So talking about special forces and the setuation going on in Kaduna State about students being kidnaped and killed for lack of compliance by the government.

Its cool not negotiating with terrorists.
I'm just thinking out loud and maybe someone with more insights to all this can respond with a more detailed explanation.

are setuations such as this not why we have special forces?
I mean SBS standards.

Lol we have seen SBS playing body guard roles to vip's.

Like close to five of this students have been killed already by this rag tag miscreants.
Are setuations like this not what This special intervention forces are trained to stop.?

We all saw how the Americans did it for just a single citizen thousands of miles away from home. Worst part is we even acknowledge playing a big role in the rescue which I believe sbs or some specialized unit must be a part of.

With all what's going on and the total silence from our special intervention forces, who by the way travel to various countries for training and stuff still cannot do jack.

As in, is it now on your own for the average Nigerian citizen?

WTF IS GOING ON IN THAT COUNTRY?

I'm not one of those that just throw big words to massage our ego that Nigeria is the giant of Africa, a giant that can't influence what happens in neighbouring countries. That being said, if Buhari is begging AFRICOM to move it's HQ to Nigeria I don't see anything bad it in, we stand alot to gain ranging from military infrastructures including hardwares/softwares, shared intelligence, training, joint ops etc the advantages supercedes the disadvantages, but the reality is that the US don't give a toss about Nigeria and Africa in general. What we see as a kind of interventions in some countries including our neighbors by the US is strictly a proxy game with China, the US are worried about the growing influence of the Chinese in the continent. It will be far easier to get the Chinese military to offer support than the US, why we're not even exploring that option is what I don't still understand. If I'm at the helms of affairs I'll seek for all the help I can get, I won't mind inviting the Chinese to come establish a world class military drone base fully funded by them in the northeast similar to what the US built in Djibouti from where they can jointly operate 24/7 with our security agencies, while also building a defence industry.
As for the DSS their problem lies in the ACT that established them as a department of the presidency, they were created I think by IBB solely primarily for regime protection that's why they're more interested in who insults the president or members of the ruling class than state protection, again this is one of the reasons we have bin the 1999 constitution and come up with a workable document.

Bravo

ISWAP has captured newly delivered Nigerian army MRAP.

This is beyond embarrassing.

I feel very, very ashamed!!!

We don't have mraps, we don't have mraps.
Now it's here.

Then somebody thought it would be a good idea to strap them on flat bed trucks and escort them with Hilux.

Someone should get kicked out of the army for such decisions.

Now this vehicles are just gonna be torched. Millions in the drain.

Me I take it to mean the soldiers suspect that ISWAP has sympathy in our pilot ranks.

Disastrous and deadly if even slightly true.

Logically thinking it is impossible.

So many things could go wrong but speculating we have compromised pilots. Omo that has to be Kwale weed at work.

But how do ISWAP come with Guntrucks to overrun military bases with APC and MBT?

Psychological warfare,
The thoughts of not getting your head chopped up and streamed online is real.

Can't really blame them.

Until we learn to use tech to give them bloody nose with little effort, we would keep on running in circles inside trenches.

From what I read seems like the Chadians military just destroyed one of the rebel group that was heading to Ndjamena from libya.
From my point of view the destabilization caused by europeans and the US in libya would keep having cascading effect on other countries down south.

That's a happy ending.

Hope this once accidentally suffocate like the iswap/BH captives a while back.

Watch What Sheikh Gumi Said About Christian Soldiers Killing Muslim Bandits To Divide Islam (with translation)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zc8jUJifS88

I no understand Hausa, but did the terrorist sympathyser sheikh gumi really said that shocked

Abeg person wey hear Hausa make Una translate am

This video sums up the problem of nigeria. If you hear housa you will know.

Some will tell you he is just trying to calm the nerves of those Bandits.
But he actually meant it.
And he is damn serious about it.

Don't be surprised if 70% of those high up actually thinks like this.

The country is actually just flying on vibes and insha Allah right now.

The only regret I have is that I have family and friends serving this country with all honesty in their heart.

Yet a dwarf cunt like this guy would call them Christians who are attacking Muslim Bandits.

If this guy thinks like this it explains why his friends in government, with the same mindset would use funds ment to tackle a problem for personal gains.

NOTORIOUS BANDIT AUWALU EMBRACES PEACE, SURRENDERS 20 AK47 AMONGST OTHERS IN ZAMFARA

Lasting peace seems to be on the horizon in Zamfara state as an erstwhile notorious bandit, Auwalun Daudawa and his group yesterday 8th February 2021, surrendered 20 AK47 rifles and other dangerous weapons to the state government.

In a brief ceremony at the premises of the Governor’s office, Auwalun Daudawa handed over the weapons and also, along with his team mates, swore with the Holy Quran not to revert to his old ways.

Auwalun Daudawa said he was not surrendering his weapons because he and his team were tired of their old ways.

In recent times, the military, under its Operation Hadarin Daji, has intensified its onslaught against bandits operating in the state, neutralizing no less than 52 of the dastardly criminals. It could be for this reason that the bandits have decided to lay down their arms and embrace peace. The troops have sustained an aggressive posture against the bandits forcing many of them to flee the state or surrender.

Recall also that renown islamic cleric, Sheik Dr Ahmad Gumi also met with various bandit groups recently, calling on them to surrender and embrace the ongoing peace initiative in the state.

CASHOUT straight up

We have a crisis at hand and the government seems not to be concerned about it. If something isn't done about the issue of this "bandits", they will be worse than bokoharam and ISWAP and the only reasonable solution is dialogue.

If you know how useless the security architecture of this country is, you wouldn't doubt this...I have always said it, once an armed group arises; they always remain, the security agencies are so meddled up in politics and corruption to counter such no matter how little they are, the DSS seems to be worse of them all.

See the video clips bro, how many dead ESN did you find? Not one....They practically came to prove a point and unfornately it seems they did, for how long must we always lose men to touts?, where is an robust response to crisis such as this? Couldn't we have used better vehicles than Hilux?? Must we trade lives of gallant men for greed?

Well, we saw Oyigbo was a pathetic case study, we the NA cowardly oppressions against unarmed citizens, with also the seemly scenario as Orlu but no armed group, of course soilders proved their superiority. They were everywhere, gunshots from GPMG's all through the day and night, armoured APC, IFVs on patrols, Helicopter gunships on the air, Mi-35p was flying at low levels, the town was deserted, majorly aged and sick remained, yet gunshots rang out. Curfew imposed dusk to dawn for 3 whole weeks, innocent citizens couldn't feed, they were ruined...And the army has remained even up till now as I speak, though they have ceased their agitations.

Now we all saw an resistance in Orlu, some soilders dead, where is the show of force?
Friends, the earlier we reason out our personal security the better.

Does the police have any response to a State take over by unarmed groups such as these? No contegency plan, how can me and you be smarter than those men in charge of our security..We always bring out the best suggestions for each situation while they mop and do nothing. We heard the Minister of information, lier Mohamed, saying he's Orderly keeps him abreast of security situation in the country yet, he comes out to say "BHT's are defeated", can you see how messed up we are?

I Sadly imagined the Obineze barracks would have fallen....My gee, we are in a mess..who would save us??

Well, this is not about been patriots but the very truth.

Our police are like high school bullies.
They freak you out till you stand.
When you stand, they chicken out

The Nigerian military needs to... the Nigerian military needs to....

Where’s the police fgs? The Nigerian police force is dead, instead of addressing this we keep using the military to clean up.

Wahala dey for road

You can't give what you don't have.
Did you see any police presence yesterday.?
Or you wanna say no police outfit had jurisdiction
Over that town.?
The NPF is down the drain. Understand that fact and have peace of mind.

Leave that town for NPF to handle and it will fall under a week.

This is not a drill bro.
This guy's have tasted the waters and would be back to swim.

If we keep being simps around armed groups, we are only going to continue looking sexy.
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by demolition: 12:57pm On Jan 26, 2021

Seems the ESN prob was a mad success for them.

The Nigerian military needs to take eyes in the sky as a priority.

Imagine the guts, rolling around with AK's in SUV's doing street fighting with the NA?

Really?

With proper eyes in the sky, set up a cluster of small chase teams and funnel them to other receiving teams.
The earlier we know that this is not a drill. The better.

I'm beginning to think there is nothing like deterrence again in the country
