Meanwhile Russia has been bombing Ukraine back to back for 4 years. Breaking bombing records with each strike daily.

Mikasaobi: Am surprised too, Iran won round 1 and they are currently winning the economic war. They will win round 2 if it comes to it but they don’t want to fight a war if they don’t have to.
They had thousands of civilians killed, all essential military assets are in underground bases, the USA and chosen ones are striking residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Iranians should be proud they have a government looking for a diplomatic solution even though they won’t lose if push comes to shove.
A lot of people believe nonsense from western media, if it’s not coming from an Iranian official then it’s most likely BS.
It doesn’t matter what has happened before, like the deaths of previous leaders and politicians, what matters now is saving lives if they can but keep their fingers on the trigger for immediate response.
They demonstrated this with their strikes in Kuwait, we all know when you hear minor injuries they are likely talking about a mass casualty event.
Iran will always win a conventional war, this is an absolute certainty. If you follow the timeline of events you would know that Trump is still using the diplomacy route to deceive the Iranians. Under diplomacy you blockaded their ports and started carrying out airstrikes calling it defensive actions. The Iranians should have understood Trump better now. |

Alamkiir: The problem with you people is that you are bored and want to see more wars. You don't really care about Iran. If you do you will care about the destruction and death it will get from the war.
Iranians are smart people and their leaders are smart, they are doing what's best for their people, allow them pls.
Do you guys actually think US is Qatar or UAE, this is the richest country in the world and as one of the poorest countries in the if Iran can avoid war through diplomatic means with USA it is more beneficial for them. But if the US chose war they have no choice but to fight You don't understand what is going on. America under Trump keeps playing the Iranians and they are falling for the deception. America has used negotiation to deceive Iran twice and it is still doing so. You proposed a ceasefire then went ahead to blockade their ports and lately they have been carrying out strikes on Iranian naval assets in Hormuz that's another foul play and deception and all Iran could do is continue negotiating hoping US would relax sanctions SMH. It will be foolish for the Iranians to think Trump is ready to offer them concessions by relaxing sanctions and unfreezing their seized assests. Trump is an egomaniac who wants to emerge as the sole winner of this war. He wants a total humiliating surrender from Iran. Days ago he said he won't agree to any deal that does not favour Israel and you and I know Netanyahu wants an end to Iran's ballistic missile program and and removal of the HEU and I think Iranians are ready to give them that with their nauseating actions. The Iranians are not smart here it is Trump that keeps outsmarting them. |

Namaster: Iran NEEDS to understand that the Strait of Hormuz is NOT a substitute for Nuclear Weapons.
The Strait is just a DEFENSIVE mechanism. It does NOT prevent you from being ATTACKED.
It's NOT a viable deterrent.
UNTIL the Iranians realise this, US and the GENOCIDAL state of ILLsrael will CONTINUE to attack them WHENEVER they want.
They can cook up a FLIMSY reason to attack Iran and get away with it.
North Korea is SMALLER than Iran. They have a SMALLER population. They are POORER than Iran.
Yet NOBODY born of a woman DARES to attack them anyhow or ASSASSINATE their Leaders and expect them to negotiate.
Meanwhile, their government is even more DRACONIAN than the one in Iran.
Iran NEEDS sense! You nailed it. Iranian leaders for their mind still think the strait is a nuclear option for them. I dey SMH for them. America is using this tit for tat attack to continue its strike and military objectives stylishly. |

Trump reportedly caught Iran off guard last year by launching attacks during ongoing negotiations, he repeated a similar approach in late February this year. He appeared to do so again by proposing a ceasefire, which was later used as leverage to blockade an Iranian port.
One thing I have come to understand is that Trump is driven strongly by ego and wants to emerge from this conflict as the sole winner. In my view, he is still in the process of deceiving Iran. Sanctions can be imposed rapidly, but if Iran agrees to dilute its highly enriched uranium (HEU) or transfer it to the United States, it could take years for the country to restore its enrichment capacity.
Make Iran dey mumu there. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by dermmy(m): 9:33am On May 24 |
LordAdam16: both reports have an element of truth to it
the nyt report clearly said iran made a commitment to give up its enriched uranium but that the details are unclear
prior to the war, the understanding has been that iran would down blend the highly enriched uranium (heu) on the eve of the war, iran even offered to treat the downblended uranium so the down blending is irreversible (that is, the downblended low enriched uranium can not be enriched to heu again if iran changes its mind, say after the deal is broken)
when you down blend the heu you do not have a stock of heu that is practically giving it up
what the epstein 🤡🤡 have been asking for is that the downblending and further treatment is not good enough that iran has to transfer, hand over all the heu directly to the us
iran retorted that their red line is that the heu will remain in iran they've not really said anything about downblending since the war started larijani briefly floated/accepted putin's offer for the transfer of some (or all?) of the heu to russia but it is unclear if that was exclusively made prior to the war or made again during the war before he was assassinated either way, khamenei ii shut it down
the tasnim report is also true because the persians have not made any formal commitments on the nuclear issue
this is semantic
like when they exchange messages and claim it is not negotiations
in conversations with persian officials, the pakistanis and qataris do fish around for signals of what their hard red lines are and where they may be willing to compromise on the nuclear issue
it is these signals that are reported as iran agreed or made a commitment to "x"
but it really doesn't mean much ghalibaf or pezeshkian or araghchi might say in confidence that they could see iran accepting x, y, z but when such proposal is put in front of all the power brokers, there is no consensus for it
also formally, the nuclear file will be negotiated in the second stage so there can be no formal commitments beforehand informally, the mediators are trying to establish oral/verbal commitments on what the markers/guardrails of the nuclear negotiations will be
the more important factoid though
is that the us does not have any credibility in tehran
persia only takes these exchanges serious because the heavyweights in the region are heavily invested in preventing further destruction to oil/gas, desalination facilities and an economic downturn
persia also is uninterested in feeding concessions while the americans barely budge on the issues that matter compensation, toll, sanctions, frozen funds, departure from the region
and this is ultimately why i believe an mou now is premature you cannot offer them a pressure-release valve the first time the sh*t starts to really bite them when they thought they had time they imposed a blockade and launched project freedom
you have to make them sweat more
what if they use the next 60 days to get more oil flowing and halt the collapse of inventories then in august they launch a severe attack at that point the clock will restart and iran will have lost cumulative pressure of the last 70 days
also, persia has to insist on them removing more sanctions and unfreezing a lot of their funds before the mou is signed that is the only thing they can hold in hand the evil 🤡🤡 will walk back any promise and commitment once the oil start flowing
-Lord Trump will fool this people again their eyes go clear this time. Iran na mumu. |

The proposal reportedly has backing from several NATO members but not yet unanimous support. Iran should continue mining the Strait to make any demining effort extremely difficult and costly.
