Huuh , seems to me like this thread's been taken over by girls ![]() KC, you doing a very nice job with all those designs. Oh, by the way Queenzy, you look sweet. ![]() |
@ larger_20: man, I wasn't referring to the man but the ladies in the house fighting over his $s. ![]() |
Imagine what money can do ![]() No wonder it is said to be the root of all evil. |
@ nicetohave: Please just read part of my earlier post below:-
trying to please your parents.
I boldened "trying" just for the sake of emphasis. You are not supposed to try to please your parents rather, you should please them when and if you have to, but not at the expense of your happiness. There's nothing with you trying to please your parents. Okay? Hope I've clearified things. |
@ ozi, no one is saying you shouldn't give it a try, just that you might end up trying to please your parents. |
Simple! some men can't just put up with such simply because of their ego and women on their own part because they feel they have all the man can ever think of having as long as money can get it. Problem is, money can't get everything, so, why not give it say, a 2 weeks to a month trial of dating and see how it turns out. If it appears to work, you decided what to do ,if not, also decided on what to do. May be that's what I'll do if I think I can do it. |
you're welcome K.C ![]() You're sweet too. |
Now this one is ENGLISH |
Thanks, Missed you as well. So, wetin dey Haa? |
Point! Layi. |
We are talking about choosing which also means someone who would live with you for the rest of your life. Of course I wouldn't accept that because it's my life to live and I have to exercise the right to choose that God has given to me. |

Who said you rule? ![]() The head are the year-starters. |
I think the craze for the degrees is due to the fact that so many people have the wrong perception about having a degree. I f you ask the average Nigerian undergraduate why he/she chose the university, he/she would answer thus, well, the discrimination in the labour market is too much and I don't want that. Others might say, if I have a degree, it might give me the chance to rise where I would work and that means more money. They might not mention the more money part if it, but I tell you, that's one of the reasons. All for wrong reasons. What's the essence of the degree when after you have it, you're not guaranteed a bright future. So many believe the degree would take them where they want to get. Judge for youself. |
Vexxy, na wa ooo. You don dey learn very fast. Jisike ![]() |
The questions that follows this new development would be, where would all other qualified and able students go? Secondly, what should they be doing at the interim of waiting for their turn? What guarantees their admission the next academic session? So many question like these. I really don't know but I don't think pegging the number of student should be the best solution. -The govt should encourage and monitor the activities of the existing and intending private universities. -Build more institutions -Properly fund the existing ones etc. |
Hey Gina, you've got a blank cheque from KC. So, tell her what you want. |
Those eyes are catching, fascinating, hilarious, infact, tourist attraction ![]() |
Of course love is sweet. It's what makes the world go round. ![]() @layi, I hope you don't mean what I'm thinking? |
Ah ah, is it layi's b/day too? ![]() If no, why did vexxy say "happy birthday, layi"? |
, seems to me like this thread's been taken over by girls
