Good evening to those who have been there before me, please I need an advise I have always wanted to study medicine but because of low jamb score I wasn't admitted. So 2017 I wrote jamb again and scored 234 and I put pharmacy asy course in uniuyo but still wasn't admitted. 2019 that's currently now I scored 200 in jamb which is very low,I am confused with the course to study, am thinking of SLT and biochemistry but I need to go to school this year.don't know what to do.

Guys, help me thank God OOOOOO... The Master Physician has done it for me. I have been admitted to study Medicine and Surgery at the prestigious University of Benin. After 3 yrs, the Lord finally did it.. Chai, from Uniben to Unilag and finally back to Uniben..Right now, I'm just simply the happiest guy on planet Earth. I thank God for not allowing the waited years to be wasted years.
To my Ogas in the house, U guys have been of immense inspiration to us , believe it or not. After reading from the beginning of this thread, I had enough inspiration and believed I could succeed.. to the other aspirants ,pls do not give up, the Lord will do yours IJMN..
I just thank God for breaking 3 yrs of academic stagnation in my life. My status has changed from med aspirant to med student. I give God all the glory.

These schools keep frustrating people. I can still remember how glad I felt when I checked my Jamb result to see 306. I studied harder for post utme, even quit my job at a factory just to focus on this goal of mine. I later scored 320 in UNN Post utme and my aggregate was 313, now the cut off marks have been released and it's pegged at 327. Right now I'm so devastated and I'm considering doing a change of institution. Please guys help me out, I'm confused.

Your friend should try getting a new birth certificate. If it's not possible for him, then, he should get a court affidavit swearing that the two names refer to the same person. With that, the case is settled.

However, let him, first of all, try getting a new birth certificate that'll tarry with his other documents.

My dear, I'm already tired of waiting. It's quite appalling that releasing the list could take this long, whereas unis such as UNILAG, AKSU, UNN, and UNICAL that had their post utme exams days after UNIUYO conducted their screening had released their first list, about releasing a second one.

I just pray and wish that the school will not be this slow when it comes to other academic affairs because I didn't anticipate such delay.

However, just as you said, we still keep our fingers crossed since we can't do anything other than that.

By the way, what course are you going for?
