WebmastersRe: The Poor State Of Nigerian Bank Websites by dejia(m): 6:47pm On May 30, 2007
I think we should not only look at the design but how reliable is there online service.
2 or 3 years ago GTB was given an award with the best internet banking solution and web design, i signed up with them, i hardly get to access my ac. sometimes is just too slow or it gives me an error, but i think its better now.

Oceanic Bank has been very very reliable, when pple pay into my acct from any of there branches i get to view it online in less than 30mins. there site might not be too flashy but as far as i get what i really what i dont care.i have not tried any other bank cos am really cool with Oceanic,
TravelRe: Uk Visa Application (advice Needed) by dejia(m): 4:09pm On May 27, 2007
Let me tell u from my own experience.
I applied at the australian embassy in 2001 in Lagos, i was refused study visa. based on the fact that i didnt have enuff evidence to come back after my study.
i came into south africa and applied 2004( 3yrs after) with another passport but the same name same details but a diffrent school admission, i had scholarship, my bank statement was 5times what was required, all my documents were complete.
On the form I DIDNT indicate that i have applied before. THey trace it and discovered, and i was Refused .i appealed my application was denied.i was refused because i didnt indicate that i applied before.
Look all embassy have an intranet with which they work . immediately you lodge in an application your profile is on there intranet, thats why when u get to the immigration at the point of entry they swipe your passport.( in some countries).
I wont discourage u but i think you have more chances of getting the visa with the previous passport than the new one. just indicate there that u were not aware that the previous bank statement was fake.and pray for Favour.

TravelRe: Nigerians In Argentina And Other Unusual Places by dejia(m): 7:21pm On May 22, 2007
Who says we dont have Nigerians in Afghanistan or North korea? My Brother has a close friend there, One of my neigbours was once in North Korea before she ran back .

Nigerians are everywhere, i went to a town in china its called Hangzhou, for my 1st 4 days i didnt see any black on the 5th day, i was working then a chinese shout look, look at your brother, i was so happy to see the black guy, infact we hugged each other he told me he was from Congo, i asked him he said he has alot of Nigerian friends in the schl. 2days after i met 3 other Nigerians, i doubt it if there is anywhere without Nigerians.
infact there is hardly a University without a Nigerian!

TravelRe: Experience With Immigration When Traveling With Our Nigeria Passport by dejia(m): 8:36pm On May 18, 2007
I was delayed for 6hours on my 1st trip to china, was taking for x-ray at there medical hosiptal.

on my second trip i was delayed as well, infact i had to spark for them, it was just so frustrating communicating to pple who dont understand English, but i dealt with them. i forced them to take me to city which i was going to cos i cldnt catch a bus by the time they finished all there yeye search.infact, they even took me for dinner,

infact i have never had a good experience with my passport, i even bought a black cover to cover the green pali, yet immediately they open it and see Nigeria, its like " OOOOOOOllllllllllllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeee! ( lol)

i have vowed not to nationalise anyway else, i beleive One day One day, V.soon, Nigeria passport will be honoured.

Fellow nairalanders, lets keep using the green pali, atleast let them continue to meet us ( we the good Nigerians). one they will all realise we are not all drugger dealers & smugglers

HI NIGERIANS,
AM A NIGERIAN IN SA, WHEN EVER I GO TO THE BANK AND I BRING OUT MY PASSPORT AS AN IDENTIFICATION, THE TELLER PERSON IMMEDIATELY CALLS THE SUPERVISOR;ITS ALWAYS LIKE , THIS ONE PASS ME
I ONCE WENT TO CHINESE EMBASSY AND WAS TOLD TO GO BACK AND APPLY FROM LAGOS, AFTER SPENDING 4YRS IN SA.
A BROTHER IN MY CHURCH TOO WAS REFER TO GREECE EMBASSY IN NIAJA COS HIS NIGERIAN,
I WAS DELAYED AT THE POINT OF ENTRY IN CHINA ( OF ALL COUNTRIES) FOR 6HOURS, THEY WERE BUSY CHECKING , INFACT THEY TOOK ME FOR AN X-RAY TEST TO SEE IF I HAD DRUG INSIDE OF ME.
I WAS INVITED TO SWISS BY A COMPANY, WENT TO THERE EMBASSY DIS WEEK, THEY LOOK AT ALL MY DOC. AND SAY IT WAS FINE, IMMEDIATELY I BROUGHT OUT MY GREEN PALI, THEY TOLD ME BRUNTLY THAT THEY CANT GIVE ME VISA! AND TOLD ME IF I DROP MY DOCUMENT I WILL JUST SIMPLY GET A REFUSAL STAMP.

WHAT TERRIBLE EXPERINCES HAVE U HAD WITH UR NIJA PASSPORT? WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?OR DO WE ALL NATIONALISE IN OTHER COUNTRIES?
