Wait...what? POF or ITA exams? Or I am not reading this right? Please tell me this is sarcasm. I'm guessing you were trying to say MOD/IDP or BC. It's better to ignore or direct people to page 1 than to mislead them ooo Samuelobiora19: 7 Likes |

Congratulations on your landing boss, Canada shall be good to you. I can relate with the post-PPR confusion. The planning after no be here. It has sometimes been overwhelming, but it is fun to be honest. I really enjoyed your landing gist and it came handy for "local man" like me who hasn't travelled out of Naija before. All tips and heads up from you will be appreciated, continue giving us hot hot. Stay blessed Chief and thanks for sharing. DboyizGood: 2 Likes |

Thank you. Please check your ITA letter, the link to raise CSE is in there. Alternatively, you could use Google to search for "IRCC Webform". All the best. ovy92: 1 Like 1 Share |

Thanks and God bless you. Let me try answer your questions: 1. For the POF summary, all I did was write out all the funds I was using. All my funds were in Treasury bill investment, a little more than enough for a single applicant. I only used the 25% of my Retirement Savings account as a buffer against currency fluctuations. I didn't have any table as advised previously here, just a list I typed using MS Word and converted to PDF. I merged with the other document for POF and that was it. 2. There is no specific website per say as I learnt the Bank of Canada has an exchange rate released quarterly or thereabout. However, you could use oanda.com or xe.com and you will be fine. Please ensure you are converting from NGN to CAD $ and not the other way around. That way, you will know exactly the amount it will be in CAD $. 3. I used oanda.com and attached a screenshot for the day of my AOR For your overlap, please do address in the LOE. A friend with a similar issue as mine was pro-active and filled a Schedule A form pre-AOR and submitted with his LOE. He didn't get any ADR while I did. In all, just be careful and very observant. Please don't be in a hurry to submit and make silly mistakes. Immigration is law and provided you do not mislead or lie, PPR will eventually come. Congrats on your ITA, you are almost home and dry. You can reach out if you require further assistance. All the best and Godspeed, cheers. scholar: 7 Likes 6 Shares |

Naah, please don't be like that. He had his reasons for telling me to adjust and he didn't ban me, only told me to summarise. Please let's be fair. He seems to be a great guy and there was no malice or prejudice intended. All love. 4 Likes |

[quote] It's PPR and COPR. Before I proceed, please indulge me to plug in this powerful prayer from godG: "Thank you, Jesus! This wouldn't have been possible without you. You keep bringing opportunities my way. This is beyond me. Heavenly Father, I really don’t know what Canada will bring because You have been teaching me not to be rigid with my plans. However, let this be the beginning of a fulfilling journey for me and mine. When the road gets rough, please straighten me, hold me, and abide with me. I put my trust in You. Plug me into Your purpose for my life there. In Canada, let only Your will for me be done. I'm going to Canada by the power of Your might. You are my hope. You are my all in all. No lack. No loss. No limitation." God has really come through for me in so many ways that I have lost count. I wouldn't even be able to write this if it wasn't for God. Thank you Lord for finding me worthy of this great privilege. To summarise, this is an abridged version of the story: NOC - 4021 CRS - 470 ITA- 12th August, 2019 Medicals at Q Life - 3rd September, 2019 PCC at Alagbon - 3rd September, 2019 Application fee and RPRF - 6th September, 2019 AOR- 6th September ADR (Schedule A) - 20th September. This was due to overlap in my work and study history. I didn't submit a LOE initially. Schedule A didn't validate so I submitted like that with LOE. MEP/BIL- 25th September Biometrics completed - 27th September 1st Ghost update - 28th September 1st October 2019 - Raised CSE to inform IRCC of different name on my birth certificate, though none of my credentials had the name. To explain, my name is Ciroma, Chukwuma Adekunle but my birth certificate had the names Ciroma, Olaide Chukwuma. I just needed my peace of mind to declare all, not like I submitted my birth certificate with my application. 4th December - Raised a CSE requesting to know my Visa Office 10th December - CSE was replied with Visa Office being Ottawa. Call to IRCC - 30th December, 2019 (The long silence finally got to me and I developed this anxiety about wanting information about my application. Totally pointless as I got no meaningful information; Dingtone app and number were useless thereafter. Waste of my time and money to be honest. Not something I'll recommend as it has no effect on the application and only increases your tension) 2nd Ghost Update - 8th January, 2020. Additional documents (Schedule A) changed to "Not Applicable" PPR - 9th January, 2020 Passport Submission at VFS - 13th January, 2020 Application approved in profile - 29th January, 2020 Mail received from "Accra Immigration" on Visa affixed to Passport - 7th February, 2020 (I was actually on my way to VFS Lagos when I got the mail) COPR picked up at VFS - 7th February, 2020 Single applicant (na only me waka come) Stream- FSW-O Document to upload Prior to submission, I created a folder on my laptop labelled "Express Entry 2019", an idea I got here on the thread. I labelled each sub-folders as follows: 1. Digital Photograph (contained the digital photograph in jpeg format alone) 2. Education Document (contained WES Evaluation Report, IELTS Test Report Form, Masters degree statement of result, Bachelors degree certificate and WAEC certificate; all merged together and appropriately labelled using ilovepdf.com) 3. Employment Document (contained Employment Reference Letter, Offer of Employment Letter, Confirmation of Appointment Letter, Promotion Letter, Personal Emoluments Cards showing salary payments from January to August, 2019, Work Identity Card front and back, Bank statement from January to August with salary payments highlighted with pdf highlighter; all merged together and appropriately labelled using ilovepdf.com) 4. Letter of Explanation (LOE) - I had no need for this so the folder was empty. 5. Medical Certificate - The e-medical information sheet I was given at Q Life. It was rightly labelled "Medical form" so there is no mistake when uploading. 6. Passport - The data page and other page of my International Passport in pdf format. 7. Police Certificate - The pink police character certificate, The page with applicant name and fingerprints, the second page with my passport photograph and "reason for enquiry" being Canada; all merged together and appropriately labelled using ilovepdf.com) 8. Proof of Funds - Proof of funds summary with conversion from Nigerian Naira to Canadian Dollar and 25% of Pension funds calculation, Bank Reference Letter addressed to IRCC, Nigerian Treasury Bills Investment Certificate (soft copy sent from the bank to me), Bank statement highlighting Treasury bill investment and re-investment from January to August, Retirement Savings Account Statement (also soft copy sent to me), oanda.com screenshot of Nigerian Naira to Canadian Dollar as at day of submission; all merged together and appropriately labelled using ilovepdf.com) Note: I was of the opinion that it was better to submit all relevant document without holding back any than to hold Post-AOR and Waiting for PPR Prior to uploading and submission of all the document, I checked and re-checked to make sure the labellings were correct and there were no mistakes. I uploaded all document on the 6th of September and paid using Sterling Visa card same day. I paid all fees upfront (CAD$ 1125) which was a little above 300k and got the AOR mail almost immediately. On the 8th of January, I checked messages on the OVO group and noticed someone with an AOR date close to mine got a "miracle update". Immediately, I logged in to my account half expecting to see "submitted". I jumped from the bed when I saw "Application/Profile updated". I took a screenshot of it and kept staring at the screen for some time before I opened the profile to see that the ADR had changed to "Not Applicable". I was so happy but anxious at the same time, I didn't want to imagine what it could mean. I logged in to my LinkedIn to see that my profile was viewed the previous day by two people in "Private mode". The next day, being the 9th, I just couldn't wait for 11pm as that was the time the mails seemed to drop. Around 8pm, I got carried away in an interesting conversation and didn't take cognisance of the time. I dropped the call around 10:50pm and realized my mobile network wasn't available. I switched to my other line and immediately the data connected, I got a mail in my box. My brothers and sisters, I just knew in my mind it was THE GOLDEN MAIL. I scrolled down without opening and saw "Ready for Visa". Jesus is Lord. Thank you Lord. God bless Canada and may Canada always be a blessed country. May Canada always be a leader in the comity of nations. Oh, you beautiful and blessed country. Appreciation and Advice Thank you all for having read this far. Thank you to the people who started this great thread, it is an information database on this journey and every question you could think of has been answered. I joined this thread around part 5 and I can say for a fact it simplified the journey for me. Thank you to all members of August/September/October WhatsApp group and OVO (Baddest) group. You guys made the wait worthwhile. Thank you to justwise, topsmamen, ladymarshall, yemblaze, bankyh1905, ednut1, tina26 (I call you Margaret Thatcher), iaatmguy, stencil and the other numerous people who give selflessly to make this thread an information trove. God bless you all. To everyone on this journey, please take your own future in your hands and take charge. Read and read whatever information you can lay your hands on. This is your future and I can assure you it will be worth the effort. With God on your side, you can totally accomplish this without the help of any agent. This thread is your "agent". To those of us post-PPR, let us not get carried away and lose sight of why we had to leave Nigeria in the first place. We are going to a society that works and it is our job to be the best we can be over there. We have a duty of care to change the perception of Nigerians by being our best. Let's endeavour to leave any bad habits here in Nigeria and be prepared to live with a respect of other people's cultures and an open mind. I'm sure that having come this far, we are willing to give what it takes to make a success of our life in Canada. There are people counting on our good behaviours, we can't afford to disappoint them. God bless us all. Like we say here, "It has truly ended in praise". See you all on the other side of the Atlantic. Stay blessed everyone, cheers. [quote] 79 Likes 29 Shares

Colonades Hotel is used for BC IELTS speaking exams alone, not for the other modules. You should get or have gotten another email from BC informing you of your LRW venue. I had the same issues and a mail indicating Classique Events Centre as my examination venue was later sent. All the best and hope this helps. Cheers. MissyVee007: |

Don't think it's fairly hard though. Maxed out IELTS, Master's degree and 5-year work experience gave 470 at age 31. Imagine folks who are in their 20s and have siblings in Canada with similar profiles. Their CRS scores will be higher than 485. Those are the people responsible for the astronomical increase in CRS scores and to be honest, it's not reducing any time soon in my opinion. One shoud just do whatever he can to remedy the situation. All will be well with us all eventually. canadaman18: 2 Likes |
