2016 Beneficiaries who are in Batch 2, have you started receiving your devices?

Are there any challenges?

#NPowerNG
my sister is a 2016 beneficiary in Batch A for device, she selected ZINOX Tab and she was sent message to notify her that her device was ready in November, 2017 at MTN office Ilesha, Osun State. when she got their, they told her that her device was not available with them. she toured all the device disbursement centers in Osun State. she later received several other SMS to proceed to Ilesha for her device and they keep on rejected her all the time. now, she is frustrated as she doesn't know what to do again.

$20.

Mathematics tire me o!

Pls, how can explain this common and dimple arithmetics:

-2 - - 3 = 1

Pls, give real life examples to explain this to kids.
Let me take you through basic operations..

+ × - = -

- × + = -

+ × + = +

- × - = +

Now, explaining this with real life situations;

If ENEMY is the negative sign (-)
and FRIEND is the positive sign (+),

therefore;

1. the Friend of your Enemy = YOUR ENEMY
That is, + × - = -

2. the Enemy of your Friend = YOUR ENEMY
that is, - × + = -

3. the Friend of your Friend = YOUR FRIEND
that is, + × + = +

4. the Enemy of your Enemy = YOUR FRIEND
that is, - × - = +

PatrickOkunima:
Are you very good with MS Word? I don't mean typing, cos everyone can do that.

Can you create a beautiful, well-formatted ebook using MS Word? Do you have a little graphics background? Is your writing skills topnotch? If yes, contact me. I have a very small task for you.

It's about reformatting an ebook to make it more presentable.

Send your price to info@patrickokunima.com

Please, no supermarket price, cos I'm also hustling like most of you.

Thanks.

Edited:

It's a 23 page ebook with a total of 4515 words. There may not be need to edit or add more words. I just need it to look more presentable. I mean spacing, font, etc. So take that into consideration when giving me a price.

You'll also have to add a good pix on the cover page, that's where your graphic design skills come in.
I'm in. I will do that for you at an affordable amount.

I implore the aggrieved to please go back and read the criteria for selection for selection set by the coordinators. One of them was that candidates must have made at least a minimum of 6 posts prior to Jan 11, 2018 (date of commencement of the quiz).

I am sorry but 2 of the top candidates didn't meet that selection criterium. They shouldn't have been shortlisted in the first place. The quality of shortlisting is one of the areas I have identified for further improvement in subsequent editions. I regret any inconvenience. They will still be eligible next time.

Congratulations to all the participants. Mehn !! xfire:
First of all, I will like to thank the coordinators of the competition, Richiez and Odunharry. They have done wonderfully well organizing this. They also handled all enquiries and feedbacks with outstanding maturity. They have worked tirelessly and their effort is not been driven by pecuniary gains.

From the information at my disposal, I can objectively say this competition was an improvement in terms of standards, fairness and level playing field. The introduction of a 2nd test, a novel initiative of Richiez, is a wonderful idea and has come to stay.

Richiez is a very great intellect. On a lighter mood, when I saw the test questions, I was like ‘thank God this dude does not work in JAMB’. If that dude works in JAMB, students will pray and fast to get 150/400. grin Well done for organizing all the tests. Odunharry is a workhorse, always ready to provide assistance and get things done.

I will also like to recognize dejt4u, a past coordinator who provided support from time to time wink

Of course, there were a number of areas for improvement. That will be worked on going forward.

I hope we will do this again next year. Wouldn’t have wished for better coordinators. God will make us all bigger.

A big round of applause for the coordinators!!

I will be guiding you and taking your questions on Unilag Pg admission for next session 2018/2019

I will be helping you decide which course to apply for considering your training, background, experience and Bsc degrees.
But before then there are many things you need to decide on.

The top 3 are these;

1. Eligibility for the proposed course of study

2. The Fees associated with each programme

3. The Format and structure of the exams

I will cover each on this thread, to help you prepare and make informed decisions.

The mods should please allow Franklin participate. It might be that he didn't know he wasn't qualified. I for one didn't know that was his offense till someone pointed it out. Not blaming the moderators but if they had done their jobs perfectly he wouldn't have written the test in the first place. This whole thing started since last month and most of us have been on this thread ever since , not allowing a participant write this last test doesn't seem fair to me.
you're wrong, rule is rule, anybody can be disqualified at any point in time.

they did their work well and that is the reason why they detected him.

Remember, some may/will even be disqualified at the end if they do not possess any valid means of identification as students

Richiez:
Instructions For The XFIRE Scholarship Final Test

1. The final test will consist of 60 questions to be answered in 35 minutes. Thus, time management is paramount. (you will see a countdown timer at the top of each page)

2. Candidates will receive email containing the link to final test on Saturday, 10/02/2018 by 2:30 PM. The title of the mail will be "Xfire Nairaland Undergraduate Scholarship Aptitude Test- Final". The test will be available for access by 3:00 PM same day, and the open window will last for just 4 minutes.
To clarify, candidates are free to log in at any time between 3:00 PM and 3:04 PM and still have 35 minutes to take the online test, but WILL NOT be able to take the test before 3:00 PM and after 3:04 PM.

3. Before taking your Test, make sure you are in an environment where you will not be disturbed. Your answers are saved as you submit each one, not at the end of the Test. This means you will not lose any work.

4. Avoid using the browser back button as this will not work. The Test is set to allow you to go back to Previous questions, so, use the “Previous” button which will be under your Questions

5. Please, stay connected to the Internet during your Test.

6. If you need to type answers, type your answers in the answer boxes under each question, not in a separate application like Microsoft Word©.

7. Candidates will only have one attempt at the real test.

8. Winners will be contacted to provide proof of studentship in the evening same day via their emails.

9. Winners will be announced on Sunday (11/02/2018) evening after the verification process.

Cheers!

2018 XFIRE Scholarship Test Coordinators
yes, you have done so well. I bet you, the highest mark in this category will not be up to 50%.

let's wait and see. This is a true test.
Reason: cheating will be reduced with this in place "The test will be available for access by 3:00 PM same day, and the open window will last for just 4 minutes.
To clarify, candidates are free to log in at any time between 3:00 PM and 3:04 PM and still have 30 minutes to take the online test, but WILL NOT be able to take the test before 3:00 PM and after 3:04 PM. "

I wish the participants the very best

Nobody should dare to rename the following Universities, Uniben, Unilag, Uniport, Unilorin, UI, UNN etc. you dont toy with first, second and 3rd generations universities. their names are their first identity, their heritage. changing them will affect so many things about them
