@skywalker
that is where u all make mistakes, subliminal is one of the aspect of hiphop, u dont need to use diss someone before u use punchlines, wordsplay or metaphors.

when M.I said ur flow is basic mine is acidic does that mean is dissing someone?

em had 3 classic albums slim shady lp, marshal mathers lp, eminem show, and encore which wasnt that great it was ok

for me, 'till i collapse' is the best emine track for lyrics and overall feel, i kinda feel his comedy tracks like this one are made to appeal to a wider audience rather than sticking to his lyrical talent with tracks like, 'the way i am' x

Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rap artist, actor, activist, and poet. He was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the best-selling rap/hip-hop artist ever, having sold over 73 million albums worldwide[2], including over 44.5 million sales in the United States alone. [3] Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up around violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, and sometimes his feuds with fellow rappers. Tupac is known for the political, economic, and racial equality messages in a lot of his work. He has been ranked by many fans, critics, and industry insiders as the greatest rapper ever.

Christianity Etc › Revealed Christians Started Ogboni In Nigeria by dejiariyo(op): 12:56pm On Apr 08, 2009
The venerable Archdeacon, Reverend Thomas Adeshina Jacobson Ogunbiyi was the founder of the ROF. He was born in Isale Eko, Lagos Nigeria. He was the only African archdeacon of the Anglican Communion of his time.

The man was the most distinguished commander of the Britis Empire (BE) as well as the Honourable member of the Legislative Council (MLC). He was also the Licentiate of Theology. He was a spiritual church leader and an innovator who introduced things into the church such as celebration of harvest festival into the Anglican Church in 1910 A.D and at the Holy Trinity Church, Ebute Metta in Lagos State

Ogunbiyi was the man who first put public Christian revival services in practice in 1913 AD when he founded the Lagos Keswick Convention

Through ogunbiyi, Nigerian churches put their heads together to form a body at Onitsha in 1943 AD known as (CCN) Christian Council of Nigeria with the company of all eminent churches of that time such as

1. CMS (church missionary society) known then as Anglican
2. he Methodist church (Wesleyans then)
3. the salvation Army Church
4. the Baptist church

he was a member of ogboni ibile in lagos city. A member of ogboni aborigine in Abeokuta and also a member of osugbo cult in Ijebuland

ogunbiyi was the first olori apena of the fraternity. He died on june 19, 1952

propagators

1. T.A.J. Ogunbiyi was the founder and the first olori Apena of ROF. He was a strong member of the churches like Anglican church as well as catholics. He was a reverend, venerable, archdeacon, politician, doctor, lawyer and a businessman.
2. sir Adeyemo Alakija was the first Olori Oluwo. He was a top member and a leader in the Roman Catholic Church. He was lawyer, politician, journalist and a businessman. He was the chairman of the board of director of NPP & co., the publishers of Nigerian Daily Times in 1926
3. we also have sir adetokunbo adegboyega ademola as the second olori oluwo
4. sir chief david adekunle olaiya adeniji
5. madam joke peters
6. chief j. oladeinde
7. reverend M. somade cole. The vicar of Christ church cathedral

see the list of the ogboni members, they are full of pastors and why does this pastors anc christians say bad things about Ogboni when they actually founded what they called christianity in nigeria.

there is a pastor who is close to obasanjo who is also a member of a big chucrh in nigeria, wont mention name so as to not spark up controversy but u and i know.though he claim to be a former member but to me once an ogboni always an ogboni for life.

yeah, interesting, how the opinions change as i scroll down the page. At first there were people who were giving pac love but as i went down the page i’m like damn! I mean it’s almost as if ya’ll hate the man! yall shud name four nas albums, illmatic’s the only good one there and stillmatic’s kind of ok. I love pac, I love nas, ice cube, eminem, dr. dre, public enemy, wutang, of course Run DMC, and the list goes on. But Pac is the only one an my opinion who can make me feel, or complement my feelings at any given moment perfectly. Sure you got DMX or Ice Cube’s snarling rap, you got dr dre’s solid chunky beats, eminem’s witand the skillful rhyme play of the old school pioneers; but with pac, I mean when I’m angry, he’s got hit em up or komrads, when I’m feeling proud i just put in all eyez on me, when I wanna make an entrance it’s hailmary, and so on. I mean the man, had yes simple word play, but since when did someone care about the wrapping instead of the actual present. You get what I’m saying, his rhymes were simple, but efficient, i mean it’s still rhythm and poetry. when did it become a rule that rappers should have the most da vinci-esque rhymes ever composed? I reckon the man should be well among the top 10. And for all those who are in blissful ignorance, pac was at his prime in ‘96, his death not exalt his status as an already capable rapper. He has achieved a legendary status since his death, but that is because so many more songs have also been released since his death, and they still keep coming out. As for lil wayne, the jackass can’t rap, and he isn’t even dirt on Pac’s boots, so how is he to comment on pac, and ya’ll just take that retards word for granted, nodding your heads in agreement like dumb aristocrats. Peace out boys

Music/Radio › Re: Which Artistes Are Overrated? by dejiariyo: 1:15pm On Apr 07, 2009
To say that Tupac is overrated is incredibly ignorant. Just compare him to today's rappers. In 1996, he was still considered the driving force of hip-hop, even

before he died. In 2009, we have Lil Wayne as the driving force of today's hip-hop game, what does that say about hip-hop? Wayne has a broad

vocabulary, and tells no stories, yet he's the best we have today? Tupac was able to tell a story with a new rhyme scheme, and included a great vocabulary,

He was a great storyteller and poet, who used hip-hop as an outreach to better the world. To say that Tupac is overrated, is to say that MLK was overrated.
Music/Radio › Re: Which Artistes Are Overrated? by dejiariyo: 1:11pm On Apr 07, 2009
I see it slightly differently. I think Tupac was overrated for his most famous songs e.g. 'California Love' and 'Changes'. In that sense, yes he is hyped up a little since these few hit songs of his are all that some people know about Tupac.

However most people haven't heard all his other songs, including the dozens of unreleased and original mix tracks (all of which you can find on youtube if you only look). These songs are far superior to his famous 'pop' and 'hit' songs and they are unfortunately very overlooked when they are Tupac's greatest legacy of all.
