Jason! On nooooo. He didn't get to speak his own truth before he left |
A close friend shared something with me that’s been turning over in my head since I heard it. It’s not even about drama — it’s about life and how sometimes it loops you back into the very place you thought you left behind. She got married in 2021, shortly after the COVID phase. Before that, she had ended a serious relationship — no fights, no scandals, just life not aligning. The guy wasn’t ready at the time. She moved on. He even gave her his blessing to do so. Four years later, married with two kids, life has gotten a bit more... complicated. The family had to relocate from their more comfortable part of Abuja to a modest community setting — somewhere in Kuje — where her husband now works on a contract basis. Things aren’t what they used to be financially, but they’re managing. Then this Sunday morning, dressed and heading out with her husband and kids, she bumps into her ex. Same guy. Same face. Same community. Turns out, he is also in Abuja — and seemingly at the same financial level. And somehow, without realizing it, she’s now back in the same economic and social space she once tried to escape. Not only that — the ex now lives and breathes in the same streets. She says she hasn’t felt the same since morning. She’s angry — not even at the ex, but at herself. Angry that she “moved on” only to find herself standing next to a life she thought she closed the door on. Angry that her husband — once a ladder out of that level — has now landed them right back where she started. She doesn’t even pity the ex. He’s just... there. What gets to her is the realization of the distance between progress and starting over. Now she's afraid of going out. Doesn’t want to bump into him again. Not because of any feelings, but because she doesn’t know how to feel. It’s like her life pressed rewind on its own. And me? I just keep thinking… Maybe it’s not even the ex that hurts — it’s what he represents. A life you tried to outrun. A level you had left. It's the haunting feeling that life might be showing you a mirror — not of who you were, or who they are… but of how little control you ever had in the first place. What if you fall… and land exactly where you thought you left for good? Hmmmm. God help us! |
Hope there will be peace all through the day of this election |
Don't increase your appetite when you start making it....let the money grow and invest it. For example: Its the little things like... Don't start using Soya oil to cook...what happened to the vegetable oil you grew up with?! The weekly vodka....like do you need to be drinking weekly?! You dey sponsor table...dey declare for men. Nna eh! |
You see say these bots dey make conversation stressful. |
So who will return my 50k that was taxed from my 250 ![]() |
Redbull.... give you wings! This ad concept was used by redbull many years ago. Now Fearless has adopted it. He's not suicidal, he's a stunt man. |
funsho75:Nuke is not a shield. It doesn't have defence mechanism. It only has more attack potential. ...and that's an attack dog you don't want to unleash, except with the intent to kill. And we don't want more killings, we want world peace. |
TONYE001:That means the police are the ones that need the education. The medical association board should champion this cause. Fight for their people and shout it loud enough, that no police is permitted to harass them. There should be public enlightenment and orientation for the masses...and the police. Let it become public conventional knowledge. |
This has been in the news for ages...why debunking it now ![]() |
Chinny024:Why? Why give first aid and wait? The law requires the hospital to make the report. It is as simply as calling 911 to notify them. It is not the hospital's duty to go to police station to write report. Reporting to the police simply means calling to inform the police. It is the police that have the responsibility of coming to access the situation. |
They pretend they care...now there is a law to give you full support, yet they still claim they fear the interpretation of the law. If the police knows it is illegal, and they do not pressure any hospital otherwise, what now is stopping hospitals from doing the needful?! Patient loses his right to privacy, if he must get emergency priority care...and on credit. |
Juicy smolliie. See how one can standout despite their sexual orientation. Such a brilliant actor. So this is the reason he ate the gay role in Empire. Niqqa didn't have to frame his attack. Just killed his Hollywood career. |
RIP Fenty. |

COOL10:You get it. In love, we always seek for the good and betterment of our partner. In the head of some men-like me, when I see a woman, I see all the more that she can be, and I want to walk that journey with you. That's why men do those spendingz. We want you to be happy ALWAYS. Looking out for you- in the small ways we can. ...and it goes both ways... |
Oh Jamaica! What Jamaica did to the world through music

Eranetic:We were those early set going to cyber café. As at late 2000s Nairaland was just somehow...incomprehensive and all. ....and a thousand Mentions of Derico the anambra thief. I just got tired. |
airsaylongcome:You wrote this, using AI |
Brandiebird:In a shared space, you have no right to video anyone. Right to privacy exists in confined spaces. |
It has been confirmed, Osimhen is coming to Chelsea next season. The guy knows how to take in pressure, and still deliver. Mikel has been pressing this matter since yesteryears...now it's happening with plenty pressure and comparison. The pressure is much, but I trust Victor Osimhen to deliver as always! |
Another Record Again! |
Where's the old picture na.... |
Most men have a free mindset...they have had their life vision planned since teenage. No matter the love, they are not thinking of marriage till a certain age. They still feel so young and hippie. Other times, because of the drive for financial freedom, men do not think about marriage till they are nearing financial stability. It's usually around Age and Finance. However, I think while we are chasing the bag, once you're 30yrs as a man, and you have not attained the financial stability, you gotta cut off some distractions and indulgence, to give the hustle 100% of yourself. Especially when it comes to dating...coz we may not want to acknowledge it, but atleast, 20% of a man's little earning, goes into relationship spending. You don't have to cut if off, but this time, see it as an investment. Not investment for Joyride, (you must have had plenty of that by 30) but investment in your future. Anyone you're dating from age 30 should be your ideal wife material. Don't waste her time and your time. Matter of fact, stay single and grind. You can't afford to be broke and wasting your time and resources for knacks that you will still do till death do you path. I think for ladies, it is lower. But it applies too. At some point, you gotta realise that you don't want to play around anymore. Be intentional in your choices. Don't settle for an obvious red flag, and don't be the red flag in your rship. As a man comes to his senses and grinds purposefully, looking for well groomed lady to settle with, let him find you, as the available well groomed babe, who is not settling for red flags. Most of the time, the young good girls are all taken. The men know this...you see a good spec, when you go closer, you find out that she's already taken. Men don't dull...they wife good women sharparly...especially if they catch her young. .................. This is not the usual 30yrs old pressure o...I just think it makes some sense for men in their 30s. At what age did you start having sense and building relationship that leads to marriage? |
What Would Jesus Do? |
Rhozabeth:I support your stance...but me nd you know say you no go do anything. The governor of your state is also a thief...but me and you never fit do anything. Only the military can save this country. Either by being morally upright and do the right thing, or by standing aside without interference, when the youth come out to move for a change. Na them be our real problem. We really don't have to shoot the people. What does the say of our humanity? You can't control aggression without using a gun? What type of training is that?! A peaceful revolution would need the structure of the military in place...for peaceful transition |
Ar you also giving free accommodation? Transport alone from anywhere in Abuja, will finish the money. Just to leave the estate to and fro is 30k monthly. |
United fans no go gree say dem fall off. |
People that raided a whole Nigerian Defence Academy! ........ Failed National Security service Heads...you can't finish just one task since 2001. Well, the chicken has finally come home to roost. |
