True sha. Its just my experience that is making me approach it this way o. I have withnessed a phone thief that eas caught red handed and taken to the police only to be released and he and his gang returned to kill the babe who reported them to the police. Inshort one even returned with his gang and attempted to burn down the house of those that dragged his brother to the police.

See, it seems he cant say for sure its the guy. Cos reading his post it seems even he was confused as to what and who he saw. And he did not act(as in make a hell of noise abd call peoples attention to what just happened) as soon as he saw the guy due to that fact.
Besides people will report to the police if the police can be trusted and also if their security after the mater is resolved can be guaranteed.

I understand you. If you want ti take up the case you have to report him to the police. Cos I believe you did not raise too much alarm when tge incident happened. So considering the time lapse, you either confront him and talk to him or if you want him punished then you "use power" to confront him and do all the gragra or you get him arrested and let the police handle it. But what if they release him as soon as he settles them? How are tge biys he lives with? Are they touts? Are they level headed? Will they fight back? Those are things you should consider before you act.

Hmnn, you have to handle this case with wisdom o. Ok, call him and tell him you saw him in your house. Make it clear that you have reported the case to a police friend and that you believe he is too young to suffer and you want to give him a second chance that is why he has not been arrested. Tell him that if anything of such happens again, he will be arested. Try not to fight with them o. Abeg, these days people just kill others for #20 change dont fight with them.

Democracy is not what Naija needs now. Therr can be no iron leader in a democratic environment as such leader can be replaced by corrupt people. We need some form of socialist type of leadership. I could be wrong but I think that is what naija needs for now.

indeed, it will take a strict leader and a disciplined people...Nigerians and Africans in general have a big role to play in this movement, because no leader, no matter how powerful, can force a people to appreciate and patronize their own, and that is what we need to start doing.that's part of the phase to the 'home coming'.

A strict leader can force a people to do what ever he wants. That is the beauty of power. You can mould those under you to any shape you desire. Now that is the tricky part this is where it becomes easy for the leader to think he is God and that is where problems may start. If a Govnor imposes environmental sanitation on christmas day and enforces it, everyone will come out and do it. The thing is, a wise leader knows when to make his people stand, walk and sit. Now do those things and bring positive results, the people wont complain much(cos no mater how good a people are you will still find complainers) so, if we can get firm hands at the top, every one will fall in line.

Now the onus lies on us all to undo what we have done in other to actualize the dreams of our founding fathers.

No taking shit and guarding our way of life. But, it requires a wise and pourpose driven people to do it cos power can easily corrupt one. The person will have to fight many greedy home grown people who will seek to make money through backdoor and turn enemies if they are prevented from doing so. These same people will join forces with enemy nations to push the good leader out or straight up kill him/her. Just as they did Patrice lomumba.
But, our leaders even if they cant have 100% control of Naija can make life comfortable for the masses on a normal day. Good roads, safe drinking water, Medicals, schools, Houses, Transportation, Power aka light, etc can help keep people calm and happy and they will not notice anything else happening around.
If only leaders were smart. But no, they want it all, and they take it all without any problem. No one holds them responsible, to pay back with blood or material what they took the masses just look on as leader after leader steals, loots and empties our weath box.
We need to be strong again, we need to revolt, but like I said, power can corrupt easily, before revolution, we need to sit down and think of who can handle power with fairness and equity else after the revolution it will be a case of jumping from frying pan into direct fire. This doesnt take 1 day to plan the problem now is, who can one trust with such task?
Anyway, all sugestions here are mere sugestions I do not claim to know for certain the way forward. I am open for ideas too.

Can you imagine? Dehumanizing the victim so that killing would be easy on the mind. Afterall its an inaki being killed just as you kill a goat or fowl.

Just sit back and watch prices soar. That is what will happen. Goods get banned, prices sky rocket, if the naija market lacks quality, smuggling of the banned goods will become lucrative which will sky rocket prices even more.

All is well, as long as he can guarantee the quality and quantity of goods that will be produced in naija. Plus he must make sure Nigeria has the capability and facilities needed to operate and produce goods at affordable prices. If not everything will colapse or high cost of production will drive up prices. Which means Nigerians will pay more for goods.

Well, I thank the prince for not going ahead to bring the inaki igboro. Many desperate men will bring it and wastr lives for no reason.
