luvmijeje:l was referring to the general assumption that buhari is out for witch-hunting. |

luvmijeje:Nigerians really have no issues with suspected corrupt officials being probed and jailed (if found guilty) However, what they can't stand is hypocrisy, injustice and vendetta. Both the Apc and Pdp have corrupt officials, and as long as both sets of officials on either side are probed and jailed, Nigerians will welcome it; celebrate it even But if only officials of the previous administration are being probed while the likes of Tinubu, Atiku,Obj etc walks free, then there is no other way to see it except as hypocrisy/ double standards, injustice and vendetta. The fight against corruption can only be taken seriously if it cuts both ways( Apc and Pdp) - no quarter given, no mercy shown, nobody spared! Otherwise, it's all hogwash! And everybody knows it. |
madridsta007:Bro, no need preaching to a naive sycophant. Buhari is a good man who means well for this country, but some ignorant sycophants calling themselves his supporters have ended up making him an object of ridicule to those who don't want him to succeed. My only joy is that this man is nothing like these immature sycophants...he has class, maturity, integrity and honesty these sycophants seriously lack. |
Adminisher:Yes, quite unlike his NL supporters who lie through their teeth, thereby bringing a good and well-meaning man to ridicule. |
kokoA:Nigerians really have no issues with suspected corrupt officials being probed and jailed (if found guilty) However, what they can't stand is hypocrisy, injustice and vendetta. Both the Apc and Pdp have corrupt officials, and as long as both sets of officials on either side are probed and jailed, Nigerians will welcome it; even celebrate it. But if only Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is jailed while the likes of Tinubu, Atiku,Obj etc walks free, Nigeria, like someone above said, will cease to exist. This is no chest-beating ; l don't even support either party - this is simply the reality given how Nigerians react to national issues with excessive sentiments |
deniyor:stop relegating responsibility. stop blaming the previous regime. The same thing was asked of the previous government...because it was their responsibility at the time to ensure security. The present government and their supporters should quit the blame game and sit up to their responsibility. By your logic if you were made the new CEO of a company, and your employees are complaining about poor working conditions, you'd tell them to blame your predecessor for their plight. Why then were you appointed? To earn a bigger salary or to find solutions to problems? |
Flashh:l am not supporting Jonathan, but he is no longer the president...Buhari is. Jonathan should have done better but it is no longer his problem now. Nigerians know only Buhari, so all complaints and blames should be rightly laid at his doorstep. |
Keneking:Here's to hoping that these equipment don't end up in the hands of Boko Haram criminals |
demmy0325:Been hearing that since 2009 AD! |
babydioku:Nne idi oku na eziokwu! You are the only source of joy on this sad thread. |
Pheals:Yoruba for...?? |

NnamdiN:My major concern is even the fact that they left husband's corpse for HOURS with the living wife before she finally died. Gross!!! |
blogoratti:l feel you. |
Loveren: Oh boy, you funny. Please spare her, not her fault. Ladies always see the romantic side of things no matter how bad that thing is. And if you ask me, I'd say that's the spirit ![]() |
Adaobi12:Hmmm...ok o! But no be your childhood friend na ![]() |
cheerokee:Amen o! Can you imagine the embarrassment?! |
steryj:True that. |
NnamdiN:I thought the same, bro but you never know. |
1, The Judge: Mindy Glazer. 2, Suspect: Arthur Booth Chai, l can't imagine the embarrassment! Your childhood playmate, a high court judge. You, a criminal!!! SMH

An unexpected class reunion occurred inside the unlikeliest of places - a criminal courtroom! Florida judge, Mindy Glazer, was presiding over the case of a man arrested for burglary and theft on Thursday. But she suddenly realized she had seen the man before - years ago in middle school. The judge and the suspect had once been playmates at Nautilus Middle School. Asking the suspect standing before her if he had attended the same middle school she did, the man instantly perked up and seemed to recognize the judge. The suspect breaks into a huge smile when he spots his old pal. But then remembering the embarrassing circumstances of their reunion, he immediately breaks down and repeatedly wails, 'Oh, my goodness! Oh, my goodness!' The rest of the heartrending story here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3148082/Tearful-reunion-Burglary-suspect-emotional-breakdown-realizes-judge-presiding-case-middle-school-pal.html

muafrika:Na poverty. If you follow the link you will find out that he had sold 2 similar letters for $15,000 before this one; and he has many more. Talk about assets ![]() |
Sagamite: ![]() ![]() Na so life they sweet you?? |
Babe2sure:Sure. That is what marriage should be all about - enduring love to the end. Sadly, many children of nowadays don't even last up to a year in marriage. We now value weddings and engagements more than marriage, forgetting they are two totally different things. |
MosakuAW:The thing is, how would you know who is spreading it intentionally? HIV keeps spreading because many people don't know they are infected. Even those who know will deny ever knowing their status. |
The legendary late British actor, Christopher Lee (Saruman in LOTR trilogy), was married for 54 years! When he was asked the secret behind his long-lived marriage, the interviewer was expecting a long list of romantic moves (like you see everyday on here), instead, Christopher Lee simply said, " marry someone wonderful".

A poignant photo has emerged which shows an elderly couple who were married for 75 years fulfilling their final wishes to die together. Jeanette Toczko, 96, and her 95-year-old husband, Alexander Toczko, from San Diego, California, died just hours apart as they held hands in bed. The pair spent their lives in love after becoming boyfriend and girlfriend when they were only eight years old. But several weeks ago, Mr Toczko suffered a broken hip in a fall and was left bed-bound A local hospice delivered a special bed to his home, which staff pushed up next to his beloved wife's bed. As Mr Toczko's condition quickly declined, Mrs Toczko's own health took a turn for the worse. The couple had always said they wished to die 'in their own bed, holding hands, in each other's arms' Read their beautiful story here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3147837/PICTURED-dying-embrace-husband-wife-married-75-years-died-just-hours-apart-held-hands-bed.html
