vicadex07:That's naija journalism for you. Every report is a lie or half truth |
Since Osama died, nobody remembers Al-qaeda They are simply jealous. |

omasiagu:Not so fast, brother Buhari's failure is your failure, because he is protecting your interests...the economy, jobs, healthcare, education and other dividends of democracy. So be careful what you wish for. You don't make an investment in a company and wish that company folds. |
Being handsome and introverted is a lethal combination - a curse! When you have these two opposing attributes, life becomes full of fear and anxiety. The reason is people have high expectations of you, but you hardly deliver, making them label you " handsome for nothing" You will hear things like, " that one? Forget, na only fine him fine, him no sabi anything!" Even the ladies would be like, " that one? Na handsome face l go chop? Person wey no sabi how to groove & chop life. Abegi!! Good looks is only a blessing when you are extroverted. Yes, I am talking from experience. |
IdisuleOurOwn:So am I. |
tpiander:Well not in that sense, some people with HIV knowingly have unprotected sex with others simply because the want maximum enjoyment. Everybody hates condoms |

aguiyi1:Guy, you must really hate Obama ![]() He is the president of America NOT Africa. Africans did not vote him into power so he owes them nothing special The problem of illegal African migrants is the fault of African heads of state who have impoverished their people through megalomania, corruption and wars. Blame them NOT Obama. Only Africa can solve Africa's problem not the west. What has Africa done with trillions of dollars in aid from time immemorial?? Always begging for help Always crying that America has abandoned us, but when they want to intervene (aside doling out cash) we remember we are a sovereign nation. Obama can't be blamed for all the ill in the world, he is not God! |
aguiyi1:I'm no Obama fan but saying terrorism grew under him is a bit far-fetched Terrorism has been evolving and expanding since its inception Under him, Al-Qaeda was on the back burner before the emergence of ISIS . ISIS emerged partly because of the power vacuum created in Iraq after the withdrawal of US troops( a part of his campaign promises) which the American public hailed. The war in Syria all weakened the regional powers making it easy for ISIS Yes, Obama can do much better, but blaming him solely for the growth of terrorism is a bit unfair. Left to me l would say terrorism is growing because the Islamic world and the world powers are merely observing rather than taking action 20 years from now long after Obama is gone from power, terrorism will be more sophisticated than now. Would you say terrorism grew under George Bush?? After all terrorism, as we know it today, wasn't like that under Clinton and Bush Sr What would he have done differently; so I can get a better understanding of your argument. As for immorality, ummh...I don't understand what you mean by that. |
WITH commencement of implementation of Ondo State government’s HIV Anti-stigma Law, a 10-year jail term, fine of N500,000 or both awaits anyone, who transmits the virus to another person. Giving details of the law which was signed last year, the Secretary to the State Government, Aderotimi Adelola, stated that the stigmatisation and discrimination discourages individuals infected with and affected by HIV from accessing health and social services, hence, the law stipulates further that anybody who discriminates against people living with disease commits an offence and is liable to fine of N100,000.00 or imprisonment of six months or both. bushdoc9919:l have a good knowledge of both prisons Was only using them as references on how high-risk inmates should be handled by a sane government. I'm glad you mentioned the protests in Kansas; that justifies the Anambra protests. |
First off, swear you wouldn't feel uncomfortable if these mindless monsters were dumped in the city you or your loved ones are staying. Second, say in all honesty you will not support any protests to ensure that doesn't happen. Third, nobody says the FG can't relocate prisoners to any of their prisons; the problem is the said Anambra prisons are no where near high security! It's a terrible risk, given the high incidence of bloody jailbreaks associated with these monsters; coupled with the fact that these prisons are all in some of the most populated territories in the state. Developed countries usually house their high profile inmates in HIGH SECURITY island or desert prisons - away from the populace eg Guantanamo bay and the defunct Alcatraz. Do you think they are stupid? Don't let prejudice becloud your better judgment |
amnesty7:Have you ever asked yourself why developed countries house their high profile prisoners on islands and deserts - far away from populated areas?? Have you ever heard of Guantanamo bay and Alcatraz?? Please don't be naive. |

Dear Abongo, Hey there, brother! How are you faring these days. I received your postcard, along with the news that you've found a new wife. Man, I must say you don't fool around! Please write and tell me more about her. A photo would also be nice, although I have no doubt that she is beautiful. How is it otherwise being at home? I hope everyone is well, in good health and in good spirits. I understand that you have bought some property, and that you brought over a vehicle from the UK after all. Any other business ventures? I'm very eager to hear about everything, and trust that your hard work and planning will pay off in the near future. As for me, I am very busy these days. As you can see, the book is finished and in the bookstores, so I have been going to various bookstores to talk about the book. In addition, some colleagues of mine here have talked me into running for the Illinois State Senate (like being an MP for a province, not the national United States Congress in D.C.) I have agreed, since I have an interest in politics to deal with some of the serious issues blacks face here. Of course, it involves a lot of campaigning, going to meetings and so on, which I don't find so attractive. Anyway, if I win it will only be a part-tine post, and I will continue my work as a lawyer. Michelle is fine, also busy with her work. My mum's health has stabilized for now, but she is by no means cured and continues to undergo extensive treatment. Maya has gone back to Hawaii for the summer to keep her company, which I think put her in better spirits. Tutu, Maya and Mum all send their love. Please send my love to Bernard, Abo, Sayid, Abongo, Silpa, Granny, your mum, and all the rest of the family. I have sent an extra, paperback version of the book to be passed around if anyone else is interested. I hope to hear from you soon, with news of happiness and success. Much love - Barack http://pagesix.com/2015/06/27/obamas-half-brother-sells-revealing-letter-from-president/?_ga=1.29174911.25080731.1435434381

By Bose Adelaja There was panic, Monday, in Igbogbo, a suburb of Ikorodu, following the death of its traditional ruler, Oba Johnson Fatola whose death was announced around 6pm. He was aged 80. Residents were said to have made several calls to friends and family members to hurry home for fear of street urchins taking advantage of the situation to wreak havoc in the community. Vanguard gathered that as at 7pm, as many shops were closed as people ran dear lives, while commercial drivers abandoned major routes for fear of vandalisation . As at the time of this report, members of the Oba’s family could not be reached for confirmation of the death of the monarch, but a palace source said Oba Fatola had been hospitalised for two weeks. Oba of Igbogbo is survived by a widow and children. The Special Adviser to the Senate President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu, on Sunday clarified that his boss, Senator Bukola Saraki, never claimed that he stepped down for President Muhammadu Buhari, as being interpreted by the Presidency. Olaniyonu, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone on Sunday, explained that what the Senate President said during an interactive session with journalists in Abuja on Saturday was that he dropped his presidential ambition, once President Buhari announced his intention to contest the 2015 presidential election. The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, had on Saturday said there was no truth in the claim by Saraki that he stepped down for President Buhari in the APC presidential race. Adesina, had in an interview withThePunch, said the issue of stepping down did not arise, because the party conducted a free and fair presidential primary which Buhari won. Spot on. Not just clothes, all items of fashion can put your life at risk. Read about fashion victims: https://www.nairaland.com/2404794/fashion-victims-health-hazards-historys |
I'm not trying to ridicule the APC, but it seems everyone is confused in this dispensation. Nigerians are confused. The press is confused. Even government officials seem confused! Everyday; measures and counter- measures Actions and counter-actions Statements and rebuttals Accusations and denials. The list goes on and on. It doesn't help when you have so many media aides serving a single official...media assistant, adviser, "encourager" etc [with each designated as - senior, "junior", special, "ordinary"] Does it mean the ADC didn't know the normal protocol or directive concerning this issue?? There appears to be a disconnect or breach in communication somewhere along the chain of command, and the entire power structure Patiently waiting for this publication to be refuted...as usual. God help us all. |
PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief Security Officer, Abdulrahman Mani, has revoked the order by the Aide-De-Camp to the President, Lt.-Col. Lawal Abubakar, removing operatives of the Department of State Services from giving Buhari close body protection.http://www.punchng.com/news/presidents-protection-cso-revokes-adcs-order-to-dss-officials/#disqus_thread |
Toks2008:What makes you think they have not talked about this issue over and over again. The girl didn't even help matters by having multiple shortcomings as the guy mentioned in the ad. When a lady repeatedly nags about one thing , and she herself happens to be full of flaws , then a man is better off without her . |
