Whatever it is the man had done to you, do not let it control you. So not let it blindfold and dampen your heart. In life at times, we are hurt by the very people we love but we should not let that hatred get the better of us. Anybody who offend me or hurt me in any way, I have always learnt to help them wherever way I can even if I still hurt in the inside. With time, that hurt will dissappear. It took a lot of courage to say this, and I feel it was to shame the haters when she was a small girl. Sometimes secrets that have haunted you need to be aired, then you'll find ultimately that it has less power over you, and surprisingly nobody really cares. If someone goes through something like this when they were small, nothing can hurt them in adulthood.
