Please let's wait for 2019 because I know that Buhari has failed. Let's not expect miracles. Politicians are all deceivers, but some can still listen to good advise while some knows it all but performance is zero.
The simple economic indication shows that there is hunger in the country.

This kind of story is not new. What Nigerians need now is to move forward. You don't close shops because you lost some money. Buhari should save us all this revelations everyday and try at least to get 50% of his election promises.
Politics / Re: Jonathan's SURE-P A Monumental Fraud: Tinubu by delait: 8:59am On May 20, 2016
Tinubu now realised that subsidy should be removed. After sponsoring the occupy Nigeria protest in January 2012 against the removal. Anyway am not surprise. He is Buhari's stooge.

Career / Re: Help A Brother! How Can I Choose A Career Path? I Studied Business Education! by delait: 7:59am On May 11, 2016
Arisheloaded:
I'm a fresh graduate, I majored in Business Education (Accounting Option) in one of Nigeria's foremost University. I am someone who believes in making a difference and not just earning a pay.

I'm quite started with the way employers view my course as though it is irrelevant to the workplace. Hence, I think I need a defined career for myself.

Also, taking Accounting as a career is a no-no for now because I didn't study pure Accounting and going for ICAN isn't possible now due to paucity of funds (though, planning to further when I get a job).

Thanks in anticipation of your response.

Cc: Lalasticlala, Jarus etc

You can work in an Audit firm now as Audit trainee to get experience. I did same course but now am a certified Accountant and I work for the Government.

More strange than fiction.

A child is born, fine. The process or story behind lets forget.

Sometimes spirituality can be used as cover up.

Only God knows the truth.
Politics / Re: Lagosians Groan Over Darkness And Fuel Scarcity by delait: 6:27am On Mar 20, 2016
Quakertellicus1:

1,On the blame game, Jonathan's supporters and government officials were always blaming the ''North'' for any bad thing happening in our country.

2.Fuel was N97 offically for most of GEJ's regime. It was only in the last few months that it went down to N87. And even then, it was only in Lagos and Abuja that fuel was
sold at that price. Elsewhere.....it was N100
higher. In the East it was even N150, and in the North...N110-170.
(gej should have removed subsidy. But unfortunately Nigerians like the psychologic effect of ''low fuel price'').

3.GEJ could ''Stimulate'' the economy because we had dollars flowing in for most of his reign. That did not mean our economy was good.

When oil prices were high....oil economies were all in a good state. When they were low....they were in a bad state.(Read about Dutch disease).

You are right to say we are spending more than we earn. And we did the same during GEI's regime too...to the point that we were taking loans in the last year of his regime.

GEJ did not take our economy off oil. What he should have done was removed subsidies, spent more on transport and power than they actually did, and reactivated Ajaokuta....and made our industries source for local raw materials.

(Yes...I know he built car factories. The same thing happened during the oil boom of the 1970's. And many of those factories ran into trouble when oil prices crashed in the 1980's because they were reliant on imported parts. Sad).

4.We still had problems with electricity. Yes...light was on for 22 hours a day....and power routinely went low in the periods of Feb-April because....the reservoirs were low. Also, because of the bad transmission facilties in the country....some parts got 22 hours...some got 6-12 hours.

Sorry...but GEJ's time was not Shangri-La.More like missed opportunities to get Nigeria developing properly. And as usual...doing nothing about corruption messed the economy up as well.

The fact you omitted is that may be we can get qualified technocrats after four years to help people that will still be alive by then.

Congratulations!!! Our Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. The supreme court has really given us hope at last. Thank God we still have men of integrity in the Judiciary(supreme court).
Honestly, I became worried at a point not because I really invested in politics but for conflicting Judgements coming from our appeal court. Thank God for supreme Judgement.

Politics / Re: Jonathan To Blame For Fuel Scarcity Says Lai Mohammed by delait: 6:38am On Dec 22, 2015
Oga Liar Mohammed your wailing doesn't make sense, because the opposition then kicked against removal of subsidy . This Country was closed down in protest for one week because you think it was a step in the wrong direction, surprisingly you started thinking well now. Too many irredeemable promises. Obviously the government need to open shops in January 2016 so far we are still test running and time is flying .

Politics / Re: What Do You Think About My Boss' Parable? by delait: 3:29pm On Dec 11, 2015
Am in the same school of thought with your employer.

My humble opinion is that we should move on,no matter what happens.

If the leader does not encourage the followers to strive and push on in spite of all odds discouragement and lost of hope becomes the order of the day.
While we embark on recovery.

I went to my clients office yesterday to meet with the Human Resources Manager on an issue. When this Guy showed me about 66 files of workers that he prepared their sack letters, I wept.

He told me that the owners of the business (Lebanese)are closing down because of unfavourable business environment.

Lets pray things gets better

Politics / Re: Buhari Should Not Take Succession Threat Lightly – Braithwaite by delait: 3:53pm On Oct 29, 2015
In my view I think that Buhari is complacent about agitations for secession. Also He believe that those calling for social justice are waisting their time. May be he forgot what democracy is all about.

It is very pertinent that the report from the national conference should not be thrown to the dustbins. It should be implemented, if not our investment to the project called democracy is wasted.
