under the downloads menu clik on option and then proxy to see if its well configured to watever proxy u r using. . . . if u r on direct connection e.g such as using mtn,glo etc den u dnt need to tweak anything; it shd work onced idm is installed n automatically configured to your browser

Guys, after seeing everybody here using IDM, I managed to download it yesterday but I can seem to get it to work. Is there any special tweaking I need to do to it? On the status, it's just showing connecting.
