Great space management.

I’ve only been able to tuck a 4 bed semi-detached duplex with an attached BQ and a courtyard into a 588sqm parcel of land. All statutory setback/limits met.

Site update on the fence...
It's a sloppy ground prone to surrounding erosion by the Nearby vegetation, quite long enough over 260fit stretch of Fence. We are chaining it all round on all sides...

Work update on the main building foundation.
The sun is terribly hot today. But we are doing as much as we can.

We have successfully completed the Blinding of the main building foundation...

Work updates in just 4 days...
Main Building Foundation Dug, Blinded and some pillars set already.

76meters (4.5plots) fence completely dug on all 4 sides, blinded with concrete base and block setting already going simultaneously.

We would be setting out the 2nd Structure which is a 3 Bedroom Bungalow in a matter of days... We are targeting to raise all these in one month with decking the main building inclusive, roofing the BQ and Completing the fence work.

Design vs Reality

The foundation digging with colum base is about #101,500. Done by our Hausa brothers. To 2.5 - 3.5fit respectively. Considering the slope and leveling...

Meanwhile, we have started setting blocks on the fence too. We are chaining the fence, completely 4.5 plots due to the topography and water run off beside the plot...

Based on physical examination of the surroundings as well.

We have equally commenced the main building setting out and foundation digging simultaneously

We were able to dig borehole and get water.
Predominantly, what people use here is well.

Because ware level here is very low ad extremely deep. On an average people dig 170 meters deep over 450 to 500 fit.

In the case of our own, geological information revealed and recommended 190meters. ± 10 meters.

We started our drilling, up to 190meters. We got water at exactly 200meters. We went further 5metere making it all 205meters.

It was really pleasing to get water. The drilling cost from the company is 12000 per meter. So we are spending #2.46m that Excludes pump of which we intend to use 2Hp for it. And it doesn't include installation of the pump.

Client is the one taking care of the drilling process with the company.

The 3D is the proposed model before we got to site. Though no survey was present but client was sure it was up to 4 plots, so we used imaginary plot to design.

Now on getting to site yesterday 21st April 2021. We found out that it's actually 4.5 plot but the orientation of the land is different. So we are now updating the site plan on ground here with client reviewing different options we are looking at.

New updated Site plan would be uploaded later when we are done.

Meanwhile the first task we have to do here is borehole. Client got a drilling company to do that..

Hello Great Nairaland members.

First of, we thank God for another new project.
A country home. 4 Bedroom Duplex with an open decking, 3 Bedroom BQ, security house, Gen house, bush bar, swimming pool.

This is the first of its kind in this part of Enugu as we proceed to bring to lame light these features in the land in question.

Size of land is 2050sqm, about 4.5 plots, eastern plot size of 450sqm per plot.

Dennis3D Designed this structure Architecturally alongside with the Design team who did the structural, Mechanical electrical and plumbing Designs.

Project is estimated to be built to Caracas in 4 Months max, wiry rainy reason in mind.

Kindly follow this thread for more updates from us... On this project. Client is on ground and have made some ground preparations before our arrival.
