It will interest you to know that despite these horrific injuries, there have been only 15 recorded deaths since 1924!

I was reading about some world's extreme festivals when l came across the Spanish San Fermin Festival - Running of the Bulls

l have always known about it, with all the attendant injuries and occasional deaths, but l never knew the extent of the injuries till l did a little digging online.

Now, after seeing these images, l could not help but wonder whether to call this a festival or sheer madness!

Michigan native Iris Kyle is already a bodybuilding legend.
She’s won Ms. Olympia 5 times in a row (2006-10) and 6 times (2004)

She’s also won the sport’s other premier event, the Ms. International, a whopping 7 times (2004, 2006-11).

Kim Chizevsky

Illinois-born Kim Chizevsky has one of the most impressive (and famous) bodies of any female builder.
If “Schwarzeneggerian” isn’t a word, it should be.

Appropriately enough, she won first place in the Ms. Olympia contest four years in a row.

• Yolanda Hughes

Yolanda Hughes turned pro in 1992 by winning the IFBB World Amatuer Titles and went on to win the 1997 and 1998 Arnold Classic Champion and also made six Olympia appearances.

Through her pro career she competed strictly in either the Arnold or the Olympia, never variating to other shows for female bodybuilders.

• Reneé Toney

Renné Toney officially has the largest biceps of any woman in the world.

In February 2006, Toney’s biceps were measured at the Arnold Classic Expo.

Officials measured her right biceps at 20″ and her left biceps at 20 ¼”. She achieved her physique after 20 years of training.

• Nicole Bass

Self-proclaimed “Largest Woman Bodybuilder in the world today.”

Nicole is an American bodybuilder, actress, professional wrestler and valet previously working for companies such as Extreme Championship Wrestling, WWE, XPW, and the National Wrestling Alliance.
