And today, Decking works has began.
Carpentry works is gonna go on for about 3 - 5 Days of which the welders are on stand by to start up their own work with Decking beam reinforcements once the decking floor is prepared by the Carpenters.

We have procured planks and wood for the decking works as well.

Planks here are sold 2,300 and we got about 480 pcs of it in total including for staircase and beams as well as Decking floor.

We also bought 2x3x12 Woods for props preparation

See how far we have come on this project.
We are doing the compound flooring. Stamped concrete. Grey and Black color.

Arrival of bamboo for Decking purposes.
We are at Day 25 Now since we started works on this site.

Because of the height of the building. We have about 450 bamboo here. Long ones at that. One good thing I would say I got here better than Lagos.

Final blocks leveling before Decking.

We have a height of 3.15m before Decking beam.

We normally do concrete works on Colum a day ahead before we do Lintel. This is to ensure good workability of the concrete on the columns we are doing at a time.

We are done with Lintel works and now leveling the building on preparation for Decking works.

Trust you Dennis you never joke with quality of your project even with the speed that you deliver, you're bless to have a good crew that roll with your instructions. I remember my crazy ideas on my project, you stand firm to advise me professionally with your superior argument, another one I will never forget is when you told me to buy building before building. It helps a lot, meaning we bought 90% of every material needed before laying a single block.

From day one of this project. We bought reinforcement for the project from foundation to Decking.

We would have done same for cement if not for the estate rule that states that big trailer of 30 Tons and above can't come in to the estate.

Buying matetisis down helps wage against inflation and it's importance can't be overemphasized especially as Nigerian market is fluctuating up and up. Not even up and down.

With respect to quality. We don't joke with that. It's the bedrock to our project success while at the speed to which we carry out our task. We pay attention to the core areas of the projects which are the concrete works.

Also for projects such as this, we estimated blocks for 420 per one. Upon getting to the location we discovered that their normal blocks were sold for 450 naira per one. Which is even above our budget. But guess what, they had another blocks. Made of stone Dust, and it's sold for 500 naira per one. In a bit to ensure quality, that's what my team and I went for at no additional cost to the client because we want to achieve quality. However, we have contigency plan provided that we are working with in this regard.

Alot more I would be staring as the project proceeds.

Our routine is usually Colum first and that's what we are doing below... Good properly mixed concrete mixture of sand, granite, cement and Water

Plumbing materials arriving at site now... We and the installation ongoing simultaneously

Whenever prices increase, you can update to create awareness.

16mm it's selling between 8800 - 9,500 between local and TMT

12mm between - 4700 - 5100 in similar fashion

10mm between 3,500 - 3,900 respectively.

Bamboo is around 750 - 850 depending on the location and proximity to your site.

We are doing the volume form work simultaneously

The best in the area though more expensive than the regular blocks.

We have commenced block setting.
