wip7: Thank you. I can always guide you towards research via an online platform as well. Here on this link, I have contributed well in guiding potential PhD students regarding research and publications. You can learn one or two stuffs:

wip7: Yeah research is the bedrock of any academics and i am an extra ordinary being. I love research, I have supervised and supervising 15 PhD students and good number of master students. WOW!
Recently, my research was funded to the worth of 45 million Naira equivalent and by March 2019 am applying for another 300,000USD Turkish Funding for my research. ............WOW!
I currently lecture at Cyprus and am Adjunct Professor with Canadian Universities....with strong and intimidating CV you can match and press any heads....WOW!
I will be uploading some of my undergraduate students research here soonest!
I will implore you to focus on research and do well.....
Best wishes! Prof Wip7, I'm really WOWed by your academic/research exploits. You're certainly on the crest of it. What an enviable achievement! And you're a NIGERIAN! I am very proud of you sir. Keep making us proud. Nigeria needs more people like you. I have come to realize that I LOVE research too. I often feel it within me. I just need proper guidance to help me develop and begin to manifest it practically.
Unfortunately, it's very hard to find such a guidance here in Nigeria. Alas, my dilemma! Prof, to be honest, if I could have one third of your academic/research ability, I would be the happiest man on earth because I will go places and "press heads" too. How I wish there's any way you can help me. All the same, keep blazing the trails and charting novel ones. You are the man! |

wip7: Other university like EMU offer master programs in computer engineering, information management systems and computer science etc. The entire master program at: EMU is approximate 6500$ provided no foundation course given. CIU is approximately 3900 euro provided no foundation given. Very helpful, thank you prof. Obviously CSU seems the most affordable, fee wise. I will explore the schools. Actually, I would like to develop a sound academic research skill and subsequently proceed to a PhD degree. I so much admire your research prowess and outputs. I think it is not out of place to desire to be like you in this regard. |

jidoex66: You can get Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering and Information Technologies @ CIU if you really want computing components programs. Thanks Thanks for the suggested options. What's the tuition fee at CIU for the above programmes like? |
Travel › Re: North Cyprus by deniiQ: 10:25pm On Jan 22, 2019 |
wip7: NO see the pages up you will see the current CSU programs.
Programs offer at CSU is listed in the image above. You either study computer related master on move to another field. Okay prof. I truly appreciate. Thank you. I really wouldn't want to deviate from computing, unless it is a course that has some form of computing component. How I wish I could get something in that direction. |

olawalepopoola: My PhD research focuses on the impact of Artisanal Mining on Geological Media, Ecology and Human Health in Selected Geological Settings of Nigeria. For this study with the approval of the PG Board, I collected: Groundwater, Surfacewater, Mine water, Soils, Rocks, Stream Sediments, Mine Tailings, Human hair and nails. In all I collected 550 samples. I got a research grant of 10,000 RMB from the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guiyang in 2017 for my research. I traveled there for three months for my analysis. Based on this research I was given a conference grant to Boston, USA this year. I will be presenting part of the work at the 1st Annual conference of the International Association of Medical Geologists, Nigerian chapter which holds in UI. This research is already bringing more collaborations for me. Nice one. Congrats scholar I'll like to be like you when I grow a little bit older. |

Happyangel89: Sorry am posting this here, don't know where else to.
Pls if you know of any socialization groups in Abuja that a graduate can join, pls tell me. My life has been so lonely since I came to this City, it seems making friends is so difficult here. Am so bored, most weekends am just at home watching movies. Don't tell me to go to the cinema or go to millennium park and sit down & be looking at people. I want to join groups, associations etc.
Thanks in advance for your response. @Happyangel89 LOL SUGGESTION: Have u tried the markets? I bet u if u dedicate each weekend to visiting each of the markets in the FCT, that will surely cure u of your loneliness malady. U know the marketplace is always teaming with people of all shades, sizes and characters, with enough din to soup up the scenario. And pls don't just go there as a member of the inspectorate dept. Rather endavour to interact with the ppl, esp the market women. U will easily spot the loquacious ones. Do it one weekend, one market. Don't fail to come back here & thank me later. If this fails, PM me. I shall consider putting in a word or two for admittance into our town's meeting. I am serious Shalom |
