I don't understand this stupid praises of stability of dollars at 1400, when dollar price was not capped, even though it was scarce at 300/400 you could easily purchase it from black market at 700. So it stable 1300 now better than 700?

Any ways why am i surprised, Nigeria style has always been, spoil it initially and make a minor fix then you become the saviour.

Since the last national grid collapse on Wednesday 11th December 2024 power supply in many places has been terrible. My area where we usually have approximately 16 to 20 hours supply each day has reduced to 2hours per day which only comes between the 2am to 4am. For crying out loud of what use is power that will only come deep when people are asleep? I have gotten similar reports from friends in other places too so it is not a peculiar issue.

I don't know of others but If it's I drive, go to settings and turn off "chain of requests"

You will see the settings button at the top right corner of your screen, a spanner image, click on it and you will see the chain of requests.

As stated in the Topic, for long I have always seen this page of declaration on nairaland and I don't think it is fair.
I am seriously surprised and disappointed that till this present day Nairaland which is widely seen as a place for people to freely air their views is still requiring such declaration.

I am not totally against such restriction to maintain decorum on such topics but then if such restriction is to be placed then I believe it should also be the case with commenting on Christian topics too as its not nice that Muslims are allowed to comment and derail Christian threads whereas Christians are restricted from such on Muslim threads.
It is so unfair using a declaration to ban, YES I CALL IT BAN AS NO TRUE CHRISTIAN WILL ACCEPT SUCH DECLARATION just to comment.

I think it is high time something is done about it, it is either the declaration is removed from the Muslim Topics or we should have same declaration on Christian Topics.

The company wanted to do the road but Nigerian factor played in, it is a company with integrity and has a policy against bribery.

Here in Lagos I paid 65k last week for documentations and number plate. Guy still call me today that I need to add to make some further change, the name on the license is different from what is on auto reg computer.

So yesterday i got a rewire guy, we checked the fuse box and discovered it was a fuse that got blown, so it was changed and the acceleration picked up fine and the gear sound went back to normal.
This evening I bought a new battery, car working fine though I am yet to drive it out to know if I will still have the battery issue, I hope it settles it.

Yes it doesn't crank at all, but once the battery is changed it starts at once. If its the starter motor will change of battery make it start at once?

So i decided to invite a rewire to check it today, after waiting for him all day to no avail he said I should bring the vehicle over. I tried starting as usual it didn't start, while at it my neighbour saw me and offered his battery but without proper check he connected it wrongly and there was a spark. I came and corrected it and the car started only for me to observe it wasn't sounding fine. Driving out I observe it doesn't (raise) accelerate beyond 2 1/2 and the gear changes with force when I switch from drive to reverse.
I managed to get to the rewire workshop, he read the battery and said its fine but that the alternator isn't charging well. He adjusted the belt and cleaned a connection (like ground wire) on the alternator, we started the car and he said alternator is fine now (I never believed him).

On the vehicle not accelerating properly he said we I'll have to scan it, it was late (already dark) so we agreed we shouldn't go into that so we set home, just getting to the next street the vehicle went off and wouldn't start till we got another battery to jump start before I could drive it home.

Sincerely I'm just so down, instead of getting a problem solved I am now faced with a bigger issue.
