I replied a similar question to this that my cousin in us is my sponsor ..I submitted her bank statement ,affidavit of sponsorship that she got stamped at the court or so ,pay stubs ,proof of relationship ,her passport ,birth certificate and I also wrote a letter stating how we are related and emphasising her surname alongside my grandmother's own then explained that we communicate regularly then I added pictures

Sure I'm not disagreeing with you I just meant so far the people I saw that got the medical after passport request were those that got NSE request .I did not see anyone that say they got medicals after ppr that didn't get the NSE request yet or maybe I skipped the post or they didn't come out to talk .Probably

Oh I see but getting NSE request doesn't guarantee approval anyways some people didn't get but we're approved while some even got but still refused so IRCC have their ways only them understand their matter they still check other things whether NSE request or not

What if it's a PPR there are people that got PPR before Medicals here and didn't even get the NSE request isn't there a possibility that it could be PPR??

Hi Deohlarh, the Canadian Visa on the passport is to give the person access into Canada just to buttress on @mcobex point.

You would still be examined by an officer of the Canada Border Services Agency at the point of entry (POE) who will issue a study permit authorizing your stay in Canada but the examination is not something serious based on the testimonies of those who has travelled. This fact on study permit is always stated on the letter of introduction that drops on the GC account of the applicant after the counterfoil drops ( or passport gets stamped at IRCC)

Study permit is actually given to everyone at the Port of entry. The stamp on your passport is the student visa(TRV... temporary resident visa). So you will go with your letter of introduction (LOI) and port of entry letter(if I'm not mistaken)

The TRV is just to gain you access to Canada, on arrival you will be given a study/work permit depending on the duration of your program (at least 1 year)

I think the passport get stamped in IRCC here in Nigeria. I dont think it gets to Canada.

Hiiii....please if someone does medical it takes three days for them to send it to IRCC right ...While for the passport ,if it's sent to Abuja vfs,people that sent theirs from Lagos to Abuja how many days did it take to get to Abuja then how many days did it take to get to Canada .Thanks

For NSE, is it possible to you a sponsor abroad? Has anyone tried this? Also i have an option of using a grand aunt as a sponsor. Would this surfice for nse?
