I agree, . . . .i feel like she needs to let the whole thing die . . . . .and then again u really can blame her. .

Em, going on that radio interview stating that he peed on her or what not, aside a host of smack he's been ranting about. . . . undecided

and the "Mr Carey", trynna stand up for his wife and all. . . can't blame him either

To me its just about three no talents trynna validate their shortcomings, through unnecessary publicity stunts. . . .

Very soon their 15 minutes of fame will be all over, . . . .cant wait tho, . . . cant wait!!! smiley
are u saying mariah is not talented?hmmm u might as well say micheal jackson aint talented cos he is no more relevant , maybe u just started listening to songs during the era of neyo and ashanti.

@phemmy
Here are the criteria they used

''According to Vanguard and Silverbird, the project was borne out of the fact that “for too long in Nigeria, so much emphasis has been placed on materialism and wealth, which in turn has led to the get rich quick syndrome and the erroneous praise of visibly corrupt and irresponsible individuals, a situation that has led to undeserving and unworthy people being bestowed with National Awards while the real heroes of our time, who have contributed selflessly to the upliftment and development of our fatherland have had their achievements gone unnoticed because of the present day celebration of mediocrity and corruption”.
no vote is ever free and fair in nigeria and am not suprised that this was not a true reflection of the nigeria society, one day this man will be also made a prophet.

if the criteria used is anything to go by adeboye does not even fit in, cos he just acquired a jet while most of his congregation are in poverty, this same man had univeristy in his name and not in church name, he does not have any of his son in the so called university and most of his members cant even afford the university.

how can a church university be more expenisve than the govt ones, the missionaries gave education freely to nigerians back in the days and this are the same missionaries that gave us christianity, its a shame

at the end of the day its eminem loosing cos he is being ethered on a r&b track and if he dares reply he is loosing as well cos its will be like he is emotional.

yori yori:
Bro You don't seem to understand the fact here. Ikechukwu won an award for best "Video" (another storm records doing) not best rap or hiphop artiste, in that genre I think Naeto bested him. However my mentioning saucekid is plain simple. I dont like him but i respect his hussle. Dude been keeping relevant without an album for 3 years. If he had an album out now no one will hear Ike's name anymore and thats a fact!

Music is all about the pull strategy right now and if you cant remain on lips of ppl (whether good or bad) you are not relevant. Sauce has managed this and Obi asika must have noticed this when signing him on. Watch what will happen with the album.
you are still joking, ikechukwu is one of the best rapper in nigeria, its not all about the strategy or putting out publicity stunts, nah its about talents and ur hussle, ikechukwu to me is well above saucekid, all sauce kid puts out there are boring songs, tell me one of his songs out there that can be called a classic, none.

on the award thingy, ikechuwu went to southafrica and was one of the winners on the night, he got 2 awards at the channel o music awards and same as mtv awards in abuja, so to me he is more relevant than some kid out there.

Who cares even, I believe u should never bite the fingers that feed you! Obi Asika and Storm have done alot in making this guy relevant anyway, because if u leave it to him, he cannot hold his own the way artistes like MI and Saucekid have. Now he is heading to Mohits, even Don Jazzy wont be able to save him, Face it Ike, U had good promotional backing, U had good videos, U had a bit of fame, U never had a good album (U had Don Jazzy produce some hits) So the problem must be "You" and not the Label! One word of advise to Ike is to work on himself, his flows etc, because his album didnt flop because of Storm,

But on the better note: Now MoHits can release a real rap album and give Sid and Prince a rest,
ur joking, saucekid can never be relevant more than ikechukwu, ikechukwu was the best rapper out of naija last year, the awards says it all, even though u lots dont agree with him, he actually had a good year, putting sauce kid about him is delusional

can u pls name any nigerian rapper who has more accolades than modenine in africa, maybe pple who recognise him in africa are dumb as well.maybe u need to go and read the write up on his first album even by southafricans.
i just find it appalling how u guys go on and on when someone dont dance to ur tune, this is democracy for crying out loud, if u are all about modenine life, when will u have time for ur own life?
Music/Radio › Re: M.i Vs Naeto C by dejiariyo: 3:01am On Jun 11, 2009
my grouse with u sorry ass is, why must pple confound to ur way of life?if modenine says he wanna do his rap music differently what is ur problem with that .why cant u nigerians just shut ur bleeping trap and stop hating, how many of the so called nigerian rapper have international recognition like modenine does?that was my question but u failed to reply.

jayz, will i am ,wyclef, talib kweli,ll cool j and dj premier have all given kudos to this guy for his lyrical ability and aint suprise by ur choice of music, its shows how deep rooted u are in pop music and not hiphop
Music/Radio › Re: M.i Vs Naeto C by dejiariyo: 11:21pm On Jun 10, 2009
iamdnegro:
In my opinion they are both weak rappers. However, here's how they compare in my book

Delivery - Naeto C has better delivery. His flows are more in tandem with the beats he flows on.

Wordplay - M.I has better word play.

Lyrical content - M.I is a better lyricist than Naeto C. Naeto C is more commercial than anything else. He (Naeto) makes no attempt at being lyrical. Naeto C has a straight flow. M.I on the other hand uses more metaphors n similies.

Emceeing - Naeto C is better at emceeing. Naeto has his lil' adlib's n chants he be saying and it fits quite nicely with his flow

Freestyling - I saw both rappers on Jimmy's Jump Off on youtube and Naeto C proved to be the better freestyle artist. M.I shit was written (Who u tryna fool man. C'mon)

In conclusion, its a tie to me. Although I'd rather listen to Naeto C over M.I anyday because I can relate more to what he be sayin. By the way IKECHUKWU is WACK. Dude has absolutely nothin to say.

And yeah, Mode 9 thinks he is from the WU TANG. You can tell he is one of those rappers that spends hours with the dictionary writing a rhyme. Thats why he cant freestyle for shit. His 'punchlines' sometimes you gotta think about, ironically. Punchlines are supposed to be easy, quick, witty, lines that could make a crowd go OOOOOHHHH. But not Mode 9's.

I'm out.
just say u are not intelligent enough to understand what modenine is spitting, out of all those u mentioned tell me anyone who is well recognised in africa like modenine ?

its pple like yu that will take lil wayne over nas cos u cant figure out what nas is speaking, and besides hiphop is not about punchlines its a bout knowledge and which modenine pocess, tell me any of the two cats u list above that can make any sensible song like AFRICA,419 STATE OF MIND,LAGOS STATE OF MIND,CRY,JOURNEY SO FAR e.t.c how many punchlines are in those songs? they are all full of good story telling and addressing of issues, the problem i have with most of u nitwit is that u hardly even listen before u pass judgement, why cant yu all fault asa cos she is not doing party songs>?

tell me any of mi or naeto c track that will pass as classic? i can name 10 tracks from modenine which has already being passed as a classics.

physics,chemistry,biology is hiphop-krs1

What crossover thing?

How is he doing the opposite of what he's saying when he hasn't been caught using autotune himself? Maybe he's biased, he favored Kanye probably 'cause that's his employee. But he didn't necessarily mention names of people who indulge in autotune either.
i wonder o,he did not even mention anyones name, so he cant be accused of leaving pple names out, someone just had to do this, cos autotune is killing the game, the pocket is getting richer but the heart of the game is getting weaker.

pls can i have a song to kill the word swag getting out of hand , this is what real mcee shud do,

This is the difference between MC'ing and rap,Rappers spit rhymes that are mostly illegal, MC's spit rhymes to uplift they people , krs1

pls pple i wanna ask this question, why does gay men use mens toilets?why dont they have thier toilet cos its just hyprocricy when u say u not stright but u use the same toilet as straight pple, why cant they just go into female toilets cos they are more of the feminine side.

my point again is i dont have anything against u gays, but if u gay do it in ur bedroom no one will fault yu, but when u start fighting for rights, its the source of thier problem, how many times have u seen we straight pple fighting for our rights, we do it in our various rooms and not on the streets.

r u sur u kno wat u r sayin undecided[/quote]it is the truth, we all know this gay thing is influenced by the western world and am sorry nigerians are also trying to justify it, how many gays do u have in the rural areas?its pple who have access to civilization and who thinks anything the whites man says is good, is good without even thinking if its contradict his own belief and faith, if the white man says its good its good syndrome that is killing nigerians , as fela said, zombie o zombie, all he does is to follow follow.

even in america not all states approve of gay rights and i know some places in europe, asia and other continent where they dont believe in the gay rights, cos we nigerians have being bleeped up in the brain by our so called slave masters, we never want to challenge them in anything they say, i hope fela was alive, he would have put sense into this wannabe head.

i know a gay pastor in nigeria he used to live in surulere, he had 5 kids from his previous marriage when this man travelled abroad, he did not have visa so he went to do some gay arrange marriage and he told them they will kill him when he returns to lagos, this man is a liar cos i know him well ,am just so sorry cos he is putting christianity in shame.
