Hello House, God's favorite pikin is in the in house so no shakings... we go make am whether the devil like it or not. NO WEAPON FASHION AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER! Tithing is not a MUST DO. Nothing in life is a must do because God gave us choices. But tithing is so important if you want to get the fullness of Abraham's blessings. You have heard it written that GOD IS ETERNAL. If He said something in time past (and you know Jesus never said that we should stop tithing) it is relevant for ever. This is not the figment of my imagination and God is not a madman or overbearing. I guess someone is taking tithing as a burden, because they are looking at what they stand to lose, and not at what God said they stand to gain. The spiritual mathematics of sowing and losing before you reap and get does not make sense, and will never make sense till you accept it by faith.

I might or not stop responding to you depending how the thread goes or how I feel from the content of your response? Because I'm beginning to feel you are using more sentiments peddled with a little verse here and I little verse there

First of all, I'm never equating myself to God as giver OF LIFE....you came up here with "sentiments" added like or as if I'm equating myself to God as giver of life. When I said that I'm a STANDSTILL GIVER.... off course everyone reading understand that in context I'm referring to money and anything someone can easily afford to give....my time, my documents to invite someone or as co sponsor etc. So let's understand that.

2. Everything any man gives, it's ALWAYS A PERCENTAGE OF WHATEVER HE OR SHE HAS OR WAS GIVEN. If I have 100 and I DECIDED IN MY HEART..... according to scripture you quoted, to give 15 percent....I still have 85 percentage to deal with my expense and bills from and doesn't mean I'm keeping the whole of 85 percentage to myself. That's why scripture says decide in your heart what you will give IN KEEPING UP WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD...(my paraphrase)

3. The scripture you quoted also said, ....NOT UNDER COMPULSION....you should give. Don't you think that doesn't meet tithe requirement because tithe is a FIXED PERCENTAGE...a tenth! It's being legalistic and A MUST DO! Christian giving is a or wasn't taught TO BE A MUST DO OR BEING LEGALISTIC as though guided BY A LAW TO DO IT.

4. When I give to help growing church in Nigeria or support a growing ministry, it's a certain percentage of my income and when I give to care for my wife and parent in Nigeria that's a certain percentage also, when I care for friends and those in need, that's another percentage....I WON'T CALL NONE OF THOSE TITHE because every requirement you have to meet for it to me called Tithe is NO MORE IN PLACE AND EFFECTIVE UNDER THE NEW TESTAMENT.

5. LASTLY, I want to REFUTE the FACT that, there are people WHO DO NOT give the so called "TITHE" but still score A1 or excellent in exams and also have good health, blessed with children and good things of life....what is it responsible for the BLESSINGS of those kind of people if THEY DO NOT TITHE.... because what I see your doing is tying up your grades and success TO TITHING as if you just tithe and go to sleep and don't have any other input whatsoever.
Though you took time to write defensively, but I will still bare my mind. I do not like ambiguity. Please it would be better to be precise about the facts of what you gave and how God blessed you. Well I got B2 in math in 1988 when I was not tithing and again I got A1 in 2007 on my second attempt when I was not tithing, so I wonder why you took delight in outrightly discrediting others. God blessed you because you gave,
1. please tell us exactly what you did,
2. what you gave,
3. and how it happened that He blessed you
I want to solved my problems by understanding how God works. I did not get to where I am here today by storytelling. Please I BEG YOU be practical... I will commend you when you write what WE LEARNED from I promised.

First let me say this,

The kingdom truth ARE HIDDEN AND REVEALED IN THE PARABLES OF CHRIST. That being said, let me go to my points in response to what you said above:

1. There are millions of people who do not tithe but ARE STILL BLESSED OR BETTER BLESSED SPIRITUALLY, FINANCIALLY, MENTALLY, ACADEMICALLY, HEALTH WISE etc as you mentioned above? I'm a living example and also knows people who are doing well or more than those paying tithes. So the question is....WHAT IS WORKING FOR THOSE NOT TITHING BUT STILL ENJOY THE SAME OR MORE THAN THOSE WHO PAY TTHE.... I'll tell you what it is ----- The kingdom truth Christ hid in HIS PARABLES....The heavenly Father makes rain fall on the just and the unjust!

2. What good father will tell his children to bring tithes first BEFORE he will bless them?

3. It's typical of tithe payers to always or mostly think from their minds that God is talking to them not knowing their thinking of their mind how maybe their paying tithe is what is working for them whenever they making some progress.

4. I'm am BLESSED TODAY NOT BECAUSE I PAY TITHE BUT BECAUSE IM A STANDSTILL GIVER. I give to people around me that I see suffering, I set people up with business capitals, I support church that are just growing, etc...I do these and don't even want them calling me to thank me. You know why? I know to whom much is given, much is expected and I was given by God for myself but for myself and people around me.
Can you see how crafty satan could be, man? He is calling himself a GIVER! And that God does not speak to tithe payers. Bible students please judge between me and this bobo o....

The first lessons I learned from God while tithing is that only GOD should be called the GIVER. I will never call myself a giver or tither not because it is wrong to do so but because it is not a title you achieve. I merely refer to my actions as TITHING because it is a continuous process of giving. It is not supposed to be static or one time thing. I really want to be sober in my estimation of self when compared to the GIVER of Life.

I find the claims of most people who call themselves GIVERS not to be substantiated. I got A1 in Mathematics in GCE at ordinary level, so let me substantiate mathematically what you should present as proof of your giving. If you refuse to tithe but decide to be give, whatever you call it, if your giving is up to 10% (weekly, monthly, or yearly... time is only used here relatively) of your total income wealth (wealth is not merely money and that is why I give slightly more than the tithe of my monetary income) you will achieve the same result as someone who is tithing. If you give 20% of your income monthly, then you get more blessed than someone who is giving 10%. If you give 100% or your widows mite... then the blessing relative to the sacrifice would be at the apogee and God would respond very fast too. Because giving is relative to what you have.

I am giving you this food for thought... I stated precisely what I do give per annum, so you should give us the exact percentage of your income that you give per annum, or else you are simply bluffing. If you do, I will help you determine whether you are really getting blessed as you claimed to be. But if your giving is below 10% per annum... then man I am sorry DIVINITY considers that a failure mark. There is a percentage that is deemed "sparingly" and "bountifully".

The law of sowing and reaping is so very precise and clear. 2 Corinthian 9: 6 – 10: “6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

You can see here that we do no disapprove of people being a GIVER as you call yourself. But how often do you give? And how do you measure the strength of your sacrifice? Is it by the amount of money you give or the percentage relative to your income? This factor is so important because you could give one million naira and consider yourself a great giver because it is plenty, but you have given less than 1%, while another chap might give N2,000 and GOD considers it a very great sacrifice because he gave 100% of his income. For now, I am not being sentimental but factual. But let it be known that if you give less than 10% then you are not qualified for all the full widows of heaven blessings. HE THAT HAS AN EAR LET HIM HEAR. You can not give less than your (qualitative first born fruit) which God also demarcated as tithing, quantitatively. Once your giving exceeds this pass grade, called BOUNTIFULLY, then any other thing na jara, as baba God go bless you yanfu yanfu.

Please verify what is meant to be an outcast in old testament Israel. So if you agreed with me that the outcast Levites are the widows and fatherless...of course everyone have a father... then our tithes should only bè given to the churches or priests. Tithe is holy and was only intended for the priests and for the house of GOD and God's work. It was never intended to be given for any others purposes! Just take your time and study how tithes was used in several scriptures, not just one scripture that the context was not well understood, and draw a general conclusion on God's prefferred usage of tithes!

That is OLD TESTAMENT

Just as we dont kill Lambs anymore, we dont tithe.

Most tithe chopping GOs get private jet.
So it works for the GOs just not the Church members.

Since these Pastoreuers love the old testament doctrine of tithes, then explain to us why they dont share the tithes with the less privileged as God commands?

The bible commands that the tithes should be given to the poor, instead the poor tithe to keep the GOs flying their jets

Deuteronomy 26:12
When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
Hey man are you blind? The first name on the list is the Levite? But you overlooked It and glided to the poor! The Levites are designated as priests and all tithes must bè given unto them. They are the only tribe of Israel who do not have land, house, or properties of their own. They are considered an outcast like the fatherless, widows, because they were not given any inherintance in Israel. They may only sleep in donated buildings or the churches. They are not even permitted to work outside the churches. If you do not feed them with God's money, they are finished!

Simply put,

Tithe since ages and since Nigerian Christians had been paying, they have not become one of the richest or wealthiest people on the planet earth but rather their so called pastors have being ranked top ten richest in Africa......Pause for a minute and RE-Think about this!

Bottom line, tithe had never made any tithe payer rich or wealthy, it's is hardworking/deligence, God's grace on you and your work, effective use of your brain or senses or ideas to plan/management of your money so your money can work for you.....THESE ARE WHAT RICH AND WEALTHY PEOPLE DO THEY DO NOT PRAY TO BE BLESS THROUGH TITHING NEITHER DO THEY TITHE.
Well the statistics should tell. From 1990 when I gave my life to Christ newly till 2009, my average monthly earning never exceeded N10,000 at the peak! That is a periodi of twenty years and man I have become old already, passed the age of useful employment.

When I started tithing in 2010, I was giving exactly N800/month and by 2015 when I left Nigeria, I was sowing N35,000/month as tithing. And that was a period of 5 years! By your surmise maybe this was a good coincidence or I have simply become lucky while tithing when I was over 40 years old?! I like this luck then...

Now I am in Europe. Under 5 years I got my Bachelor degree also and now I am doing my Master degree. When I asked GOD why this was happening while tithing, He told me... HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT TITHING IS NOT INTENDED TO MAKE YOU RICH? RATHER IT IS INTENDED TO MAKE YOU BLESSED. I HAVE BLESSED YOU FINANCIALLY, MENTALLY, SPIRITUALLY, ACADEMICALLY, HEALTH WISE, AND EVEN MATERIALLY. WITHIN 5 YEARS YOU HAVE ACHIEVED ALL YOUR DREAMS, BOUGHT LAND, RENTED A BIG APARTMENT, GOTTEN A DEGREE, AMASSED WEALTH AND TRAVELLED TO BASE ABROAD IN ITALY.

I said GOD forgive me. I thought it was to get us richer FINANCIALLY only! But now I know you intended to BLESS us and to keep us happy and contented! So I will tell people the truth. Back to you, since you did not believe in BLESSING since tithing did not augur well with you? Do you believe in GOODLUCK at least? Maybe I HAVE simply been Buona Fortuna (in italiano) while tithing so I like losing my money that way to churches and pastors.
Christianity EtcRe: Seeing Demons, Angels, Fallen Angels, Spirits.. - Hsp's by Dencotext: 1:42am On Jan 09, 2019
Hey guys, I had a terrific vision in Italy. I dream that a ghost was trying to do something funny, so I shouted JESUS. I saw that a child was immediately saved from dying at the hand of this ghost. At that same moment, the scene changed... I suddenly found myself surrounded by some glorious looking angels.

The first set of angels closest to me were 3 in number, and they looked so normal that they could have been mistaken for ordinary men. They wore straight plain-white garments; they weren't tall at all but were of average heights. They seemed to me to have spent more time on earth (I believe, acting as guarding angels) because they did not radiate heavenly light. I don't think that looking normal like us changed the fact that they were angels.

My gaze moved up to another set of angels that have wings, standing close nearby, maybe about 2 or 3 in number. I was astonished. They were very tall, radiating the light and power of GOD. They looked so awesome and breath taking. My amazement was that they were female angels in the sense that they looked feminine in appearance... their faces, hair styles and body curves [like their breasts] were definitely feminine looking. And they were heads and shoulders taller than the 3 guardian angels. Then I looked up above them. My gaze fell on their winged arch angel leader, who was approximately 7 feet tall. This was a really very tall angel that carried self with authority. The angel looked so muscular that you could feel the strength and power oozing out of the body. The muscular nature made this angel to look like a male warrior but the feminine appearance bespoke of servitude. Each of these angels wore different color of dresses not necessarily white but nonetheless light colored, seamless gown with vests.

Then I noticed a third set of angels, whom the arch angel leader was talking with. They looked more different. They were giants, male looking angels, that towered above the winged angels, except for the arch angel leader who was almost as tall as them. They seemed like band of warring angels and though I did not count them, I think I saw 4 of them. (Just imagine that the tallest heights men can get to is roughly 8 feet and you were staring at a group of men who were well over 7 feet (or about 8 feet) tall. They would look approximately the same height in the sky when you look up at them.) They wore gowns, waist bands, and had on their feet buckled leather shoes. They radiated so much power and strength that I was by then very petrified. I could not stop looking at the arch angel and this band of angels. They simply communicated by thoughts... they were discussing in a language. I only perceived that the warring angels seemed to give the arch angel the information that the battle was already over. The arch angel leader also replied and said something that made them all happy and assured.

Then I woke up, and I was very astonished, to say the least... my theology that angels were men or at least male looking only, was being shattered and that agitated me. I could not argue with what I saw or get up out of bed... everything I saw did not make sense to me at all. How can I tell people that I saw female angels? My conclusion is that even though angels may look like a male or female (cherubs may look like an ox, eagle, man, or lion), they are not actually a man or woman or eagle or lion but are spirit beings. In that respect they are simply called 'angels' and since we consider male and female to be a 'man' when not referring to gender, angels should not be referred by gender, a connotation which will be out of context, because they cannot marry or have sex. But of course, if an angelic gender simply means looking like a man or woman in the ultimate sense, then I agree that there are male and female angels. Moreover my vision seemed to sanction that against my wilder judgment.

PLEASE MY VISION IS NOT WRITTEN TO HOLD ANY PROOF OR DOCTRINE. I NEVER THOUGHT BEFORE THEN THAT THEIR WAS A FEMALE OR FEMALE LOOKING ANGEL... SO I DO NOT REALLY KNOW WHAT TO MAKE OF THIS DREAM. I ONLY HOPE THAT THIS WAS JUST A MERE DREAM... ONLY THAT THE DREAM LOOKED SO REAL LIKE A VISION, ESPECIALLY WHEN I WAS SURROUNDED BY THESE ANGELS, I HAD TIME TO OBSERVE THEM.

What is your experience about tithing?
Christianity EtcThe Significance of Tithing and Firstfruits for Believers by Dencotext(op): 11:44pm On Jan 08, 2019
Hello house,

I have discovered some fundamental truths about tithing and firstfruits. These are the only two forms of giving that the lord declares to be holy unto Him. Tithing or one-tenth is the divine QUANTITATIVE standard, while firstfruits is the divine QUALITATIVE standard how our gifts presented to HONOR God should be. Do you even know why? God gave us his firstborn son JESUS and expected the same gesture if we wish to honor Him directly. Giving to God your firstborn Isaac or firstfruits melts God's heart; the memory is sacred and holy unto GOD because we can now see that HE gave us HIS own firstborn JESUS WHO died a brutal death for us. He did not withhold any good thing from us in that single sacrifice. And that was why God accepted Abel's offering because he saw the blood and also the firstfruits. Cain's gifts were rejected not because he sinned in any way but because it did not meet the divine standard. AFTER ABEL, God has not accepted anything less than the blood or firstfruits or tithes from any of his servants. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, the Israelites, all were commanded to honor him with their firstfruits and tithes (and the blood to receive forgiveness). GOD IS A SPIRIT, He does not change or lower His standard over time. This divine specification is now made clearer to us why God hallows tithing and the firstfruits... JESUS HIS FIRSTBORN WAS OFFERED TO DIE FOR US.

You cannot honor God directly with anything less than your firstborn fruits or your tithes. When you give offerings to the church, or do charity works, you are sowing for the kingdom. But to honor God if you so wish, it is like showing respect and trying to catch His attention or invoking His favors, and there is a great blessing for observing this ritual, you have to give your tithes and/or your firstfruits. It is a ritual that has worked wonders for me; I have CRIED severally when God bent human rules to favor me blatantly.

1. it is the first commandment, which states that you should LOVE GOD with all your heart.

2. but if you to do charity to your fellow man, then you are keeping the second commandment which states that you should LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself.

COLUMN FOR BIBLE QUOTATIONS
1. Corinthians 15:23: "But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ."
2. Exodus 22:29: Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.
3. Roman 11:16: If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
3. Matthew 5:14. Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill.''
4. Leviticus 27:30: 'Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S; it is holy to the LORD.
5. Malachi 3:10: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows."
6. Numbers 18: 17: “But the firstborn of a cow, or the firstborn of a sheep, or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy.”
7. Leviticus 27: 30 – 33: “30 Every tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the trees, is the LORD’s; it is holy to the LORD. 31 If a man wishes to redeem some of his tithe, he shall add a fifth to it. 32 And every tithe of herds and flocks, every tenth animal of all that pass under the herdsman’s staff, shall be holy to the LORD. 33 One shall not differentiate between good or bad, neither shall he make a substitute for it; and if he does substitute for it, then both it and the substitute shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.”
8. Matthew 22: 37 – 40: “37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
9. 2 Corinthian 9: 6 – 10: “6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work."

So because of the less than 250K you now earn monthly that makes you richer than other Christians who have stopped tithing? income or salary increase is a natural progression available to all God's human creatures whether they tithe or not.
What you earn was what I earned at the time I last tithed and my income monthly has multiplied almost 10 times ever since I stopped tithing and I have since acquired huge properties ad established a number growing businesses.

One prompt was when a concerned brother during discussion on the applicability of tithing challenged me to stop paying tithe for just 3 months and see the evil that will befall me. I took the challenge in stride and have not looked back since then. In between, issues of life not more than what any other Christian I know also experienced came my way, likewise unprecedented blessing and breakthrough also came. No huge problem without solution came my way, the only difference is that I am happier with the worthy causes and lives I was privileged to touch positively. And they were mostly to people who lack the capacity to give me anything in return. I am only happy because they are happy.

That is more than I can ever wish for from any funny pastor pouring oil or laying hands on me because of one gift or donation.
Man are you really a Christian at all? I see that you are trying to damage this guy's testimony who claimed to be tithing. And moreover calling pastors 'funny' is more like mocking; you seemed to lack humility when you discredit others. I can bet my last penny that you do not like giving. Most billionaires never lived to enjoy their wealth because they are thrifty. The bible never taught us to tithe because we want to get rich (FINANCIALLY) as all your emphasis seemed to be based on. We get blessed all way round is exactly the picture why we are tithing. We are seeking the goodwill of God almighty by honoring HIM with our substance. Humorously speaking, if God refuses to bless me but throw me into heaven because I tithe, would be better than me not honoring Him with my substance and getting rich. What message do you intend to pass here?

Already I cannot tackle you on the issue of finances because you are so adamant that you are wealthy... God knows better. But if you continue to discredit men of God, then neither will God overlook your little sins. When we are highly critical of other church members on earth, how can we live in heaven with the people whom God forgave their sins? I believe not in a funny idea, but I believe in the essence why I give in love... making it to heaven is the goal. We should not allow our personal differences to be a stumbling block.

Anything you do in God's kingdom without understanding won't benefit you.

many tithe with the understanding that they are donating to their church, their pastor or donating to God. And that's a wrong understanding of tithing.
My guy, I am tithing regularly, but I have discovered that what you said here is not correct. My thoughts are irrelevant after tithing. He simply look at my actions and bless me. I have thought good, bad, made mistakes and repented, but it did not erase the law of sowing and reaping... give it shall be given unto you....good measures...

One more thing, you do not give to God. Nobody can give God anything... your tithes and firstfruits are the only form of giving the bible recorded as HOLY unto GOD and separated. ABEL GAVE FIRSTFRUITS, GOD GAVE US HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN FIRSTBORN SON JESUS, ABRAM GAVE HIS ISAAC. The action is symbolic to God...because it breaks and touches His heart.

By revelation, I have asked GOD why he considers tithing and firstfruit holy, and He told me that apart from the blood, He does not accept anything less than tithing and firstfruits if someone wishes to honor Him God directly... that is why Abel firstfruits were accepted and Cain's gifts rejected... not because Cain did anything bad at all. God went further to say but you can give to the church or to your fellow man any other form of offerings. But if you want to HONOR Him God directly, it must be your tithes or one-tenth (which has something to do with QUANTITY) or your firstfruits (which have something to do with the QUALITY of the product)...because He GOD gave his firstborn JESUS to shed His blood for us, the tithes and firstfruits is exactly a QUANTITATIVE and QUALITATIVE ways to reciprocate His frank gesture in thanksgiving to HIM. GOD created us in HIS image. We have the capacity to emulate God's love. No greater love can a man show than to lay down his live, or give his firstborn. Anything less than that meant you are not loving God with all your heart, 100%.

Hebrews 7:1-10 says absolutely nothing about a required monetary tithe. It shows the tithe of war spoils that Abram gave to Melchizedek, and the tithe of agriculture that the Levites received of the children of Israel.
Come on man, do not be deaf. I gave a personal testimony of how I am tithing regularly and God had blessed me. I am now based in Europe, doing my master degree in engineering. Hi?

Come on man, its more blessed to give than to receive and that is why the word of God is difficult to practice! My oyibo pastor church here is reaping the benefit of my tithing but when I wanted to talk about giving, he told me before hand not to mention the word tithe on the pulpit. Although God warned me the night before I preached not to talk about giving to the Church because they were not ready, but to talk about the GIVER (the giver of life is GOD). After I preached about the GIVER, I BELIEVE NOT ONLY IN DOING BUT IN PRACTICING THE WORD OF GOD SPONTANEOUSLY, I gave my January fruits as a seed to the church but mentioned that...I DO NOT WISH TO DISCLOSE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I WAS GIVING. But when the pastor saw that the money was huge in euro (he literally almost fainted when I gave him the money) and he used it to buy equipment for the church, he called to inform me that he wanted to announce what I gave to the church.

Man, I do not believe in hypocrisy. If you do not believe in tithing and firstfruit (because I wonder whether it is not the act of GIVING) then why are you impressed with the amount of money I gave by faith? I remembered that I started tithing faithfully in Nigeria with the sum of N200 every week (or N800/month). But the day my tithe clocked N35,000 in Nigeria the igbo lady who was the financial usher almost fainted... I could not believe that she began to act funny towards me. You cannot understand the ways of a tither because God blesses Him in a mysterious ways. I have since learned that it is better to camouflage your giving when your blessings have exceeded a certain level. It is even a semi madness here in europe to those who do not believe in what you are doing.

I am very happy now (as God made me to understand) that not everyone (people like you for example) would believe and act on his WORD. We choose the ones that made sense to our flesh and pocket. And God told me that because not everyone want to do what I wanted them to be doing that is why I will continue to blessed YOU. They will remain where they are, but you will continue to be blessed!
Christianity EtcRe: Do We Have Female Angels In Heaven? by Dencotext:
Hey guys, I had a powerful vision in Italy. While sleeping, I dreamed that a ghost was walking toward me, so I shouted JESUS. In an instant the dream changed, suddenly I was surrounded by bright light, from whence I saw glorious looking angels.

The first set of angels closest to me were about 3 or 4 in number, and they looked like ordinary men. They wore white cloths; and they were average heights or 5 footers. They seemed like guarding angels because they did not radiate light much may be because they spend much time on earth.

My gaze moved up to the next set of angels, standing close nearby, about 3 in numbers. I was astonished. They were very tall, radiating the glory of GOD. These were women with wings in the sense that they looked completely feminine... their faces, hair styles and body curves were definitely feminine. They wore different colors of dresses ànd vests, ànd their legs were well covered. And they were shoulders taller than the men guardian angels. Then I looked up above them. My gaze fell on their arch angel leader, who was about 7 feet tall. This was a very big angel that carried self with authority. The angel looked so muscular and you could feel the power oozing out of the body. The muscular nature made this angel to look like a male basketball player but the face was pretty like those of the winged angels. He was dressed differently from anyone, and had a golden belt around the waist.

Then I noticed another set of angels, whom the arch angel leader was talking to. They were giant male looking angels, that towered above the winged angels; they were almost 8 feet tall so that the big arch angel reaches them around the chin. They seemed like band of warring angels and though I did not count them, I think I saw 3 or 4 of them. I could not stop looking at the arch angel though. They communicated by thoughts... I only perceived that the warring angels seemed to give the arch angel the information that the battle was already over. The arch angel leader also replied and said something that made them all happy.

TESTIMONY

There was one Ibo (church) guy that came to my room. I left him briefly in my room but I later discovered he burgled my properties. To cut a long story short I forgave him.

A year later I sat this guy down and explain to him vividly (using many illustrations about tithing) why I am prospering. I told him that although he was poor now, but if he starts tithing his life would turn around.

Few months later, I met this guy again and voiced my fear that he seemed to be laundering money of some sorts...(he has rented a good house, opened a workshop, bought land, his pocket bulging with N50,000 in my sight...was too much for me to comprehend). The bobo tried to convince me that he has started tithing, and that many people, including his pastor (who knew his stealing habits) are doubting the source of his income. When the Ibo guy eventually broke down in tears... a thing I do often when God bamboozle me while tithing... I came to terms with him. It was a feeling I well understood, a feeling of frustration that we cannot adequately explain why these things are happening around, and to worsen matters, even some of our Christian brothers envy and suspect us. I forgot to tell this guy to live a very simple life so that if possible he could have some respite.
Christianity EtcRe: Testimonies On Why We Stopped Tithing Here by Dencotext:
I wonder why some people become so holy that they say the new testament never mentioned tithing. Please read Heb 7:1-10... here the new testament said Abraham his tithes to Melchizedek the High priest. This is also not to mention that Abraham have 300 men eating under his table, he did not give his tithes to the poor for charity but gave to God (through His priest).

When you give offering, you may as well be giving unto man, but when you give tithe, God says it is his own property and should be deemed holy, you are and should be giving it only to God. Like Abraham spoken about in the new testament how he paid his tithe, you will never lack to give to the poor or feed many.

When I caught this principle in 2009, I had no job but that is when I began tithing the meagre money that passes through my hand. In 2009 I was earning about N8000 monthly, in 2013 my income moved to about N65000 monthly, by 2014 I was earning around N90000 and by 2016 ending, I was earning over N130,000.... infact my currency was $400 dollars. and by 2017 I was earning $600 (or about N230,000 monthly). And right now, I am no longer in Nigeria and my income is now in EURO... I am really scared now to mention what I am earning here because, although I am merely schooling and it had been challenging tithing, it is no longer proper to mention how much I am earning.

When God blesses you, you actually become a suspect to those who are refusing to simply obey the word of God. Now I did not say tithing will bring only money into your pocket because you should be tithing plus your wealth and not just your money income alone...if you know what I mean. It is easier for me to evaluate my wealth in terms of money, so I do it by adding extra money to my tithe income money. For instance, if my money income tithe is 50 euro and I add the extra for my wealth and pay maybe 70 euro... I see the church secretary nodding his head in disbelieve... this guy cannot be earning 700 euros monthly... when in fact I am earning less than that but not my wealth is added (things I'd be acquiring like clothes, shoes, accommodation, free feedings, and so on)!

My problem now that God has blessed me is not whether tithing is working or it is not working. Some very nice Christians (org) who decided to assist me with some funds for my education almost slapped me when I presented to them proof (receipts) of how I spent the money. Why did I pay such a huge tithe with their money they asked me? They told me to put God aside because they want their money to be used for education and feeding alone. I systematically mocked them by saying "if I did not know you guys are Christians, I would not be concerned but to say lets put God aside because we are talking about money... is of course not how we should talk..." In less than a month, I have gotten two scholarships from another source and would not really need these Christians money again even though fund was approved for me.

Yes God himself told me that the simplicity of blindly tithing by faith (which seemed foolish enough to many Christians) is why I will get opposed and misunderstood. But because it pays to obey the WORD of God, God told me to keep doing it and keep getting blessed. Not body argues with a successful man. Even these Christian guys that almost slapped me for tithing are rejoicing now that I have scholarship from another source... I know they will remember vividly what I told them about the power of tithing, but they may not want to get out of their comfort zone.

Narrow is the way that leads to heaven and only few finds it.

As for me, God's favorite pikin, I left naija with the intention to sponsor myself for at least one academic year as I wasn't on scholarship, while I hunt for scholarship mercilessly against the second academic year. It was tough, bloody and very rough sailing for many this first academic year. But big G.O.D did not let His pikin down at all. And to cut a long story short, I now have scholarship(s) in my second academic year.

Nigerians are found of thinking "all shall be well" without a second thought at the consequence of their actions. Please do not neglect planning, cutting your coat according to your size, and genuine projection. Think within your means and make sure you have the means before you leave naija. I am a dreamer and I believe that dreams come true. But I did not arrive in Italy by dreams alone but by action and hard work. Dreams mostly happen when you go to bed (at night, sleeping) but in the morning you must get up and work and actualize your dreams. The good part is the actualization part... because you have a dream, you are ready to work hard tirelessly and patiently wait to accomplish it.

No hurry in LIFE! We shall all make it in Jesus name, Amen!

Hello Guys!

"God's favorite pikin" is in the house! How are you guys faring? My life in Italy after one academic year... I need to gist you guys.. a piece of advice though.

There are two evils...(1) lack of money in Nigeria (2) and lack of money in your pocket in Italy. But the latter one should be the evil you should avoid at all cost, because if you are stranded in no man's land, na you sabi o! For 2 year master degree program like mine, it is better to have scholarship before you leave naija for Italy, or else truly be prepared to sponsor yourself for at least one academic year (while you look for scholarship for the next academic year) as no scholarship maybe given in between an academic year. Just make sure you calculate the cost of living and paying your school fees for one year carefully...(take note that every information oyibo ppl give you on the school website about the tuition, feeding and accommodation fees... is accurate... and you should not doubt it, so you will be happy to comply.)

Hello World! It is God's favorite pikin once again in the forum.

O men, on the 25 December, 2017 (two days ago) na im I take walker go church 4here. After the morning Xmas service, we enter a big hall for buffet (lunch). Man the food was surplus but one silly funny thing happen o. I no know say oyibo Christianity dey different from our own o. I saw among the drinks, one innocent wine, which was placed on every table. The oyibos on my table dey eat and drink, but none of them touch am o. Na im me just take style cock the wine bottle open and start to drink the wine when I never even eat much. The two naija bobos with me also began to shack the wine... see mumus... the oyibos just dey smile happily with us. But one elderly naija man refused to drink am... I come ask am say "Daddy, this wine contain alcohol?" The man come say "yes o!" But the harm was already done.... me wey never drink for many years...see me trouble o!

Soon I left the buffet go enter the public toilet and hide there for several minutes to cool off the feeling of collapsing... many many things began to go wrong in my body. Number one, I stopped taking alcohol for over 20 years because of a heart (medical) condition that made me allergic alcohol. See me wahala o... nothing was written on the body of the bottle to indicate the contents, so we did not know what it was. When I came back, one oyibo woman come smile and ask me say (in Italiano) "Are you okay, are you having headache?" The other two naija bobos eat finish come tell us say dem they go... when I asked the elderly naija man wetin dem say, and why are they leaving so suddenly... he whispered to me that dem say the wine dey worry dem well well o!

Bros you see y I no too trust dis oyibo ppl? When I complained to the white bobo wey bring me there, im just say na there culture... or am I against wine? I said I am not against there culture or the drinking of wine, but why was nothing written on the bottle in church to indicate the content and the strength (since alcohol is a actually a drug). Thank God the white bobo na medical personnel, so im no go fit claim say he did not do Chemistry. I even call the alcohol also "ethanol" make im understand our frustration.

My naija brothers, if man wan drink wine, im go ready for am well well, this one wey we came Church come dose ourselves accidentally with this funny wine na wao... which can culture be that o? Osanobua... now I don learn a very big lessons with these oyibos. Proverb 23: 1 - 3 says "1 When you sit down to eat with someone... keep in mind who he is. 2 If you have a big appetite, restrain yourself. 3 Don't be greedy for the fine food he serves; he may be trying to trick you. "

I will never be in a hurry to eat with this people again... na so one bobo carry us foreign students go eat plenty "focaccia" for one pizza shop... see me trouble o... we come dey have food hangover for our residence like say we all dey pregnant... drinking water makes the food to swell in our belly and make us feel full like say we drink garri... na so all of us come sit for floor on the walking passage in our residence because we no fit stand up while talking!

Cheers... we go make am in this life in Jesus name.... devil is a liar o!

Hello guys, do you remember God's favorite pikin? That's me...

I am in Sicily now doing Master and living in a lodge meant for ERAMUS and visiting professors. I'm the only black African, apart from some north African Arabs, that could afford to stay in this lodge. The remaining few blacks are in the school hostel which costs 100euro per month. Even at that, it's not easy as things are expensive here.

My story will be brief...I am born again and have been through the worst life can offer, and was patient. One day I told God that i have had enough. I spent 2days to fathom out that financial wellbeing is important to achieve your dream and make life bearable. So from 2009 or 2010 till date I began to pay my tithe faithfully without defaulting, the rest is history.

At that point, I was a university dropout, been home for years, lost mum and dad, was poorer than a church rat, and was not getting along well with some of my siblings because of my faith which they didn't gbedu.

I made two observations...a dreamer should not expect help from others, let go of things that you cannot afford, be patient and work hard, and make plans based on things you earned. By 2010 I was back to school and slowed down to complete my degree. Mysteries after mysteries unfolded as I tithed...life became more bearable, God blessed everything I do physically, mentally and spiritually. The way of a tither is not clear...it seemed strange the way I was getting provided for, which can't be by chance or luck, but something more like miracle. I will not go into details, I feel humble, I cry a lot how God loves me...I watch my income grow from 8000 naira a month till it got to 40000 naira, then I got a job for 60,000 naira. When I was leaving the job at above 93000 naira, a dollar job came. Now I maybe earning over 200,000 naira monthly.

I became worried for many reasons...the core of the matter started around 2009. I had a troubling dream...Dunamis founder Pastor Paul Enenche rebuked me sternly, insisting I was not supposed to be in Nigeria but in a foreign land, questioning why I was still in Nigeria. So when I woke, I sorted for the interpretation but nobody could satisfy me. I then asked God for the place, and the answer was so strange..SICILY. Why not USA, Canada or Australiahuh! Well I checked an online map where Sicily was. Then I forgot about the issue for the next 8 years.

In February, 2017 I felt I was almost financially capable to sponsor myself abroad, but I could not forget my convenant. Instead of saving money, series of events happened in my life that made me give out all my salaries to God for charity in February and also March. I emptied my account. God has blessed me, I have a job, no shaking, but I needed heaven to open doors for me. Two week after I recovered from the month of fasting, God began to bless me... He told me to ask for salary increment from my employers. When I reluctantly did, I received the most encouraging words of my life. I was raised and not only that, I was promoted to a leader.

By May, I made feeble attempt to apply for Master but got admission offer to three different universities, Messina came last..and I did not even know that the town was in Sicily till I started the visa procedure!

My reasoning before I left Nigeria is that I will not beg, or feel inferior to the oyibos, or ask anyone to help me. It's not possible to understand how God blesses a tither, sometimes I do not understand what is happening around me, to the outsider it may seem either you are wealthy or have secret means. Some Arab guys from Iran, Tunisia, Morroco and so on, knocked on my door today! They really wanted to know my secret..how much money I was earning and spending as I seemed to be the most unusual black guy they have seen. Though they complain about money oft times, I seemed not to be bothered.

I am not trying to recommend my ways to you. I am not trying to convince you to be a tither in regards, as there are things I cannot explain here, but I only want to tell you facts about my life. Of truth...if you are a failure in Nigeria, do not expect something better abroad. You must convince yourself that you are able to succeed both in your country and outside your country.

It's not arrogance, it's not pride, it's not even because I have money, I make sure no Italian despise me. When on a few occassion an Italian stranger paid my bills, I was worried...why me of all people? is it because I am good looking? Or were they surprised to see a black were they least expected? But when I learnt of the Naija immigrants begging in the streets, I said to myself...maybe they were merely pitying me...look like the people that need help, so the idea of being helped by them now sulks! I rather prefer to help some of their own Italian beggers than to be helped. One Naija immigrant almost slapped me for that, making sure I did not help one of them. But I reminded him that we are all the same.. everybody needs help. The person rendering help also need help and have been helped!

We will all make it and we will make it well in Jesus name! No shaking... the people who think you will fail will one day celebrate you! CHEERS!!!

I cannot wish for anything better... but I know all along that God loves me and won't forsake me for all the many many years wey I don serve am till I can now call myself "God's favorite pikin"... devil fought me till the last moment, people abandoned me, some thought I won't make it... but WHO CAN BELIEVE THE REPORT OF THE LORD? TO WHOM HAS THE ARM OF THE ALMIGHTY BEEN REVEALED TO?... i am crying now... when God told me years back that I will go to Sicily, I never knew where it was on the map of the world... I had to google it then and do a thorough research about it... and when I got this pre-acceptance letter to UniMe (maybe like eight years later, now), I never knew Messina was in Sicily?!!! So I stop here....

Adieu!

It boils down to the departure date. It's logical to attend to application based on date of departure rather than in a FIFO order. Or else many ppl will miss their flight and schedule. So those attended to put earlier dates than us. I put September 24 so it logically becomes urgent only this week if the crowd is much.
