Kalulu44: Sorry to burst your bubble, Fela never performed on stage with those pictures you see there. All those pictures you see there are him either relaxing at home or rehearsing. . And if you look at the man from his lifestyles of women, smokes and all. And then don't look at his msg, then you are missing something. Just like most people judging the movie Spartacus with its nudity and sexual scenes, but that movie has one of the best storyline and plots that I have ever seen. Fact... people wear briefs in their premises, I see nothing bad in Fela dressing how he likes, there are other thousands of photos showing him dressed elaborately, the fact that the press follows Fela everywhere is not his fault... those people are very mediocre instead of them to focus on what he stood for, his sacrifices for the people they are talking like senseless kids, wetin concern dem and wetin man wear, lol...genz mentality. |

Nwaikpe: How such a man became popular and famous is still the issue today.
That is what bad government can do.
A bad government can make a nobody popular. Very ignorant, Fela was from an aristocratic family, he studied law then music in UK, his mother was a revered activist, who along with Herbert Macaulay, Pa Enahoro and a few others fought against British rule, mobilised the people...Fela too was an activist, this is why he is highly respected, it takes guts to be an activist in the military era, fighting for a higher cause...the family stood for a higher cause, sacrifice, enlightenment, fighting for justice and equality for all Nigerians and Africans, including your sorry self...what have your family stood for? Fela went on to be an internationally acclaimed musician, invented afro beats, known worldwide for his musical genius and maestro...Jay z and Beyonce came to Nigeria because of Fela. You think say na to dey live selfish life we dey talk here? |

The release of bandits and kidnappers is what is fueling the surge of kidnapping. A society without deterrence have exposed it's people to death and destruction in the hands of terrorists and violent criminals. I pity Nigerians.
I have never seen any serious country pardon violent criminals that have killed it's citizens...we have evil leaders. |

maternal: 100k dollars will give you a decent life abroad in an expensive city. 100k dollars abroad in an affordable city, you're laughing. Village boy, only an uninformed person works for minimum wage pass one year after arrival. A unionized toilet cleaner makes over 100k dollars per year easily. You don't pay house rent there too ?
Broke baby mama's get free subsidized housing. Roommates ? Stop projecting your failures on to others. Living in a face me, face you, with no running water, no electricity, etc just to say "I get my own place" is no flex. Those poorly built houses with poor workmanship.
Someone that lives in the poverty capital of the world, with the world's lowest life expectancy is opening mouth, talking about menial job. 99% of people in that country do menial jobs.
I know you're trolling. But stop discouraging people to migrate. That's wickedness It's not a big money abroad. You are still at the bottom of the food chain there. Minimum wage is nothing to be proud of even in heaven, you go suffer for nothing. |

Nigeria is now a comedy where bandits and terrorists are lords, this is a disgrace, we see on the internet the hobnobbing between politicians and the bandits. How can a bandits that have killed scores be forgiven, just like that...it is senseless. This is the reason they say Nigerians are being prosecuted, because the government is not tackling the bandits, not prosecuting them properly, they are giving them soft landing, this is a betrayal of the promise you gave to Nigerians to protect their lives and property. This government should handle security seriously. Citizens can't be getting killed and bandits are being reconciled with, it is a slap on the collective intelligence and will of the masses. |

maternal: Not true. This false narrative needs to stop. A unskilled laborer in a unionized job can make up to 100k dollars per year abroad easily. I'm talking about North America. A minimum wage earner at McDonald's has a better quality of life and more Money than 95% of people in naija. America in the 1700's is more developed than naija in 2025. Never compare the two labour market. Naija doesn't even have labour laws like that. Na suffer oga...100k a year abroad is not a big money, how is this possible on a minimum wage of 12 USD an hour...dont you pay for house rent? do you work 24hrs? Sharing a small flat with people and living like a pauper is not life, if anything happens your room mates go share your small properties Unless you live like a pauper to save, it's a boring suffering life, in this short existence, doing menial jobs in your 40s is suffering, even in heaven. Young boys spend 100k USD a month in Nigeria...or did you travel from a village? |

Orlaoluwayimika: Thesourcerer u shld add this lady that killed her husband by stabbing him in his neck after he had just recovered from the initial stabbing she had stabbed him.
Last night Lowo and his wife Yewande had an argument in their Akobo home in Ibadan, where they reside, over his proposed business trip scheduled for later in the week. Lowo was to travel to Europe for business purposes and then stop over to visit his child (from another woman) who’s also living in Europe with the mother. “This didn’t go well with Yewande I suppose and the squabble continued into late In the night. In the process Yewande stabbed her husband Lowo on the shoulder missing his heart by just few inches.
Their neighbour-the Landlord intervened in the matter and took Oyelowo to a nearby hospital for treatment as he bled profusely. After treatment he was released to return home and instructed to rest as he had lost a lot of blood. On arriving home, the Landlord’s son offered Lowo his room to pass the night. But he declined the offer stating clearly that ‘all was fine as he trusted his wife and believed she didn’t mean to harm him’. “Few hours later, a shout was heard again: it was the cry of a man in agony. Oyelowo was battling for his life, blood gushing out of his neck and mouth. His wife Yewande had used a knife to stab him once again, unfortunately it was in the neck, a very delicate part of the body. He was whisked to the hospital where he was certified dead on arrival”. “Oyelowo Oyediran Ajanaku was 38yrs old when his wife Yewande Oyediran,Nee Fatoki, stabbed him in the neck with a knife which ultimately led to his untimely death.

Ajumobi later released the woman close to the end of his tenure tho she was initially sentenced to 7 yrs imprisonment & I think she only spent 4 yrs for the murder she committed.
https://punchng.com/why-ajimobi-pardoned-lawyer-jailed-for-killing-husband-ex-ag/ Why release her, after she stabbed him twice, Nigerian politicians are strange. |

TheSourcerer: Shi Jianqiao When Chinese military officer Shi Congbin was murdered by Zhili warlord Sun Chuanfang in 1925, his daughter Shi Jianqiao took it upon herself to avenge him.
Her father had not just been murdered by Sun but decapitated, with his severed head displayed on a pike at a local train station.
In retaliation, Shi tracked down Sun and assassinated him with three shots from her pistol. Instead of fleeing the scene, she stayed to justify her actions to passers-by, offering them leaflets to explain what she had done.
In the end, the moral edge to her crime meant that she was granted a full pardon in 1936 for “filial piety.” Gangster |
