That's why I love Lagos State, irrespective of how crazy it might appear sometimes. See ehen, everyone in the neighbourhood might be forming and all, but let there arise any form of emergency. Even that neighbour you have never greeted before in the street will rush in to help assuage the situation, not to mention your immediate compound neighbours!

And if for any reason(s) your immediate neighbours ignored you at that time and didn't come to your aid, if the news filters out within the neighbourhood, the culprits would have earned themselves multiple enemies within the community. Even some street neighbours will tell them to their face that they're heartless and wicked.

Lagos State wey person wey you no know, no relate to in any way, will take over your fight. They'll push you aside, face your opponent and tell them to fight them if dem born dem well. And before you know it, you'll have many supporters running in from different angles willing to fight on your behalf. Not to talk of your neighbours, nitori Olohun! Are they not witches and wizards like this?

Neighbours here that after helping you, might still bone and pretend they haven't ever met you before. But they MUST surely come to your aid in that situation first before any other thing.

Me I go involve church matter if necessary. Those lord chosen people are pure evil. Apologies to no one who attend or have anyone that is a member of that church.
If u notice when u have one or two living in a particular compound, they turn to scheming to oust tenants of other church or tribe who isn't from their part in other to bring more of their cronies into the house.
I pray neva to to live in the same compound with such people again. Na dem make me look at Christianity and shrug my shoulders at how they have belittle it.
I have live with core northerners in a compound I reside way back in the early 2000s, men those people were nice and the best neighbors ever. I stay with yorubas, edo, Delta, etcs a nd my experience with them made me know that there are nice people around us in this country.
One thing I notice especially with the Christians among those neighbors, none were lord chosen.
Those lord chosen people with their football pips I dey run fast from them.

The neighborhood I reside is a gated street with tight security n the compound I reside we don't leave the door open once it 11 or 12 midnight it will be lock.
All neighbors in the compound knows and always leave the entrance door open when it is crossover night Dec 31 and it had always been that way since I moved into the compound.
This lord chosen crony do also attend croosover night every year except that particular night that year which he didn't attend the service. His family always attend croosover service and do come home around that early morning and the door is always left ajar thru which they gain entrance.
He was conscious of what he did and he heard my voice and knocking. If I were his family or fellow lord chosen cronies who resides in that same compound I bet u he will open the door for me.
So before typiing always read thru what others posted on this platform at least thrice for someone of low reading faculty like urs before opening ur offensive odor pit u call mouth of yours to comment. and I pray a heavy rain to fall and wash ur stupidity and senselessness away.
I will not be surprise if this fella is also a lord chosen crony. Banza, da iska.

Having good neighbours is like finding a good wife. Alot of people may not understand this point of view until they have had a taste of it. Do not renew your rent oh. These species of neighbours (I think I have an idea of their tribe) would never help you even if see you dying. Yet, they are the first people to exit the compound to church on Sunday. They act nice only to their fellow statesman. Others are treated as outcast.


I know someone who suffered a bone injury at night. That person was in distress and wailing in the dead of the night. Certainly the neighbours must have heard this person wail, but nobody came to inquire or help. This person had to lay helpless in the bathroom with a broken bone from past midnight until past 4 A.M before help from another compound came

You'd live in a compound where you wouldn't know your next door neighbour's name or what he does for a living.

Sometimes it can be as bad as not greeting/ talking to each other and no be say Una dey quarrel oo.
