1. Nobody is asking Buhari to reel out his assets one by one but to relase a soft copy of the asset declared publicly and the talk about releasing it before the 100 day mark is pure bunkum bc if the CCB does not finish the verification before then what happens?
2. Buhari had the luxury of clear and unimpeded 8 weeks before inaurguration to identify, consult and negotiate his team with other stakeholders but bungled the opportunity, yet you his followers praise his ineptitude
3. His international trips are either here nor there except this German trip. This is because what promise does he want to extract from Niger and Chad that GEJ has not extracted or what cooperation does he want again that those nations are not giving especially now that the BH guys are buffetting them
You dont handle external matters first before internal issues. Let no one call me a TANOID or whatever appellation you attach to anyone with contrary view |

So, what is wrong in GEJ attending every church?. What makes Buhari's mosque going more appropriate?. You, Buhari's blind followership are pure hypocrites and truly you disgust rational people. Truly, I agree with you on the fact that they didn't lose on those lies but you will also realize that they lost because they were never supposed to have won in the first place. When a party decides to ride in arrogance and flagrant abuse of power and lack of internal democracy, they deserve to lose. I don't shed a tear for them but I want you to realize that Nigerians have become far more sophisticated than ever before and as such Buhari should be ready for the warts and all that come with acquiring power |

PassingShot: Keep the attack coming. But remember that at the end of the four year term, it is the overall achievement Nigerians will be interested in. Not these distractions of TANoids/PDP.
When all is said and done, sensible Nigerians will look at: 1. Provision of power - how they met it and how they've improved it. 2. Corruption - on the high side or greatly reduced. 3. NNPC/refineries - do we still import our fuel or refine locally. 4. Unemployment rate compared to what they met 5. infrastructural development 6. Insecurity - Boko Haram It is not an attack if it is true. What I am saying in plain language is never lie to portray the opposition or the Leaders in bad light. It always comes back to bite. When I remember all the lies APC and PDP put out during the campaigns, I shuddered because whatever you sow, you must definitely reap |

Not All That Ask Are Enemies
Our President has faced a barrage of criticisms and accusations in his first few days in office. Ranging from the outrageous to the mundane, he has been accused of discourteously leaving his guests to attend Friday Jumaat prayers on inauguration day; influencing the court to drop corruption charges against his political associate; failing to publicly declare his assets as he promised during campaigns; encouraging wastage of resources by duplicating functions for his first set of appointees; etc. Even our first lady has not been spared as she has been accused of wearing an expensive wrist watch to his inauguration - allegedly a sign of opulence considered inconsistent with his austere reputation. It would even seem that PMB is receiving more "bashing" from some of his most ardent supporters.
What I find interesting is not the accusations but the reactions of some of "my people" in a bid to defend our beloved president. From my humble standpoint, I have seen more emotional and irrational outbursts than helpful engagements of the issues by followers attempting to put up a defense. Some cannot just stomach the fact that our highly revered president is being denigrated by commoners on social media. While I agree that some of these issues are needless distractions coming from familiar quarters, they can't be ignored else they become bigger distractions further into the administration's lifespan. I have come to learn that rumours cannot be wished away, they have to be decisively addressed - on time! For example, there is a claim out there that a suicide bomber chanted "Sai Buhari"!, before detonating a bomb in the Northeast on Tuesday, killing several Nigerians. It has been several hours since this was reported on some online news platforms, and subsequently bandied around by some antagonists on social media, yet we have no refutation from "us". It doesn't have to be reported in traditional media before we reiterate PMB's condemnation of the reprehensible actions of the extremists.
My token advice to the president's media team as they settle down in office is that they have no time to settle down. As someone said on facebook, the Buhari team has auditioned for this job for twelve years and issued the notice of employment for two clear months before resumption, we have no reason not to perform. They have to proactively make available accurate information and allow no vacuum for rumours and half-truths to fester. They should consider every accusation raised against their principal as an opportunity to present facts, clarifications and superior arguments that will reinforce his goodwill with the majority. PMB is not infallible and should not be projected so. When mistakes are made by him or those under his watch, they should speedily admit the errors, decisively separate the principal from the mess and ensure the erring parties are resolutely dealt with in keeping with the law. Making this point reminds me that amongst many of former president Dr. Goodluck Jonathan's public engagement gaffes was patting former Minister of Interior, Mr. Abba Moro on the back inspite of the NIS recruitment scandal that occasioned the death of many young people. Indeed many of the former president's appointees caused more deficits to his public image than good.
Those of us that believe in and determinedly support our president to succeed need the right ammunition to fight the battle for the hearts and minds of Nigerians. We need to be armed with facts and contexts within which we can help frame the narrative about every single action this president and his administration is going to take - many of which may be unpopular, or cause short term inconvenience in order to achieve long term benefits. It is too early to be responding by abusing people. I just read an outburst on the page of a dedicated supporter of PMB in which she was more or less warning a blogger that his misleading post about the president could lead to his being arrested for falsehood. Haba! The prison cells we will need to keep all Nigerians who abused former president Jonathan would take up half of Nigeria's landmass. That is not the way to go.
I reiterate, let us provide timely and accurate updates on the activities of government, and when rumours are spun to distract his focus, let us similarly respond on time, with facts and clarifications, and in a tone that reminds that we are in charge. Let us make use of the most valuable communication resource PMB and his administration has - the love and goodwill of the majority who are willing (at no cost) to disseminate communication messages within their circles of influence. Not everyone that asks questions or challenges actions taken by PMB are his enemies, some simply want to be re-assured that in the corridors and chambers of power, where sycophants abound and truthful counsel is rare, the bearer of their mandate is staying true to the ideals that made them vote for him. Sensible article. However, like they say karma doesn't recognize remedial actions of voodoo and spirited defense, because it must surely happen. When your lying and concocting machine of propaganda was spewing out its venom, we appealed that it should not be part of your trademark but you refused. Now, it is your turn, deal with it. Enjoy your time in the sun |

cramjones: I read with utter shock that Pastor E. A Adeboye donated an Ambulance to Israel: Here is the link to the story, and pictures posted.\ http://lindaikeji..com/2015/05/photos-pastor-adeboye-donates-ambulance.html#more
To highlight the stupidity of this donation, let us look at the statistics of Israel compared to Nigeria.
This is a quote from Wikipedia on Israeli's ambulance services for a population of just 7 million people compared to Nigeria's 180 million.
1. While the MDA currently has approximately 1,200 medics, paramedics and emergency physicians on staff, it still relies heavily on over 12,000 volunteers who serve in both operational and administrative capacities. The organization operates 95 stations with a fleet of over 728 ambulances. The majority of the fleet consists of Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances. These are supplemented by Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances, mobile intensive care units (MICU) and a variety of first responders. This means about 1 ambulance per 9000 people
Meanwhile according Vconnect Nigeria only has about 62 ambulance services, which has no central coordination. No data exist on number of paramedics in Nigeria. There are no defibrillators ALL Nigerian teaching hospitals. Making it 1 ill equiped ambulance/2.9 million people compared to Israel's 1 ambulance/9000 people.
2. According to Peer review article in the New England Journal of Medicine Road fatalities in Nigeria is 425 per 100,000 people per year. While that of Israel is 9.5 per 100,000 people per year.
3. If Pastor Adeboye have a heart attack or a stroke (God forbid) in Nigeria, he is as good as dead, because there are no places in the country that can take care of him optimally or an ambullance that will come to his rescue in 5 minutes. Even if there is, I bet they do not have defibrillators or emergency surgical kit. The Israeli's must be saying "Look at these dumb Africans".
4. My prayer is for African to start getting some sense. Hopefully we would. Good radiance to bad rubbish!
-CramJones

For your necessary education, the Redeemed Christian Church of God donated more than 2 Billion Naira to various communities in Nigeria aside from interventions from the local churches in their communities in the year 2012. Regarding this matter, Google is your friend. You come to the Internet to castigate someone who has been in the forefront of community service when you were still in your diapers and think you and your irascible and imbecilic followers who are agents of the devil can escape being spurned some home truths.. Image123: This has already been well answered by someone else who reminded us all that Bornu state is under State of Emergency and therefore a chief responsibility of the Federal Government. Also, this is a Boko Haram issue, meaning that it should be spear-headed by the Federal Government, not the state government. Terrorists and Militants like the Niger-Delta militants are chiefly a responsibility of the FG as they are national issues. In fact, the FG often tries to remind the world that Boko Haram is even an international issue. The FG neglected and denied the Chibok kidnap, that is why they had to be jolted out of their deep coma and inefficiency by the global BBOG campaign. Secondly, the claim of the man from Maiduguri is something that goes down to several decades of neglect, so to try to pin it down to Obasanjo wasn't too nice of him. Good thing that Oby threw it back to him. Blaming every other person except yourself is never a good sign, Oby simply reminded us all that our Local governments and State governments also have a role to play, infact a closer role. She stated that with the facts and figures that they get a large percentage of the allocations.
Do you have a problem with Oby or any critic being honest or giving praise where due? It's unfortunate many PDP loyalists and even today's society thinks that a critic must criticize everything. No, and i hope the opposition doesn't do that. BTW, Oby has a degree in Law and Diplomacy. One has to be diplomatic especially before the international media. A good family, friendship, even organisation will 'fight'and tell themselves the truth internally, but will stand and defend/protect themselves outside. If Oby comes to Nigeria and is hard on our leaders and telling them the truth, it doesn't mean she must go outside Nigeria to go and expose our dirty linens to AlJazeera and millions of other nationals who form their perception from hearsay. International perception is important, our passport and nationality is currently at a low. i remember Dora and the Yaradua govt spending so much trying to re-brand us before the eyes of the world. So, Oby would not be very wise to go and tell the world that we are corrupt and clueless and a failure. Yes, the GEJ administration has some positives but they clearly have not done enough to be re-elected. A patriot and a sound critic wouldn't do things that would encourage people to vote them in again. GEJ has not done enough to fight corruption, simples. He is not justified. Nobody denied that he is using technology.
No, no, no. The only acknowledgement is of course the FACT that we have changed position on Transperency International's ratings. That's a fact, it will be foolish and madness not to acknowledge facts. BTW, do you know that Oby is one of the main founders of Transparency International(TI)? Factor that as well. But in reality, we know that we have not made any TREMENDOUS progress, it is just a matter of perception and re-branding. Do a little research into how TI does their rankings, it is very debateable. It is a fact that GEJ is corrupt and the nation's reserves have being depleted. Anybody that says that is telling the truth, even if the devil says it. The fact is the fact, ask Okonjo-Iweala, our reserves are being depleted.
The ruling elite have failed collectively, or do you think otherwise? What do you mean by sense of connection? What does someone do to have a sense of connection? Is it buying Boli while campaigning like Omisore of Osun State? Or sharing rice and chicken like Diezani and Fayose? Is that connection to the grassroot? Please can you explain with example(s)? Does GEJ being the Chief Security Officer abdicate Shettima's role in making those Children stay in School after they have been warned that the area wasn't safe to conduct the Examination? In your wisdom, because something goes back several decades, we shouldn't hold the leaders responsible including Jonathan? You seem to have forgotten that the World is a global village, whatever happens in Nigeria never stays in Nigeria again. Whether OBY patronize them or not, these People know what is happening here Obviously, GEJ has not done enough to fight corruption but which Government in time past has done enough of anything. We have had leadership deficit in Nigeria since inception Our Nation's reserves depletion had nothing to do with corruption but they were used to defend the Naira against falling too low against the dollar. Foreign reserves are what countries use to finance imports by trading them on the foreign exchange market |

WilyWily: [b]How Awolowo committed suicide – By Abdulmumini Adeku
Twenty –three years after he suddenly was reported dead of natural cause and two years shy of his golden jubilee , facts are now emerging on the reasons that led to First and Second Republic political heavyweight ,Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo committing suicide
It was learned that he did it to stem the tide of a possible military court martial into an insurrection he was planning to lead alongside his political associates at the time when it became evident that then Military President ,General Ibrahim Babangida was intending staying in power forever. In a no-hold barred interview with FS Online recently,a grass root politician ,Mr Adebayo Adeyinka who lives within the College Road at Ifako-Ijaiye axis in Ogba ,a suburb of Lagos, Nigeria was livid with rage when he learned that a key politician connected to the issue was denying the incident.
He revealed that Chief Awolowo wanted to lead some kind of guerilla warfare or militant campaign against the government of President Babangida so that he can be overthrown through a popular or people -led putsch. According to him , the Elder Statesman summoned a meeting of his core loyalists over the issue and this was even filmed so as to strengthen the extent of commitment of each of the politician that attended the meeting.. He pointed out that however unknown to all of those who were privy to this meeting and clarion call , Chief Lateef Kayode Jakande ,Former Executive Governor of Lagos State had a different plan as he betrayed them to the military .He Said:’ But unknown to them , Chief Jakande was planning to betray them, he went to President Ibrahim Babangida and promptly showed him the tape
“Papa Awolowo was invited for a meeting with President Ibrahim Babangida who was then staying at Dodan Barracks which was the seat of power as at then and the truth of his clandestine meetings was revealed to him by the gap –toothed General
“He gave Papa some options and that was for him to be ready to face a court martial , be ready to go to a prison or better still go on exile “At this stage Papa felt instead of allowing some ambitious khaki boy to mess him up he should just pack it in and call it a day ,so Chief Awolowo decide to commit suicide so as to save himself from the ignominy of going to prison for the second time in his lifetime .
“But before he did this he called his core loyalists for a meeting ,before then he had called up Late Chief Bola Ige [Cicero],since the latter had a very strong understanding of the Hausa Language having had his formative years as a young man in Kaduna but discovered that the late Esa-Oke strongman was innocent after he was interrogated by Papa
“He called others for enquiries while asking them to tender the video cassettes of the meeting they all attended to discuss the plans to topple President Babangida for examination ,at this juncture Chief Jakande developed a cold feet as he could not produce his own copy of the video which was freely distributed to all that was present at the meeting previously before the betrayal and that was how the cat was let out of the bag
“So he cursed him at this point and pointed out that he will never have any form of relevance politically as far as Nigeria was concerned and till today members of the Awolowo Dynasty avoids him like a plague. “I was their when the letter he wrote to the family to beg them for forgiveness over the unfortunate incident was read in the presence of all present ,if he continues to deny I am ready to confront him publicly again on the same issue as I can even remember that elders asked him to go to the grave of the late sage to plead for forgiveness “When he was questioned he lied that the National Security Organization now State Security Services had visited his house to check on him and in the process took the tape in question but” Awoists” knew that this was a very weak argument as he did not inform their political group of this development before their enquiry on the subject “That was how Senator Abraham Adesanya assumed the leadership of the Awolowo camp of Yoruba politics after the demise of the man ,he was not even so close to Awolowo during his lifetime like Chief Jakande and that was why many called him Baba Kekere on account of this cosy relationship “Before he gave up the ghost , he said his prayers and then took the poison which killed him almost immediately but the public was not fully aware as they were given a different account of what happened. “We were simply told that he died while he was brushing his teeth in his bathroom at his Park Lane,Apapa residence here in Lagos “He was stupendously wealthy during his lifetime, infact there is know company at Oba Akran in Ikeja ,Lagos where he does not have at least a five percent equity, Dideolu Court in Ogba alone cannot be valued at less than N10 Billion ,that was the place that he had in mind to be his Seat of power if he was elected as Nigeria’s President. ‘He owned Shonibare Estate but the man he was using as a front and who later went to prison over some issues which Awolowo himself was privy to eventually laid claim to the estate
“He got all of this wealth due to a great measure of goodwill and tax waivers he gave to investors whenever they come to establish their business. “Anytime you buy a bottle of Coca-Cola you are enriching the Awolowo Dynasty ,go to Ijebu Ikenne and you will discover that the price of a bag cement there is different from other parts of the nation due to the subsidy that the citizens enjoy on account of Awolowo who was their son and I hope you know that West African Portland Cement is in Ewekoro and not Ikenne.
“On account of this great betrayal Awolowo family members regard the “Awoist” as a group people should deal with using a long spoon till this day and this explains why when The Peoples Democratic Party Government gave some of them political appointment lately they accepted it without thinking twice. “Dr Tokunbo Awolowo-Dosunmu was made an Ambassador by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo while , Mr Segun Awolowo Jnr was given a plum job at the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja as a Secretary. “Recently when Afenifere was disintegrating Mama out of concern for her husband’s legacies decided to call a truce because as she puts it then, she did not know what she was going to tell her husband the day they meet in heaven “He made Sijuwade rich , because he was his business associate and in fact some of us held very strong views that he was one of his fronts and later the same man became the Ooni of Ife”he added
Mr Adebayo Adeyinka recalled his several years of following grass root politics right from the days of Action Group to the Unity Party of Nigerian era in the second republic but now lamented that he had since lost all interest in partisan politics due to the massive corruption in our polity.
He listed such blue chips like Dunlop Nigeria Plc ,Guinness Nigeria Plc, Neimeth Pharmaceutical Nigeria Plc ,May and Baker Nigeria Plc ,Vitafoam Nigeria Plc ,Wahum Nigeria Limited ,CAP Nigeria Plc , International Paints of West Africa [IPWA], Berger Paints Nigeria Plc ,Berec Nigeria Limited ,Kabelmetal, Nigeria Bottling Company Plc ,Leventis Nigera Plc ,West African Portland Cement Company,[Lafarge ],Wema Bank Nigeria Plc, Scoa Nigeria Plc ,CFAO Nigeria Plc, Cadbury Nigeria Plc ,Wemaboard Estates, Odu’A Group, Livestock Feeds Nigeria Plc , Nigerian Breweries Plc as places the Awolowo family have commercial interest to mention just a few.
Apart from this stocks analysts believe that the most visible of his investment ,The Nigerian Tribune Newspapers cannot be valued at less than N100billion today in terms of brand evaluation as Thisday Newspapers was valued by the Owner ,.Mr Nduka Obaigbena at N200 Billion recently during a media chart while celebrating his fiftieth birthday sometimes last year.
Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was a leader who believed that the state should channel Nigeria’s resources into education and state –led infrastructural development.
At his own expense albeit controversially ,he introduced the free primary education for all of the Western Region ,he equally established the first television service in Africa in 1959 and expanded electrification projects in the region using the proceeds from the highly lucrative Cocoa export industry.
The Cocoa House in Ibadan regarded by many as one of the major landmarks of Nigeria’s architectural history was built as a result of his economic blueprint which was targeted towards the emancipation of his people from poverty He built the first stadium in West Africa , the Liberty Stadium ,Ibadan and he coined the name “Naira “for Nigeria’s official currency ,it was previously called Nigerian Pounds. During the 1970’s ,he was very critical of Nigeria’s military expenditure insisting that more should be spent on development He ran a free health care programme for children up till the age of eighteen years .
On his death on the 9th of May,1987 as a mark of respect for his legacies ,The University Of Ile-Ife which ironically he helped to build as Premier of the Old Western Nigeria was re-named in his honour as part of a post humous celebration of his life and times. His portraits adorn public places in Nigeria especially in his native Yoruba land where he is seen as an icon. His picture also adorn Nigeria’s one hundred naira note. He has been described surprisingly by some of his greatest critics and even political opponents as probably the Best President Nigeria never had. He struck a chord with the womenfolk during his lifetime when in a rare show of public affection for his wife of several years, Chief Mrs Hannah Dideolu Awolowo told the world that the woman was his jewel of inestimable value. How right or prophetic he was because his wife has continued to strengthen the mileage of the husband’s name even in death.
During an exclusive interview with FS Online at his Ilupeju home in Lagos last year, Chief Lateef Jakande upon being probed with questions over his relationship with Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo on account of what feelers were suggesting had denied that they had a bad relationship shortly before his death. He insisted that those that said that they had any problems between them prior to Chief Awolowo’s death were not been honest as they were all telling lies.[/b] Nice try boy. Even your home boy Chinua Achebe couldn't have written this fictional tale |

This fellow is not worth the paper his Phd is written on. It is either he was awarded honoris casua or that it is Oluwole made like Buhari's statement of result. That said.
Did you watch the original video of the Sunday service?. Where you there at the service or relying on social media accounts. You are such a disappointment to anyone who signed that Phd certificate of yours because a Phd holder should at least have an analytical mind to cross check facts.
The Bishop prayed and I quote that "I declare open the Gates of hell open to anyone disturbing the peace of Nigeria in Jesus name"(paraphrasing).
You are a disgrace to the world of educational pursuits |

Mogidi: Half of those spewing rubbish here either have comprehension problem or are boko haram sympathisers. What is wrong in telling muslims to use superior quranic verses to defeat a muslim terrorist organisation who uses verses from the quran to justify their actions?
Is Pastor Ayo not from the Niger Delta and wasn't he one of the people that continuously cajoled, begged and negotiated the cease fire between the fed and the delta militants?
At the beginning the Imams and political heavyweights from the north saw boko haram as freedom fighters, fighting for the good of Islam. It was ok when bokoharam were targeting churches, schools and any symbol of Christianity. Now the hydra monster they created is beyond control and its now killing muslims who don't agree with their interpretation of the Quran. Boko haram are an Islamic terrorist organisation, they would stop when muslims stop aiding and abetting them. Please, don't mind all these children abusing someone whose shoelace they are unfit to tie. They said that those BH guys killed Muslims and Cleric in the bid to entrench their useless ideology, please, help me ask them, if the people they killed where not rejoicing when they were killing Christians and bombing Churches?. We have a lot of Christians down south, who don't know a jerk about the suffering the Christians in the North go through in the hands of these demonic men but their hormones are fired up when they hear that CAN President makes a comment. I pray that God keeps Pst Ayo because He has performed creditably well since becoming the CAN President |

Why do I think, this poster is a Boko Haram apologist?. Whenever Nigerian Army overcomes Boko Haram, nobody hears as much as a whimper from you and your ilk but when it is the other way round you guys show up to sing Boko Haram's victory.
Sorry to rain on your parade, Nigeria and Nigerians will win this war. |

donphilopus: What's this one saying?! Since you're so daft to read what the Nigerian Constitution has to say on this, Clerverly has copied it here for all to see, yet, you're still here spewing hocus pocus. The HoR members elected him as their Speaker, so if the PDP Reps can lobby well and get up to the required 2/3rd required members [which they can never get] in the House to impeach him, then good and fine!
And if you also think a Northern Rep would move against Tambuwal irrespective of his party affiliation, then you're on a long thing! I guess you lack comprehension abilities. Which Northern Rep will not vote to remove Tambuwal?. Where you dead when when they first moved to APC and moved back. Keep deluding yourself with one North policy. The don of fools |

Pure balderdash as usual as I wasn't expecting something sensible from you in the first place. Maybe you should know that Mr. Speaker is primus interpares that is to say first among equals. He was not elected as a Speaker by his constituents but by his contemporaries and as such PDP has the right to demand his resignation because he was elected Speaker on their bill to the House. Now, juxtapose that with Olusegun Mimiko who was elected Governor by his Counstituents.
You claim Mr. Speaker was voted in by majorly now APC members but does it change the fact that his platform was PDP?. When a Man deals treacherously by being PDP during the day and APC at night, he will soon get his just recompense of reward when he exposes his treacherous hands just as Mr. Speaker will soon experience.
PDP's woes too has just started because you can't fool all the people all the time. Little by little the house built on a pack of lies will soon unravel completely. There is no peace for the wicked |

Truly, Opposition in Nigeria has gone to the dogs. This CramJones moniker is a disgrace to every rational homosapien. Muslims go to Mecca twice a year for Hajj but because GEJ went to Israel twice this year, you are foaming at the mouth. I recognize your right to rant as your inalienable right but when you take it to abysmally low level like this, it then behoves on every sensible persons to call you to order.
You are a disgrace and I will not be surprised if you masturbate with the name of GEJ. Your party, the APC has the franchise of stupidity and it is not rocket science to decipher that frustration will dog your Electoral pursuits in 2015. if hurling abuses at Mr. President can win the election for the Opposition, it would have been a considered route but fortunately it is not abuses but outlining your alternative but credible programmes.
However, GEJ is not our ideal candidate for 2015. I really pray for a Political tsunami to sweep away all these pretenders to the throne and give us someone in the mould of Obafemi Awolowo, Babatunde Fashola, Kwame Nkrumah, Bill Clinton who will lead us to the promise land.
We are tired of Corruption, Terrorism, Economic Stagnation, unemployment but the current pack of jokers projecting themselves as presidential hopefuls are not making the field exciting and captivating. |
