and values.

And many more.

We need this asap, CAN and other well meaning Southern Nigeria lawmakers should look into this asap
We need to escalate this, without this, our blessed Christian values will be eroded in a few decades...the jihadists are not joking, a buffer is needed... Islamic extremists indoctrination in the south is a threat to Christianity as a religion. This Christian ideology has benefitted the world immensely, Christianity and Judaism have contributed scientists, innovators, and masons that built world class financial institutions, IT infrastructure and most of the technology that helps us and the world move forward today. Red Cross is Christian, Missionary schools are the best schools in Nigeria and are almost free, Saint Gregory college, holy child, Saint maria Goretti, and hundreds of such missionary schools across Nigeria, that have developed doctors, accountants, Scientists in Nigeria...this Christian ideology is a good one, and must be preserved.

We must through the senate enact laws that will ensure Christians are safe, Christianity is preserved, it's values preserved.

Almajiris must be outlawed in the south (almajiri is modern day slavery), children being forced to cover their heads to schools must be outlawed, because the Christian ideology aligns with the principles of freedoms, basically, it will be setting people free from all those evil laws and practices that held them as slaves, and some practice that doesn't follow the civilised way, freedoms , freewill, and radicalisation should be outlawed in southern Nigeria.

Christian laws are needed to guide against anti Christian (civilised) behaviour, and culture eroding the South.

The governor doesn't need to write another law, is already there, all that is needed is to make law and implement it. They are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, these are the books of law for all Christians.
We need the laws on all that resides in southern Nigeria, just like sharia in the north.
PoliticsEvery Christian/Southerner must stand for freedoms, to preserve our way of life by dederocs(op):
Christians must wake up, time for passivity and docility is over, struggle or get extinct.

Jesus Christ who inspired the Christian religion, was crucified because he spoke truth to power, he was an activist...Jesus challenged the merchants who turned the worship centre to a market Square, Jesus challenged the status quo, he tried to correct the wrongs he saw in the synagogues, he debated with them, he made them understand that an evolution is necessary, the scribes and priests of the Synagogues were not ready for such quick change, so they nailed him with blasphemy...I don't know where Christians got their passivity from.

This law is a defence against the erosion of the Christian (freedom) values of free thought, free speech and progress, in Southern Nigeria.

There are some evil clerics as we speak in little cells, filling the heads of young innocent children with indoctrination, indoctrination that will lead him to be a religious extremists terrorist, this is one of the things we will fight against, so the young minds will have space for innovation,. development and will understand national patriotism, and civic responsibility to one another and to nation.

We need Christian Association of Nigeria, to come up with a Christian/freedom creed and charter, backed by a new organisation under CAN, of loyal Christian and freedom people and lovers across Southern Nigeria, people ready to mobilise for peaceful assembly to protest wrongful killings, in the name of blasphemy laws, mob actions by Islamic fanatics etc, as in the case of Deborah, to protect the weak and vulnerable members of the society and to preserve the Christian values of the south, southerners are mainly Christians, hence we must have Christian creed and charter backed by volunteers willing to use peaceful ways, like protest, assembly, activism in social media etc, to preserve the faith, preserve our way of life and values as a people, because Christian (freedom), laws, align with the laws of modern civilisation of freedom, no enslavement, free thought and speech, outlaw slavery of any kind including almajiris, outlaw indoctrination that breeds evil extremism, outlaw ideologies that are retrogressive and backward, support and foster real democracy etc, it must be preserved for Freedom, justice and progress.

Christians must be passionate, dedicated to their religion, just like muslims are, otherwise, this great ideology that brought Red Cross and so many quality missionary schools even in Nigeria, inspired innovators, scientists (Albert Einstein, Michael Faraday, Thomas Edison, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, BBC, CNN, HSBC, Rostchilds, Goldman Sachs etc)and great leaders and schools of thought, and great men of our time will go into extinct...and the alternatives are not progressive, this is a danger to our race.

CAN can mobilise billions, churches have money with this we can do a lot, we must start organising mass protests, picketing, to protect Christian life, values and ways.

More importantly we must have Christian creed in southern Nigeria, a faithful group focused on preserving freedoms, that fights against slavery and child exploitation across Southern Nigeria, this will include rehabilitation of almajiri children with their children in the North, and helping in building schools in the North, so their children will stop being almajiris, who are future recruits for jihadists terrorists. We discovered that these almajiri children are exploited by mafia gangs, who transport them to Lagos and collect the money from them, leaving them perpetually poor and vulnerable to joining jihadists and bandits to survive.

This will create a balance and ensure laws, and traditions that are against freedoms, freewill, progress and goodwill are outlawed in southern Nigeria. This will also ensure the continuous progress and development and peace of Southern Nigeria.

For freedom, peace and progress.
Christianity EtcRe: CAN Should Work With Southern Political Elites, We Need Christian Laws In South by dederocs(op): 8:18am On Nov 07, 2025
Even Jesus Christ was active.

He challenged the old dogma, he spoke out, he was not docile, this is why he was not liked, but what he did, inspired this great religion.

Passivity doesn't pay, Christians must be active, religion has been a struggle since the ages.

We need to cherish Christianity and stand for it like the muslim stand for islam, not prayer alone, but active struggle...protests, picketing, etc...Martin Luther King the great was a priest, but he is one of the greatest activists that ever lived.

I really don't know where this passivity comes from.
Christianity EtcRe: CAN Should Work With Southern Political Elites, We Need Christian Laws In South by dederocs(op):
CAN must start behaving like muric, protest against dehumanization of Christians, take people or organisations, and government to court where necessary to protect Christian lives and values.

Christians are many in number, CAN can use picketing, mass protests, court cases to ensure Christianity survives...CAN need to mobilise, create Christian laws in the South, train your Christian youths, the brigade on discipline, dedication and indoctrinate them to stand for the cause.

CAN have a lot of money with this a lot can be done, Christianity should leave behind that passivity and change with the times, either we start being proactive and active or Christianity will be eroded.

Christianity brought missionary schools to Nigeria, Saint Gregory college, holy child, Saint maria Goretti college, and thousands of quality schools across Nigeria, Christianity brought Red Cross and thousands of charity organisation across Nigeria, we must protect this valuable and progressive ideology, because it has benefits.

Blessings and strength to all Christians.

Ban sharia or Christianity will have its own religious laws in the south, and we will outlaw so many alien practices here, so many unchristian practices will be outlawed.

Traditionalists too must have their own laws, Oro, traditional rites, and their way of life must manifest, after all we are traditional people, everyone must have equal rights.

I am curious about some certain things

1. Is the House of Rep in the US now become the 'world's watch eye '? Don't they have pressing issues that affect them that they can legislate on

2. How come the House of Rep and other security parastatals in naija never take this into consideration?

3. Religious conflict is intractable. Will this plan by the US remedy the situation or do they have an ulterior motive in Nigeria?
Since the beginning of time, there have been world powers, though a bit softer now, world powers always interfere in other nation's affairs, and US is the world power now.

Tinubu should open up and tell Nigerians what the US really want.

I am very familiar with the US as this tactic has been used for decades.

Whenever they start dishing propaganda against a nation, look the other way and you will find their motive.

For Trump so loved Nigerians and so ready to save Nigeria😁. Same Trump? It’s not even a Trump thing. It’s a NORMAL US tactic and history has it documented.

"The Bush administration... had to somehow concoct a pretext. The pretext was weapons of mass destruction. It was known to be a pretext. The inspectors were on the ground, they weren't finding anything, they were being allowed to go anywhere... So the WMD threat was a textbook case of 'a false alarm' raised to justify a predetermined decision to go to war."

-Noam Chomsky

"The history of the modern era is the history of the 'false alarm.' From the Gulf of Tonkin to the babies thrown from incubators in Kuwait, to the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq—we are told a story that is designed to terrify us and make us accept the unacceptable: the violence of war."

-John Pilger

"Today, wars are not declared. The powerful simply attack. They have developed a new philosophy and a new morality. To justify their attacks, they must first demonize the leaders of the target country... Then they will raise a great alarm about the danger posed by the country... This is the pattern. It is a false alarm, but it serves its purpose."

-Mahathir Mohamad
Gibberish.

No false alarm here, killings are real.
PoliticsRe: We Are Diplomatically Engaging The World, We Will Fight Terrorism - Tinubu by dederocs(m): 5:30pm On Nov 06, 2025
President Tinubu, mobilise like war time, because it's war, these religious extremists jihadists who hate non Muslims and moderates invaded Nigeria, declared war on Nigeria...we need to release the big guns, mobilise state resources to our war machine.

Constituency allowances payment to house of representatives and senators should be stopped for now, there should be spending cuts across ministries and strict accountability and transparency on usage of public funds, channel funds to our military, and ensure the military uses the money judiciously as well, engage America, be humble, we need help, let Trump come with the big guns, to help us chase out the terrorists... America have precision missiles, satellite and mapping technology, they can track and see the bandits and territorists movement in real time, and use high tech drones or guided missiles to take them out, use this opportunity, save the peace of Nigeria, by eliminating terrorists.take brutal decisive action or Nigeria risks civil war.

Accountability and fiscal transperancy is still a big problem in Nigeria, military contracts and purchases should be scrutinized to ensure accountability.
