Good . But Nigeria should not continue the practice of push and start to things like this. Payment of allowance and everything due to the players should be automatic and not subjected to Presidents announcement. Approval should have been granted before the start of the tournament and payment released when each milestone is achieved |

Nigeria is trying to move away from container economy into a productive economy. This is why those importers need to start looking for another line of work instead of trying to malign the President or working their arse off to do the impossible of unseating the President |

kolente: PBAT & Governor Sanwolu would be setting one of the worst precedence with this singular act.
It should be condemned in all ramification and it is definately in bad taste with a tribal bias.
All this division started after Peter Obi won the Presidential Elections in Lagos !
Haba ! I am a Yoruba Lagosian, over 80% of my friends are Igbo's and we never lived like this in Lagos State.
3/4 of the commercial activities and SMEs in Lagos as at today is promoted by the Igbo's being commerce centred. We lived as brothers through decades.
Let Government know that the seeds we sow today will germinate for lifetime.
The last LG Elections also showed same pattern with threats and bully of the S/E people with tearing of LP posters in Amuwo Odofin.
We are not like this in Lagos and politicians should not divide us ! Can you show us the street named after other tribes in sad east? |

Politics › Re: Buhari Retained Petrol Subsidy So Nigerians Won’t Die – Ex Minister, Nwajiuba by deji17: 5:17pm On Jul 15, 2025 |
It is just the type of politics we practice in this part of the world. By 2023, there are few rail lines in place, both Federal and state owned. Dangote refinery was ready to roll out production. The CNG was already getting popular . Solar and other source of energy too. What all these mean is that alternative to petrol was already created . So, the background for removing the subsidy which everyone agrees is a drain and stranglehold on our economy was already laid. Unlike in 2012 when most of these measures were not in place. Buhari really tried. The Presidency is a tankless job . But those who know, knows and appreciate his contribution. |

Whose responsibility is this? State, Federal ,Local Govt or is it a private company? I think something is wrong with us as a people. Both the leadership and the led. Imagine the amount of money we have wasted in Dubai and other countries to the extent that they are even making their visa look like entrance to heaven. But we have this treasure here, left to waste. We should all be ashamed of ourselves, starting from our politicians |

Many have relocated back. And the reason why many who wanted to do it, but could not do it, is the shame associated with relocating back, especially if you are not okay finacially . Abroad is actually like Nigeria in terms of who makes it and those who don't make it. There are Nigeria professionals abroad who makes very good money and are financially secured. You also have those who are struggling to afford to live a good life abroad. Vice versa, Nigeria. So, it's not a one cap fit all. Finally, we have many challenges in Nigeria that could make one want to japa or stay "Japaed" |
