Demdem:
The Department of State Services (DSS) has taken Sambo Dasuki, immediate past national security adviser, to court for alleged possession of unlicensed firearms.
In a statement made available to TheCable on Monday, the DSS, through its acting spokesman, said: “You may recall that on 16 July, 2015, the Department of State Services (DSS), carried out a search operation on properties belonging to the immediate past national security adviser, Mohammed Sambo Dasuki (Col/rtd), in Abuja and Sokoto.

This action was necessitated by credible intelligence which linked him to acts capable of undermining national security. The search operation led to the recovery of large cache of arms and ammunition among other things and for which further investigation was conducted.

“Consequently, on Monday 24 August, 2015, he was charged to court based on evidence so far obtained, but which relates to possession of fire arms without license punishable under section 27(i)(a)(i) of the Firearms Act Cap F28 LFN 2004. This is in line with democratic practice and our avowed commitment to the rule of law, in which nobody is deemed to be above the law no matter how highly placed in the society. Accordingly, the general public will be duly informed as the matter progresses.

The key word there is UNLICENSED FIREARMS. To fools and cohorts of the killer party, am quite certain it will still make no sense to them. Unlicensed Firearms is surely a threat to National Security and Dasuki has no right to have such. These arent just ordinarily firearms but sophisticated ones whose details were hidden from the govt of Nigeria till when his house was raided. DSS on point. Let Dasuki continue to battle that charge pending when Buhari finishes probe on purchase of firearms since 2007 which i am quite certain he will also be culpable.

NORTHERNERS=24, SOUTH=13 Buhari's appointments so far

SOUTHERNERS=27, NORTH=13 Jonathan's appointments in his time

Where is the lopsided appointments ? I believe all this wailing is because some people wanted some people in a certain post and Buhari chose not to give the favored candidate the position

Shikenna
ANy shout of lopsided appointment is just premature and should be ignored considering the fact that 75% of posts are yet to be filled including ministers.

dekdek:
[b]By the way it should be noted that Buhari has appointed far more Southerners in the business units of NNPC than northerners. This was not even captured in the original list presented earlier................These are verifiable facts that anyone interested in the truth can always confirm from. Dont allow TANoids feed u with lies any longer.

A new Company Secretary/Legal Adviser and Managing Directors have also been appointed for the Strategic Business Units. They are: Chidi Momah, Group General Manager, Company Secratarty & Legal Adviser; Mrs. Esther Nnamdi Ogbue, Managing Director, Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC); Engr. wrong! i have very serious issues with everything jona-daft that was why i vigorously campaigned and donated immensely for change! to see GMB almost toeing the same line of tribalism and bigotry is not funny at all. when we complain over GMB, we do so to make sure he doesn't make the same mistakes GEJ and PDP made. we owe him the obligation to point out his wrong moves whenever he made any so as to avoid future repeat. our condemnation of his last appointments will propel him to get it right the next time.
Now get this straight............There was nothing wrong with the pattern of Jonah-daft appointment and that explains why no one raise any issue out of it then and i put it to u also that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Generals pattern especially knowing fully well that well over 75% of appointments are yet to be made including ministers. Buhari isnt daft and dont think he doesnt know what he is doing. My message to u is on that basis, is plain wrong for u to conclude using that shaky basis that he is bigoted ethnically. When we say change, it means change from what is bad to what is good. Was everything about Jonah-daft government bad? of cos not. Jonahh-daft appoitments pattern wasnt a mistake but the personalities were so please stop attacking the pattern yet but look at the personalities. Until u have a full picture when most apoitments are made, it will be unwise to conclude the way u have already concluded.

Saints who can work with Buhari can only be found in the North - hence 80% appointments made so far is from the North, 15% from the south-west, 5% from south-south and 0% from the south-east. go figure.
First and foremost, neither Buhari nor anyone told u lot that he was looking for saints to work with, only TANoids are talking rubbish, why speak the same shameful language with them? Secondly, why ur bigotry premature condemnation when u know that far more appointments are yet to be made when compared to the one made. What gives u the impression that the next round of appointments wont be more southerners than northerners? if it does, will u be man enough to swallow ur pride and apologise to the General for accusing him falsely? Thirdly, have u compared Jonah-daft appointees of these offices and compare with that of Buharis's? we never had issues with Jonah-daft screwed appoitments to these offices to favour the south, why do we to start shouting now if it now favours the north this time around? Besides the statistics u gave is not totally true.

As you may have noticed, you are practically the only major strong voice selling him to the masses on NL now all because his bigotry has punctured a very big hole in the psych of many of us who are not from the north that stood by him - APC really need to put a reign on PMB's bigotry before it ruins his positive efforts. The TANoid are having a field day today bc of Buhari's appointment blunders. The table can still be turned in his favour thru the next phase of appointments - he should appoint his ministers fast, cause he do really need them - especially now.
