Guardian News - Houston, TX - The basic issues of Muhammadu Buhari’s unpreparedness for a presidential race he is currently engaged in have been worsened by his impromptu trip to the United Kingdom, unearthing more controversies by the hour. Close campaign aides from his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) had smuggled him to London to seek solutions for his fading fitness, but deceptively claimed the trip was connected to a proposed engagement in the Chatham House, an independent policy institute based in London. The institute quickly denied any engagement with General Buhari, and in fact, referred our field reporters to their complete event schedule made public in the website at the time.

To save face, Buhari’s aides quickly contacted the Chatham House late last week, to secure a self-sponsored address spot where he would be allowed to read his own script through a live stream, rather than a live audience. International Guardian gathered that campaign has already circulated notices in the social media, asking all APC members to log in with specified Twitter hatch tags to generate substantial audience. A long script was prepared to coach the General on issues of democracy and the future of Africa. It was also gathered that questions have been prepared ahead and screened while the audience are being deceived into sending in questions for their august cyber guest.

A Chatham House official told the International Guardian London correspondent, Adejumoke Agboola that Buhari’s meeting is restricted and prohibited to both the public and the media. The Nigerian community who were eager to keep up with activities surrounding his visit were also disappointed. For instance, Buhari, it was gathered did not show up in the first forum quickly put together at the Park Plaza Hotel in Westminster to generate some photo moments for his campaign. Only his wife, Hajiya Aishatu Buhari and Dolapo Osibanjo, the spouse of the party’s vice presidential candidate and a few other party loyalists showed up at the event.

“For an election just less than five weeks ago, it is unusual that a major contender would jet-off to a foreign land for such long period unannounced without a major reason – I smell a rat,” said Martha Ugowe, a citizen who spoke to us from Lagos . “We are talking about Nigerian voters voting in Nigeria – so how would a visit and meetings in UK help an average voter in a Nigerian village?” she asked.

Good morning to you all Canadian-Nigerians, May God Almighty be aware of our cries and hear us in Jesus Name. It's only a week I got my TRV (conference) application refused due to so many reasons such as lack of funding and lack of travel experience etc, Now I have decided to start the next application journey by travelling abroad for 2 weeks, after that I will start putting my documents together and fire again.

Please house! I have just gotten a conference invitation letter from Japan and I am again a presenting author, I would want to know, if anyone knows anything about Japanese visa application, please advice me, the conference is in November and no too much time.

God will see us all through from our A to Z in JESUS NAME.

Those are the basics documents included. everything returned to me including the bank statement.
I'm already searching for new conference again, I need an expert advice on how to follow this guys, e be like say na idan dis piple won see. walai.

I just got back home from VFS Billings way & my TRV appl. is refused due to inadequate financial support, lack of family ties, I saw 2 letters about my refusal in the envelope though. To be honest, I did not lie about anything, I still plan to maintain that on my second attempt before the year runs out though.

Good day everyone, I'm only 30 minutes new on this fine and reputable trend, I have been following your comments, you guys are out of this world, so brilliant. I have a few questions, to be honest, I've no idea about TRV applications or whatsoever, I got on here sometimes ago and saw some useful infos. I applied for TRV on the 4th July 2014 through VFS Lagos, I had a conference based on energy in Alberta invitation letter, I'm also a presenting author (my abstract was accepted) I paid for the conference through paypal, I made a hotel bookings, Lufthansa flight reservation, My marriage certificate, letter from my church since I work in the Church; in the letter from the pastor, they will fund my hotel bookings and furnish me with 750USD since I'm only going for a week, My GTB bank ACC statement running good for 6 months but with =N= 630,000 final balance as at in July. My rent agreement and receipt showing my rent still run through till ending of 2015. cars particulars, wedding pictures, letter of recommendation from my Dean where I graduated from, letter of purpose, and so on. My concern here is that, I made a mistakes on my family information forms due to my hasting up at that point, I filled em up well but sign and dated where i believe I should not have signed and dated, would that be considered as a simple mistake or have I blew my chances. (2) the conference is in Oct, and my application is stretching to the second month, do I just contact them or should I wait more? Thank you as you advice me on this issues ....
