2) TIGON: Male Tiger + Female Lion(lioness) We have seen the Liger which is a cross between a male lion and a female tiger. Now, here is the Tigon, which is also a cross between a lion and a tiger, only this time the gender of the parent species are reversed. Tricky huh? Ligers are distinct from Tigons, which come from a female lion and male tiger. Various other big cat hybrids have been created too, including leopons (a leopard and a lion mix), jaguleps (a jaguar and leopard mix), and even lijaguleps (a lion and jagulep mix).

As if the animal kingdom wasn’t a weird and wonderful enough place already, human intervention has given rise to a whole host of hybrids that seem like they belong in fairy tales. These crossbreeds are created by mating the male of one species with the female of another, creating something entirely new. Most of these hybrid offspring are infertile, meaning they cannot reproduce, but those that can sometimes even go on to produce their own mixed-species offspring carrying the traits of three separate species. The animals on this list are only a fraction of the vast possibilities for hybrid animals in the future! 1)LIGER: Male Lion + Female Tiger Ligers are the cross of a male lion and a female tiger, and they are the largest of all living cats . Like most hybrids, they are sterile(can't reproduce) Some female ligers can grow to 10 feet in length and weigh more than 700 pounds. http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/animals/photos/11-amazing-hybrid-animals/zebroids

scarr:No. Just speaking for heavy users, with erratic power supply, like me. |
ki02020:I am a heavy user. I usually buy 2 extra batteries whenever l buy a new phone. Because of our erratic power supply, l always charge the extra batteries whenever there is power(few times a week in my area) At times l even charge them in those phone accessories kiosks...while still using my phone at home. By doing so, l would have 2 extra batteries to use for days during power cuts With a non-removable battery, l would have just one battery, which when it goes flat leaves me with no spare till the next power supply(God knows when )Only those with 24/7 power supply won't bother about the whole thing. |
UchihaItachi:Removable batteries may soon be phased out from what l am seeing. I don't know what reasons they will give, but many newer high-end phones are coming with the option of non- removable battery. For heavy users in this clime with erratic power supply, it's going to be very frustrating! |
ki02020:Sir, no need to bother There is no issue over copyright here. Neither of us is the author of the article (i.e. if it is even the same article) It is just an article on Yahoo It is somewhat lengthy and 'disorganized' on the website, so l tried to modify it a bit before posting...together with the source, of course. However, my not-so-smart smartphone has been disappointing. |
Chizak24:l stole your article ![]() How? I have never heard of your site, neither have l been to it You didn't post the article anywhere on nairaland, either. l searched the phone section to be sure nobody had created a similar thread, but l found none. You are not the author of the article l was trying to post. I was going to post it together with the source...which obviously is not your website. Please spare me, l don't know what you are yapping about. ![]() |
Sorry guys. l have been battle with poor reception ( network) l am finding it very hard to organize, summarize and post the article. Even the file pictures have refused to load. However, rest assured l will eventually succeed. It is a very interesting article, so keep on checking on the thread Bear with me for now. Thanks |
Like l earlier promised,I have done my best, but the summarized article has refused to be posted. l don't think it is poor reception ( network) as l initially thought. l guess my smartphone(windows phone) is not so smart after all. smh. • Shawn and Aaron Ashmore Okay, I'll admit it. I had no idea there were two Ashmores even though I have watched numerous programs and movies starring both brothers. These identical twins have both had stints in Smallville, but Shawn is probably the better known of the two thanks to his role as Iceman in the X-Men film series.

olatunjithomas:You can't actually see a man holding a rifle That is not the point. However, if you look well, you would be able to guess the sniper's position in each picture. That is the point l got 7 correctly out of the 16. All you need is interest and concentration. These are real snipers- masters of disguise- not kids playing hide and seek. |
Expsbterror:Well, that seems like a pretty good idea...till the sniper 'knocks' you first. ![]() |
free2ryhme:That is the lot of many on here. Any opinion contrary to theirs is seen as being motivated by hate. Instead of countering opinions with intellect and grace, they resort to shades and childish tantrums. |
oscarjulliet:It's okay Just check the link l provided above and see the results(the accurate sniper positions) Then tell us how many you were able to spot correctly out of the 16. Mine is 7/16 Glad to know you like the game Keep it up. |
Iffa hear! That is how they told us they would get rid of police check-points and N50 egunje ![]() |
ziqqz:Bro, you are right, but it's like that everywhere, not just naija |
DIIGZ:Is their any town that accommodates only the indigene? ![]() |
emperormero:Nice dropping by. Check your results in the link provided. l wish to know how many you are able to spot out of the 16 pictures. More power to your elbow ![]() |
UjSizzle:Kudos sister! l am very glad someone understood and enjoyed the game. It's a bit sad others can't seem to get it despite all the explanations and rephrasing. Mine was 7, by the way ![]() Cheers. |
lifestyle1:Thanks again for your understanding. ![]() |
soe:Kudos bro, you seem to be among the very few to understand and enjoy the game. |
Bluetooth2:I understand, maybe the title is a bit misleading, but that is almost the same title used in every other website this game was played and people didn't have problems with the game. Anyway, l have rephrased the mission /goal of the game. The mission now is: Guess The Position of the Sniper in Each Picture. l wanted to change the title but the platform resisted every attempt...probably because the thread is now on the front page. |
lifestyle1:Thanks bros mi |
Slimzjoe:I never said l saw the whole sniper. That is not the goal here. The goal is to give away the sniper's position |
felifeli:All right. Suit yourself. |
chigo93:I didn't take the pictures neither did l mark the position of the snipers myself. These pictures were taking at a real sniper training exercise. The are real training materials for trainee snipers. Would have posted a link to confirm that, but it would ruin the game for those who really want to play it |
usbcable:Great! At least you tried playing the game, unlike many who have been treating the thread and the Op with scorn. |
felifeli:If you say so. ![]() In other websites l saw the game, people thoroughly enjoyed it and were asking for more pictures to try out However, on here people are not enjoying it because they refuse to show interest and concentration. You are not meant to see a full grown man holding a rifle, but you can spot his position. We are talking about real snipers here, not children playing hide and seek. I managed to spot 7 out of the whole 16. So, l guess nothing is wrong with my head. Thanks for dropping by. |
Burger01:You won't see them clearly, but you can spot their position if you look clearly with interest and concentration |
lifestyle1:Remember my very first statement. You are ruining the whole thing by posting pictures. Not good for others who want to play the game. l would appreciate it if you remove these pictures Thank you. |
1stola:OK. Suit yourself. |
kenex4ever:OK. At least you tried l could not give away clues because that would betray the whole idea of the game. These are real snipers, nobody would give you a clue about their position. You figure it out yourself, or you are dead (in real life) Anyway, I am glad some people find the game interesting and are enjoying it. Nice of you to have given it a shot ![]() |
