We understand the anxiousness of wanting to travel as soon as you get your stamped passport. Well, If you have enough stack $ oo, you can come in early and start spending lol (nobody go tell you, nah your naira-naira exchange go tell you that one). But for people with “in yoruba voice ‘Owo oniru, Owo Oniyo’ means, you whey be say you gada $ all you had both home and away together for this Canada journey, REMEMBER you will start spending $ not naira again ooo, and you can't start working until your school resumes. So one month before resumption is still ideal, and you can settle in within that time frame.

I'm not discouraging anyone who want to come in early, Pls just make sure you have a valid cause and put a few extra factors in place. Shalom

I got a PPR. and here are my timeline and document submitted.
3rd-time applicant
First rejection December 2022: Uploaded a soon-to-expire residence permit card (A month left), was rejected based on the status of residence. Didnt get GCMS after rejection and applied immediately.
Second rejection February 2023: Finance, program selection, and limited work in country of residence.
This time I applied for notes and it helped in understanding the reason for rejection and how to tackle it. Also, I didn't show my sponsor residence status as indicated by the review officer. And my SOP was not that good.

Repackage and resubmitted:

SOP of 3 pages addressing why this study, who is sponsoring etc
Past rejections and I addressed what is new (Showing my residence status new and expired)  
Travel histories (Europe travel)

Please I need you to help me verify if my brother is making a mistake or I should let him proceed with the agent.

My brother owns a shop but was advised by a friend who told him to travel out and now my brother is planning to sell everything in his shop.

My question is…. Can he really get a job with Schengen visa?

- Firstly he agreed with the agent to pay 3.5million naira for Finland visa last 4 weeks.

- He paid advance 1 million naira
- Today the agent called him and said visa is out only for him to see its Greece Schengen visa.
- He was told to pay for account statement which he paid 20k
- The agent said there won’t be any interview but just to go and thumbprint
- He said after thumbprint possibly next week he will then have to pay for flight ticket and move.
- He said my brother can travel to up to 20 countries and work there.

Please is this true?
Advise me if we should stop my brother from paying remaining balance of 2.5.

Will this really work… the agent said Finland but went ahead and did Greece saying my brother can travel to Finland and other countries from Greece.

Help me please cuz he wants him to balance up.

If you don't mid I would like to give you some tips. Rather than save $120,000 have you thought about entering real estate?
Instead of paying a landlord $1,300 a month, you can buy your own house and start building equity. So basically you are paying yourself $1,300 a month.
Secondly and don't take this the wrong way but why are you paying for a new car? $500 every month for 8 years is a lot of money and I think you are better off driving a clean used car than paying for a new car. I drive a 2007 Hyundai which serves me well but I own my own house (mortgage). I honestly don't see the essence of a new car as it loses value immediately you drive it out of the lot

Yeah the details make it confusing. Like the wife will need stuffs, transport, clothes and all expenses so what's the motive of handing over a part time pay check when the hubby is already completely responsible for her needs and she'll be enrolling for her school. Her needs will still come from his pocket. OP, if you can't save as much each month, you can pause a bit on it till the next but if you give details on your wife's paycheck, we know you're still responsible for her needs and general upkeep and it will come from same savings
