Mcy56: I'm a short termer, planning to go on medium term soon. As for me, I don't have any strategy, than to keep looking for opportunities for 10-20% as short termer. Or trying to key in to a stock that I perceived its low with the hope to see it go up a little and sell; this however has its disadvantages cos my low could not be the actual low sometimes, thus getting trapped in such stock and, will then have no choice than to wait it out or move out at minimal loss to enter another one. Lol. |

Paulfroshman: Hello, I like to know if GTB is still paying dividend as I haven't gotten mine since yesterday If your e-mandate is in place, don't worry, just patiently wait. Once flight restriction is over, you will get yours..... For now, they are paying those of us who a vulnerable first, later the BILLION GANG who are donating for COVID-19 will have their turn.. |

Mcy56: Prof, in my layman's understanding, Nestle is a defensive stock........... That's my opinion. I understand what you are saying. I only wish no defender will defend into the net, across the goal line as Nestle has done and seems not yet done.... |

Coolcash1: Nestle is not only liquid but also defensive.
If you can afford it buy it. Defensive from N1,400 to wherever it is now? |

WAPCO is holding BOARD MEETING on Monday, the way the stock has traded since morning is most suspicious. Who knows if these guys may want to handsomely share the little they have MADE SO FAR, then let the stock price do a real slide when the mess start coming up later towards year end, then use the same money they have ARRANGED AS DIVIDENDS to mop up, then later ESCAPE totally, wiping the DIVIDEND HUNTERS and OLD SQUAD? NB: just thinking out aloud, don't take me serious.... |

RabbiDoracle: There must be a huge bill the Chinese will pay for this.
The question I am asking is : when it was discovered that many people left Wuhan before the lockdown started, why were there no increasing cases in Beijing? Instead most cases were limited to just Hubei Province.
After US emerges from this crisis, it may not be easy for China. This has always been my line of thoughts. Considering the population of China and how they live and work, I was so Amazed that this Virus operated in China as if it had a terms of reference.... |

stcool: It is still cheap...the closing period prohibits the directors from trading in the shares of the company.
I am less concerned about dividend. My interest is a buyout, Merger with Dangote or anything similar Do you think Dangote is afraid of Bua? Deep inside me, I do feel one day something will suddenly happen in WAPCO, but I don't know what. But it will be very positive. |

robobo: My fear also. Plus i dont see any value add in Zenith getting bigger within the country. Strategically it wld make more value for zenith to expand into other African market both for diversification of its revenue base and also hedge on stiffer regulatory environment that Nigeria had became This is worse than the rumor of FBNH venturing into the brothel of Polaris and Heritage. Forget all the fanciful terms you will be hearing from our in-house Patrick Obahiagbon sounding analysts. FBNH will be getting Polaris + Heritage almost for free. Zenith will be dealing with smart guys who have grounds to negotiate. Happy weekend. |

rebekah2011: Ovia started out as a clerk at Union Bank, formerly Barclays Bank in 1973. This was shortly after he finished his secondary school. He worked for 3 years as a bank clerk before moving to USA where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. Maybe it has been a lifelong ambition for Jim to one day takeover Union Bank. Gateman don turn to landlord. |
