Music/Radio › Re: Hip Hop World Awards Nomineees: Predictions and Vote link by dejiariyo: 10:58am On May 15, 2009
Reptyle:
HHWA have really raised the standards of award shows in Nigeria and I must give props to the organizers. They have earned it. I know they will keep improving the standard every year.

However, in my opinion, one of the areas they really need to improve on is their selection process. They need to let people understand the criteria for selecting particular nominees for a particular category. Perhaps with that information, it would help someone like me understand why an artist like Mode 9's "Paradigm Shift" is on the list for album of the year, when P Square's "Game is Over" is not. I mean like, nuff respect to Modey for what he is doing for the rap industry in Nigeria. But that album can hardly be said to have enjoyed mainstream success or received as much airplay as P Square's. Perhaps there is something I am not seeing that the organizers saw.

I also think Shank should have made the list for Reggae/Dancehall.

P Square should also have made the list for the Best R'n'B/Pop Album

Timi Dakolo should have made the list for Best Male Vocalist. Maybe he didn't qualify because he only has two singles on air. Darey is a good performer but when it comes to voice, Timi can hold his own anyday.

Just my 2cents sha.
you a joker, psqaure album was nominated last year and why shud they nominate it again?if psqaure album shud be nominated again then maybe asa album shud be nominated as well.

i like all the judges they used, cos they are the true mcees we have in nigeria and its shows they are well recognised in africa, i think this is modenine second time as a judge on a program organised by channel o,

now i wish they can add more rappers like ruggedman and sauce kid, they are true hiphop and they are well popular all over the world, so next time if channel o dont pick ruggedman and saucekid, its will be fire from we ogba boys, peace huh huh undecided
Eminem's victims are all celebrities. . . . .
That is his signature. . . . . .Diss whoever fails to fall in line.

U are a goat. . . . . So because 2Pac sang "Dear Mama' meant he respected women??
What about "Wonder Why They Call U Bitch" and his rants of fucking someone else's wife on "Hit 'Em Up and dissing Lil' Kim and Lauryn Hill etc?
Is that respect to women you RoosterDrinker?

That is poetry.
Biggie called his father a loser, 2Pac said the same about his dad.
They are not legends because of these personal schitzos. . . . . .They are legends because of their rhyme structure, flow and delivery.

You are not intelligent. . . . .U don't have to battle to be a legend.
Biggie did not battle with anyone to be a legend. As u can read(assuming you are literate), even Nick Cannon acknowledges Eminem's superiority in lyricism and wordplay. He is a legend and he was voted in a poll of 960,000 voters.

Whether overrated or not. . . . . .His 3 studio albums which spanned between 1999 and 2004 outsold 2Pac's 14 albums that spanned between 1992 and 2007.
this are gibberish, lyrically he is not as good as nas and jadakiss, imagine if both artiste were to be , its just ludcrious that our society will live in celebrate stupidity than talents.

tell me how dissing women can turn someone into a legend, legend my ass, his new work is as wack as anything.
Celebrities › Re: Nick Cannon Drags Eminem by dejiariyo: 8:40pm On May 09, 2009
i am not suprised , this demented dude called sauron said tupac who had song to uplift women e.g dear mama, brenda got a baby and keep ya head up is overated.

eminem who had song about raping, cussing his mum , dissed notable women is the best rapper, so why shud i be suprised, u shud know the kind of home he is from and always tryna act like his brain is missing.

name notable rapper that eminem in his whole career has battle for him to be best rapper alive when we know hiphop is all about competiton but only thing eminem talk about are some wierd shiit that dont even make no sense.

imagine if eminem happens to be a black man maybe he will never be overated this much, cos dude is highly overated even dissing amy winehouse shows he lost the ploy and he terribly needs help.
Celebrities › Re: Nick Cannon Drags Eminem by dejiariyo: 7:45pm On May 09, 2009
i dont think any sensible black man would dissed nick cannon for standing up for his wife, only fools will see something good in eminem dissing women.nick cannon what u did just made me have a load of respect for you, standing up for your wife is the most important thing a man can do for his kids.

if modenine is so broke, how come he can afford a 2003 infinity jeep?
if he is so broke how come he is  able to afford studio sessions for the new mixtapes?
he is so broke and he has being on star mega jam for 2 years running.tell me which rapper that had more shows that modenine last year till early this year.
Dbanj album was released in october 2008 and he came up with only 1 video in feburary, does that make him broke as well?
and calling M.I a newbie in the game shows how dilapidated ur function of ur brain is, u shud rememer he has 2 album out already.
