If you are legally married, TRV is the wrong visa to apply for. They are telling you to apply for a visa more suited for a married person. If your wife is A PR, she should just sponsor you. If not SOWP is your next best chance.

It will be pretty difficult to convince a VO that you want to visit your own wife and return. So they have given you a pointer. This was my situation so I know.

I have a friend in Canada that wants to attend a Private College due to the expensive fees of the public colleges. The private college officials told her she’d do ‘flag pole’ (If I heard that well), that she would be able to get a post graduate work permit this way after study.
My friend is not sure about what the Private college officials said, and concerned about her chances of getting a PGWP after completion of the study.
Please help with clarification good people.

To Flagpole means to drive to a canadian border with the US and walking out of canada and back in without getting into US. It is a kind of exit and entry. Completely legal.

I got PPR yesterday as well. Thanks to the gurus in the house. I waited for this 8 good months but nothing happened until I came here and somebody suggested I apply for gcms note. Below is my timeline

Application from uk: 05-07-2023
Biometrics: 14-07-2023
GCMS note: 08-04-2024
PPR: 25-04-2024
Processing period: 265 days

If you gave biometrics at VFS then you have the biometric letter. Your UCI is at the top left of your biometric letter

Good day my good pple on here, I’m here to give feedback back on a thread I posted about receiving a ppr without biometrics, here is what I’m on with my agent we agreed on meeting at VFS and he will give me the ppr letter and the other documents I will make the submission myself inside before I give him any money, like he said he said the visa is runs that he has inside contact that I will confirm it myself I will collect tracking numbers and receipt myself.

Please ur advice is needed

No bro, it's an agent that applied it for me, I don't have the portal but I put my own email during the time of my biometrics at abuja so they sent me tracking number wic I later sent to my agent

Sorry there’s nothing anyone can do for you here. All your application updates is in your agent hands 100%. The email you used for biometrics is is different from what your agent used ( my guess). So go meet that agent in person and tell him to LOG INTO YOUR PORTAL IN FRONT OF YOU. No accept screenshots o.

I submitted on 17th of Nov. 2024. Did Biometrics on the 27th of Nov. Passport request 16th April. I submitted;
- USA 5yrs valid visa
-UK Valid visa
-Schengen valid visa
-Property documents
-Euro alc statement
-USD alc statement
-6months naira alc statement with a closing bal of about 100m or so
-Business registration documents for myself and wife
- 2 Hotel reservations
-CAD 36k available for spend for a family of 5.
- Business Partnership documents

Yes, they're in November already. Btw, my tech who helped submit my passport for onward doapatch to the ircc for stamping 2 months ago was able to also submit his own today at the vfs, manor house. He said the crowd he saw today of those submitting passport for stamping almost tripled those seen a couple of months back when he submitted mine.

Invariably, those who applied in the last quarter of the year was much, which could have been the reason some applications are taking longer than anticipated. In the end, i pray it ends in joy. The turnout also suggests to me that IRCC dey issue plenti visa daily contrary to the opinion of some.

1st application submitted 8th of November but I forgot to include my Canadian visa refusal 7 years ago,so i cancelled it and submitted a new one 10th of November and included all refusals including US refusal 4 years ago.
Biometrics was done 17th of May, BVL and PPR dropped same time 15th of April.

IRCC will contact you when its time. You will get the letter in your portal

Lastly passport submission is done personally, so dont send your pp to him. Go to VFS yourself and you may be lucky to hear the truth.

If na oluwole, you go chop 10 years ban and can be turned back at the port of entry.
