Based on the above verses, God clearly mentioned what is titheable, and money was not part of the items to be tithed.

IN CONCLUSION:
Any fraudster that comes with the excuse that money was not in use because the Israelites were predominantly farmers and cattle rearers...should read Exodus 30 v 13-16 and explain to us why God demanded money from these same Israelites...but specified crops and livestock as tithes in Deuteronomy 14 v 22-29;

Also, I'll be waiting for scriptural references where God made tithing mandatory for gentiles as well.

First and foremost I must confess, I enjoyed everything you wrote to the last penny . Your revelations and understanding of the Bible is so sound, I only want to thank you now for contributing to this forum. In due time, I will respond to explain how the economic/financial system of things have changed when compared to those good old days and whether or not a gentile should be tithing. Do you guys want to hear the truth? I have written down in this forum the wrong and right approach towards dreams before.

I sense that God is not glorified in the way you guys are interpreting. I gave example of Daniel in the Bible. I distinguished between seeking to get your dreams interpreted all the times, which is so wrong, and seeking to do the will of God. Although Daniel interpreted dreams, he sort only to do the will of God and He was filled with the Spirit of God.

Now I will show you the pitfall in you guys method. God as you know him, the FATHER, is not living on earth. This may sound like heresy, but wait a second, is the Holy Spirit not God? God is here with us through His Spirit. He lives in us. Once the Holy Spirit lives in you, dream becomes secondary because the oga Himself lives in us. We can pray and cancel dreams, change lives and destinies in JESUS name.

You guys sees gbomogbomo, evil spirits, charms, flying in dreams, as bad omen. YOU GUYS WILL FEEL SO SILLY IF GOD GIVES YOU THE SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT. The earth is full of evils spirits everywhere and angels. You rub shoulders with evil spirits all the times without knowing. We should be conscious of God's power and be happy and to continually praise Him, and ask for HIS will. You guys spend time discussing about eating food in the dream.

From the first day I saw your post I prayed and asked God, just that I am writing my final master degree exams, I could not respond. The lord minister to me that the prophetess have no blame in this matter. She of course, told you that you could sometimes see people's faces, but becareful not to come to quick conclusion. There is nothing wrong sharing your dream with her, life is not precise mathematics. We sometimes need to satisfy our doubts or curiosity. However it is your own very relative, a woman, whose hands are not clean is responsible for what you saw. Your walk with God does not pleases her. Let me explain briefly that if as a child of God you have not realized that even since the day Adam fell (long ago) satan have been running the show on earth controlling the media, movies, and our governments in order to contradict bible and to hide the truth of what is coming on the earth, then you may be carried away by the many lies that have even penetrated the fabric of Christianity itself. Let me concentrate only on Nemesis, our evil twin star. How did we get here? What did Jesus Himself say about these endtime events? Luke 21: 25-27

“And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides. People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken."

Did you see that our Sun, Moon and Planet would be affected by strange signs. Yes including the stars... the approaching Planet X is now officially deemed a red and dusty dwarf star, also considered to be our binary twin by some...who knows jare? Can you see for the first time ever cyclone have struck Africa twice (within a month apart) killing hundreds and causing monumental catastrophe. Our magnetic north pole have began shifting rapidly so pilots recalibrate their compasses almost every year now. Our Sun is no longer rising where it supposed to be...it has shifted as much as 6 degree, which is not so small that your keen eyes cannot have noticed. Why is that not on the global news? You cannot even drink rain water anymore because of long chemtrails pouring out of the exhaust of planes...toxic artificial clouds (climate control engineering) to hide what is coming upon the earth and the infra red rays being spilled out by the approaching Nemesis!

Now there are some subtlelities I want to point out here. Sin is a spiritual thing. But the flesh is physical and always alive provided we are not dead, so no need to use words like KILLING the flesh. Dont be a murderer Bible is actually talking about SIN here and not literally about the FLESH. Rather the analogy is that sin works through the flesh to rear its ugly head. What is Born of the Spirit is spirit. So we do not have to crucify our bodies literally again... because we are crucified with Christ in that One Big sacrifice. ,,,"'

Bible usage of flesh therefore was solely to describe the works of the flesh or sin that manifests through the body. Bible is not talking about the real FLESH as if we are a carnibbalistic race.

Now that I have pointed out that bible is talking about sin, the words like WE ARE CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST (Gal. 2: 2) now make sense. For example quoting Roman 6:6: "For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin". You can see there is no mention that we should crucify ourselves or bodies, but rather we are crucified with Jesus, because we are talking about SIN here not the real flesh.

Now let us take a look at carrying your cross and what that meant! On all occassions that Jesus said we should carry our cross, He simply wanted us to deny ourselves and follow Him: "Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 16:24,25. This meant that we deny ourselves to identify with the crucifixion, death and resurretion of Jesus!

Aceed I actually have no intentions of making a doctrine out of the FLESH outside the concept of SIN that we already know. But on the contrary when it comes to deliverance from the bondage of sin, that is where my emphasis lies... it becomes very vital to know how to engage in spiritual exercises because how we control our physical bodies, as taught by bible, matters a lot!

Just to help the learning process, I have checked that bible says we can overcome the WORLD, we can overcome the DEVIL, but I never see where bible say we overcome the FLESH, which is our own very body! We can only put it under CONTROL, SUBJECTION, SUBDUE or MORTIFY the works of the flesh, meaning that fleshly sins like sexual impurities do not just go away (on the contrary because we have a natural healthy biological sexual urge) but we are urged by bible to CONTROL our passions. I do not enjoy commenting on other people's ideas because of what is in my head... for now I do not want to sound too critical of your ideas or make you feel bad... infact I want you to feel good. Well as you noticed bible said here that, for the unmarried it is better to remain unmarried. So I am not against being unmarried. Bible said next, but if you cannot control yourself, it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Being grammatically correct the word BETTER is used by bible in these two instances in a comparative sense to emphasize that there could be some benefits! Bible never said it is a cure or we must do it... Jesus is the cure to everything rather and He is the Word of God, so how can we ignore His Word which is eternal? Devil may force people to do His will, God never! He gives us choices, especially to love Him as we wish that is why there would be judgment and rewards, starting with His children.

Well my advice to the young man was for him to try and get married. Now it is only an advice.

The Paul that wrote 1cor. 7:9, is the same Paul that wrote 1cor. 7:1 and 1cor. 7:7 .
So you see, you'll have to read the whole chapter to see where he was coming from and where he was headed .

I Google internet for bible scriptures on how to overcome sexual sins, these are what I found:

1 Corinthians 6:18 "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body."

I Thessalonians 4:3-5 "It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God"

And now I am sorry to be the one to inform you these as eye opener, because we guys are taking sexual sins lightly and failling to understand carnality...

I think why holiness is lacking in churches today is because we think the demostrations of power is sanctity. In my life, I have witnessed so many unprintable things commited by so called men of God. I think we are failling to realize that the heart of man is desperately wicked and deceitful. Maybe I should speak out provided I did not call names...one day a well known bishop that does deliverances saw me with a pretty lady and told me he wants her for secretary. Barely two weeks after she worked with him, what she told me this married bishop did to her broke my heart. I cannot say that here. I took my jotter and show her a dream I wrote down about this bishop more than five years ago (I saw him having affairs with a young girl in a village) and told the lady that I was not surprised therefore that he did this to her. And again a married pastor I used to give access to my house to sleep, and whom I sometimes give my tithes, slept with one lady (ladies?) in my room when I was at work! Until when I noticed that he has started to bewitch me also, I decided to get rid of him out of my life!

I will stop here. A word or two is enough for the wise! I advice you all to minimize running to men of God for prayers at any given opportunity and sharing your problems with them. You will definitely fall victim one day. The times we live in is so full of evil! We all are supposed to have personal relationships with God! As per our enemy the flesh, nobody can tame it, not even pastors. We are supposed rather to subdue the cravings of the flesh daily. These can be done through fasting, praying, studying the Word, worshipping, renewing our minds, fleeing fornication, not being idle, but be engaged in positive activities, fixing our thoughts on heavenly things, making a covenant with our eyes not to lust, and avoiding worldly things that DEFILES the heart!

I do not know what you want me to say here? But may be I should elaborate here for bible students. Concerning any temptation or sin, we have 3 enemies...the Devil, the World, and our Flesh. Divide this into percentage you have 33.33% for each. Exclude the Devil only, the lust of the Flesh and the lust of the Eyes (the world, the pride of life) constitute 66.66% alone. When we do not stop watching movies (Hollywood, Nollywood, Bollywood), pornography, and listening and dancing to worldly songs that bombard our ears everyday; when we fail to realize that the flesh can never be tamed (so bible says we have to renew our mind Daily, and be filled with the Spirit Daily, confessing, renouncing and forsaking our sins immediately) we will be caged in a spiritual bondage as a result of our physical disobediences... I do not see how you call this a spiritual issue when the root cause is the flesh and the world more than the Devil. Bible says sexual sins is against your body not against your spirit. Now if you say marriage is physical it Is because sexual sins is physical too!

Where we need physical application of bible principles you guys spiritualize things. Where we need spiritual application of bible principles, you guys prefer to be concerned with physical things. When I said bible tells us that only the Devil is our real enemy, not man, we prefer that witches and wizard (mankind) to be our enemies, thus we stopped binding the Devil or holding night vigils. Instead we prefer killing human enemies and praying for prosperity only. Why will boko haram not strive in Nigeria now and kill we Christians like chicken?

Now that I am insisting that struggle with sexual impurities takes a more practical and physical approach, we say it is a spiritual problem and thus exempt ourselves from taking any practical steps! Practising bible instructions is like living a prayer Life because God's Word is in you. Prayer is of no effect when you either outrightly refuse to believe the Word of God in some aspects or degree or refused to practise it! Show me in bible where we were given spiritual prayer instruction to overcome sexual impurities?! I always see bible use words like "flee" fornication, "renew" your mind, "walk" in the Spirit so you will not yield to the flesh, "set your mind" on things above, "carry your cross" daily and follow me, and so on. May be we need foundation classes on sanctification and how to live in sanctity. Same apostle Paul wrote I Cor. 7:9 and not me. Whats your point man in discrediting that?

Let me summarize my point, everything you write, if It Is in the bible, I accept It. We can improve our knowledge with time. Even if it does not apply to me now should not mean I should discredit you or the idea. Bible is eternal, one day i may need that scriptures! What you call spirituality sometimes is not quoting the Word but doing the Word. In that case you demostrate the Word when you act on it, than when you merely quote it with your lips! Mind you Jesus is a living entity able to help you act and practice the Word. Instead of prayering let this young man take time to study the Word of God prayerfully rather and fill himself with understanding how God works!

1. This is a spiritual issue. Marrying (which I'd a physical issue can't solve it)

2. Its a form of demonic oppression. You need to seek Intensive prayers and deliverance.

3. Note that being a born again don't solve it. You have to be very aggressive. Note the times it happens and embark on vigils /Bible reading. This must be inclusive to the deliverance.

Yes Enkaynwa, that is why I sometimes think that a pseudo form of witch hunting of people souls do exists in many bible believing churches nowadays. If I am to have my way (yes I have experienced things similar to or worst than yours) I prefer attending churches that have men of God with character integrity than charisma, power or sweet mouth. I want to avoid the kind of sleepless nights you experienced with these men that lack honesty and truth. I read pastor K. C. Price books anytime I stumble on it to learn about integrity because this is the only thing that can stand the test of time. In that respect, he is one of my favorite author, apart from Watch Man Nee!

I implore you do not be sad. Many years back in school I ran to a Church for financial assistance. They helped me the first time but when I came the second time, what the elder said and the way he looked at me made me wish I was never born.

Gradually, as I grow in the Lord I even began to avoid open invitations to be helped. The people you confide in sometimes use what they know about you against you and for their own profit. If you do not overcome anything, how would their be a reward? And if you do not overcome how can you be a light and example to others? This is the behaviour of stars that bible compares us to...some shines brightest like the alpha star, while blackhole gulps light out of space and destroy by swallowing everything in its paths.

Hi guys.I have been a silent follower of this thread and commend the efforts that have been put in place into sustaining this page.

I had a dream last night and would appreciate if someone can help me make sense of it.

Before i slept last night,my plan was to have lunch at an asian store not far from my office today.

In the dream,i saw myself at a restaurant managed by some chinese people and they were selling amala,ewedu and stew.Because it is unsual to get nigerian food where i reside,i opted to go for the amala even though it was sold by chinese people.

As i expected,the food was off and i could not finish it eating it.It was quite nauseating and because of my displeasure,they allowed me go without paying fully for the meal.

When i stepped out of the restaurant,i realised i was with 3 friends and we were going home together.Suddenly my hand started scratching me repeatedly.By the time i looked at my hand to scratch it the 4th time or so,i saw a live worm moving round my wrist.My skin became transparent and i could see the slightly big worm moving round.

I instantly held the point where it was so it could not travel any further upwards into my body and was going to the nearest hospital to have it removed.At this point one of my friends(the only person i could recognise in the dream and not so close to me in real life)saw a pharmacy close by and suggested i seek for help there first.

When we got there though,the attendant said the pharmacist was not around and she could not help me.At this time i insisted we start heading to the hospital immediately but out of nowhere,someone from a nearby pharmacy threw a bandage to that my friend to give me so i can tie my wrist to instead of using just my hand to stop the worm"s movement.

I woke at this point very nauseous and i prayed.

Can anyone please provide any insight

Hello we have analyzed in previous posts, based on the book of Job, that God speaks through dreams and visions to turn us away from doing evil and to know his will and be saved.

Not all dreams are given by God...meaning that He did not speak to us. Some dreams can be demonic attacks, wandering thoughts, daydreaming, or ordinary dreams. The later seemed to be the case about your dream here. I have said severally here and Pdozie just repeated it now, please seek to know and do the will of God! Dreams about demonic attacks or ordinary dreams are not important at all because you should take authority over the Devil, resist him, and he will flee.

Well that is their opinion! But what do you have to say about why we christians no longer use the word RESURRECTION anymore? Please show me in the bible where the word RAPTURE was mentioned or used? Did you understand my question?

I had a dream 3 weeks ago,I saw two snakes in my compound one was crawling d other one was on a car tire.
On the 19th of march at night my brothere saw a green snake on a bulb wire in our compound sleeping we informed our neighbors and they burnt it.
Last night I also dreamt of a snake but it was only one I saw at my compound I could not recall what I dreamt of and I don't know what it means am really afraid.

Ahahaha this bobo seemed worried! Maybe if you want to hear that it is the devil, I would say he hardly appear in that format... he often appear as an angel of light, like a family member, a friend or as a fine girl.
