You completed your biometrics on December 12th, and while your files hadn’t been transferred to UKVI by the 13th, they printed your vignette on the next working day, December 16th.. UKVI has really been put through a lot.

They accept 3000 pounds for deposit. When the visa is out you will add the remaining balance to make it 50percent. The 50 percent is for enrollment. With 3000 you will get CAS

The only discount I know is if you pay your school fee in full at a specific date you will get a 5% discount. The school fee for my course is 11800. Some courses are 11300. Their school is one of the cheapest.

Congratulations. Have you checked the procedures on VFS website?? I believe all payments are at the counter at VFS office when submitting the PPs in person. Except you want to courier it then it wont. In any case see the steps for PP submission on the site.

November and I believe it is overdue. August is wayyy overdue. If you as applied yourself, write them an email with URGENT in your subject. They should get back to you soon hopefully

Before I landed, I engaged my girlfriend and we did introduction. Marriage was postponed till later to ensure that my marital status didn't change since I already had Copr and visa and didn't think having my application reopened before landing was the best option at that stage.

In the last one week, she has been on my neck to start processing our reunion. I explained to her that while we want this reunion now, we can't do anything till situation normalizes. She is suggesting that she applies for a tourist visa. I told her that while tourist visa is good it may not be the best option for our current situation. Here is the situation, we don't have the accumulated finances or income flow or assets to support a tourist visa application at the moment.

I suggested, that she calms down till income starts coming, so that we can arrange my trip to Nigeria for our marriage. Afterwards we can leverage one policy that IRCC rolled in around May 2023 and submit a PR application then with the AOR apply for spousal visit Visa and SOWP all at once. She considers my suggestion deceptive that I don't want her to join me, hence I am not approving of her tourist visa plan.

From her stance and what she heard from one of her colleagues she thinks the financial situation which affects the potential POF she may need to apply for her tourist visa can be arranged by agents. All my efforts to make her understand that she doesn't have a solid case with the tourist visa plan and that I don't trust Nigeria agents and can't allow her jeopardize our future reunion with unreliable documents showing numbers.

According to what she heard from a colleague too she even suggested to go ahead and acquire our certificate but I told her that it will be marriage by proxy. Especially if I don't leave Canada at the time, it will be issued and Canada doesn't recognise proxy marriages. Hence, if we apply anything with that certificate it may backfire.

The constant pressure to do something about our reunion is not helping issues at all. Please if you have any suggestion that may help us, we are willing to listen.

First, pressuring you for application is a RED FLAG! All I see is an overzealous woman who is eager to attain 'power'. If you can, DO NOT DO COURT MARRIAGE. Infact, no marry this one at all. You will be signing your own ruin.

Now, in the event that you gullibly agree to marry this person and go to court, you can apply for spousal sponsorship. I can effectively tell you that you DO NOT NEED a POF for that. Neither does she. All you need is a Full time Job!

Tourist visa is a waste of your time. Chances are high they will refuse it anyway and in the event that it succeeds, your life will be on a setback because she can't work and you will work your ass twice as much to accommodate a liability before you apply for what you should have applied for in the first place.

I advise you ignore her and settle yourself down first before thinking of one woman.

Babes boku as you already know or will soon know. A reasonable 'lifelong partner' will allow you settle down while an 'opportunist' will press you because all they think about is their selfish interest.
