160485: Simply put, you get your medicals done before IRCc requests.
You either use IOM or IQ life, email your information sheet to iRcc and raise web form.
If you are doing upfront, ensure you send your result immediately. Don't wait till IRCc requests. God bless u |

ShowYoung: In this kind of situation, I will advise you seek for education loan. While NGN 1,500,000 (C$4,600) could pay for tuition deposit (C$500 - C$2,650) in some colleges and universities, you should ensure that you have the remaining fund readily available.
You are entitled to work 20 hours per week and full time during academic breaks and holidays as an international student while in Canada.
I think you should work on getting to Canada first. There are people who don't have the money just like you but found their ways through it either by finding a sponsor or education loan or combination. U are good boss, one who sees brightness in others , ur kind of explanation is able to raise dying hope; u are rare indeed" keep it up and God bless u richly. |

ShowYoung: There are options provided by Flywire, if you choose to pay by card or local bank account in Naira, the rate is around C$1/455 as at June 12: so, it is better to choose "International Payment in USD/CAD/EUR/GBP", this will enable you to use Form A and pay at the prevailing rate of the CBN—C$1/326 as at June 12. Tanks bro, this one done register .. |

I support this idea/advise; Just tink about it Toceen2022: Well, regardless of any advice given here, you're still the one to decide what and what worth it. Is it to abandon your study and be with your family, or to sacrifice few years to get what you want and unite with them.
Personally, if I were to be in your situation, I'll continue with my study. So far my kids are with their Dad in Nigeria, I'll be relieved to some extent. They are not with relatives or third parties, so I'm sure their Dad will take good care of them. The sacrifice I'm making is for the betterment of our future as a family, and after my studies they can join me anytime, if the goals have been achieved.
If I chose to abandon my studies, what could possibly happened? Applying after 2 years, IRCC already know I was given a study permit in the past and abandoned it. What could I possibly give as reasons to convince the VO the second time that I am now ready and a genuine student? What is the guarantee that the situation that made me abandon my study would have been better by then?
I believe any good thing comes with its own sacrifices. The 2 years I want to wait, I would have finished my studies and possibly get a PR or close to getting it. Then why should I keep delaying when no one knows what the future holds.
We have seen someone here that left Canada and wish to reapply with her husband of a marriage that is just 3 months or so. The person believes its her documents that will speak for her again. That was her choice. And that's why I said earlier that everything still depends on what you think is best for you.
Gracias |

Afolavid: Mad for what exactly.? It's being ungrateful and it's very bad. The least anyone who's using this platform to get info regarding their Canadian study journey could do, is to drop their timeline, in order to help others... You'd most likely do the same if/when you get your PPR. Hello Afolavid; pls don't get it wrong, I'm not saying that those that have gotten their ppr and didn't share it' did the write tink.... moreover, I have been encourage seeing testimony of ppl Who's Visa have been approved.... JustMellow: Hello Derekxxy,
Studying in a postsecondary institution and program makes an international graduate eligible for a PGWP and thereafter a PR if the scholarship is issued by an academic institution, notable individual, private or corporate, or multinational. In SOME cases, scholarships sponsored by a partner country or a Government of a country MAY not be eligible to apply for a residency. It depends if the scholarship has this type of clause. In this case, it is the international student's responsibility to enquire from the issuing body about the rules and regulations that guide the scholarship program.
How easy in securing a scholarship depends on the level of knowledge work invested in the process. I will say painstakingly. For study loans, MPower Finance amongst others has made study loans very flexible if you can secure an admission to one of its partnered and/or recognized Universities. You can also get it from family, friends, religious bodies, etc.
Best of Luck Tanks boss |

Osemigho: The bolded is not 100% correct. I thought that way before 2018 and missed Mastercard scholarship. I have a friend that applied anyways. Funny enough, it was Mastercard that organize PR and work permit session for them towards the end of their program. The guy is a PR now. My advise, except it is IRCC scholarship that says so or you have another scholarship without that requirement, apply and wait till the end. Wow... this is a relief, both the scholarships I have been seeing are not full funded and mostly,.... scholarship opportunity for international student offered by the school in quote . |

Toceen2022: Permanent residency is obtainable after a master's program even with scholarship. But be aware that some scholarships come with conditions that applicants must return to their country of origin after study. If that is the condition, PR and PGWP can't be given. Tank u bro, I have been tinking about the condition that will follow the scholarship |

CentennialGuy: Bro, read your second paragraph again and edit it correctly so they know what exactly you are really asking there.
Getting permanent residency is independent of whether you completed your studies via scholarship or you paid from your pocket. Tanks, I didn't see the error , and I have been reposting it |
