Two more chicks hatched out of eggs a few days after I posted this. Now the hen has 12 chicks. In fact, another one hatched two days ago, but it wasn't fully formed (the head was like a bloody pulp), and it died shortly afterwards.

I created this thread to try and connect deaf or hearing impaired Nairalanders on a WhatsApp group specially created for our kinds.

Those who communicate by lip reading, like me, and those who communicate by sign language are all welcome to join.

The purpose of the group would be to familiarize, socialize and connect with each other, share ideas, challenges and encourage each other.

And if God wills, we may organize a get-together where we meet and socialize physically.

If you are a normal hearing individual but knows a deaf or hearing impaired individual, please inform him or her of the group and encourage them to join.

I am talking about the new generation of deaf people.

Visit University of ilorin, Jos, Ibadan, FCE Special and other who have higher number of deaf people in higher institution you will know better. While Wesley University have the higher number of deaf in private university

Lip reading are those in mild and less deafness. We have severely and profound deafness.

Pls stop using the word DUMB. It have been expunged from the way they were addressed. Simply say Deaf.

If educated one catch you na shege ooo. We have many deaf lawyers and health worker all over the place now. Even deaf banker too

How Sure is this

It is through official or unofficial ( bribe) mean

Ogun, Ekiti, Osun and Ondo State immigration Office keep saying there is no Booklet and that if i do it now it may take up to 6month or more before i get it

You can only enter Ghana legal through the airport in Accra. Ghana’s land borders are closed due to covid.

The only authorized/legal way to enter Ghana now is to travel by air. You risk being arrested if you attempt to enter via the land borders. A lot of non-Ghanaians have been arrested in the past year trying to sneak into Ghana.

You can’t travel with an ID card by air. Or can you? Get a passport if you are serious about traveling to Ghana. I will strongly advise you not to attempt to enter or sneak into Ghana by the land borders. It is very risky to do that.

And to trave by air means your passport and covid-19 test 72 hours before departure. You also have to pay $50 for another covid test when you land in Ghana.

What the govt need to do was to overhaul the Nipost to make it work effective and to be able to generate more revenue the rate of missing parcels,letter and luggage in the agencies is so alarm, most time letters and parcels while be tear probably the agencies staff are looking for money, i have receive letter that have been tear at many side of the envelop. the agencies should also be use an e-commerce, e-business platform where business like internet cafe, identity card printing etc should be carry out
