vicadex07: Eye don clear now. Many people that voted for the clueless one back then because "he had no shoes" are now regretting it. Besides tribalism wasn't much of an issue like it is now back then.

But GEJ has been able to single handedly divide the country along political, religious and ethnic lines. Now its every man for him self.
Who introduced TRIBALISM in our political space huh
HealthGov. Obiano To Employ Doctors, Increase Nurses’ Salaries by Descartes(op): 1:44am On Jul 31, 2014
In line with his commitment and avowed bid to revolutionise healthcare delivery system in the state and sustain the provision of free maternal and child healthcare delivery, Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has given an assurance that he would employ more doctors to double their number in public hospitals and increase the salaries of nurses working in rural areas as incentives to motivate them for increased productivity.

Governor Obiano gave these assurances at the official handover of the Ofu Obi Comprehensive Health Centre, Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area to the state. He pointed out that the name of the centre would be retained and announced a donation of an ambulance, ultra sound and x-ray machine to the health centre to enhance its service delivery to the people.

On the other hand, Governor Obiano demonstrated his administration’s determination to create access road to agricultural communities and government facilities, as he approved the reconstruction of Nibo-Umubele-Umuelechi-Zik’s Road to open up access to sites including the 1,000 housing units for the state civil servants and police housing Estates.

Obiano explained that the state had commenced the rehabilitation of 37 general hospitals and 233 primary health centres to reposition them to meet the health needs of the people.

Obiano said: “It is important to build a healthy citizenry to ensure all-round development of the state.”

He urged multi-national companies and other investors to contribute in support of hospitals and school projects as part of their social responsibility.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joe Akabuike, said the take-over would ensure that the centre was put to effective and optimal use.  Akabuike explained that the state government would also build mega hospitals, state-of-the-art diagnostic centres, mobile clinics and mobile ambulance.

A community leader, Chief Damian Okeke, while thanking the governor for the intervention, called his attention to the challenges of gully erosion ravaging the community and requested for government presence in the area.

Speaking while inspecting the Obizi Bridge along Ugwuajilija Isiagu in Umuawulu Road, Obiano said the road would be designed while work would commence in earnest after the rainy season. He expressed satisfaction with the work done so far on the bridge, and disclosed that the contractor had been paid fully to deliver the road project within two weeks, adding that the road would have all components of a standard road and other necessary road fixtures. He said when completed, the road would alleviate the challenges faced by the people and boost socio-economic activities.

The Majority Leader, Anambra State House of Assembly, Harford Oseke, thanked the governor for fulfilling his campaign promises to the people and requested the governor to also include the Isiagu-Ndikpa-Ndiukwuenu Road in the state road reconstruction programme.

Earlier, Commissioner for Works, Sir Callistus Ilozumba, recalled the deplorable condition of the road before the state government embarked on the reconstruction project and highlighted the strategic importance of the road as major access road to various farming communities and government facilities to be sited in the area.

Chairman, Awka South Local Government Area, Mr. Romanus Iloh, noted that Governor Obiano had raised the bar of governance and provided condusive environment for socio-economic activities to thrive in the state.

thegreatman4ww: That is on sure evidence that GEJ is not sincere to save Nigeria. Jonathan setting up committed whose recommendations he will never implement, even the Chibok committee recommendations are still in the paper, even the National Conference is a waste of time and occupier of time, their recommendations will still go the ways of their fore Fathers except not under Jonathan.
Meanwhile, he digging his political grace, as I am suspecting some personal disagreements between him and Mama Peace as evidence in the last First Family picture he releases to commensurate Fathers' Day.

Any competent individual can be filed for presidency next year under any political Party but not this selfish and corrupt Jonathan.

Those with mentality of Jonathan bid for second term should have a rethink. Because Nigeria problems is not beyond the power of FG if there is political will to do so. Another things this set of people shld know are:
1. Azazi public pronouncement of BHs are in PDP. That was his first public strong pronouncement as a National Security Advice, which lead to his dismissal and death by airplane crash whose black box is yet to be located and causes of the crash yet to be ascertained.
2. OBJ letter most especially the Snipers aspect. Though OBJ may not be saint but he is a careful talker and action taker, and for him to take his pen and write about a particular thing, know it for sure he is over 100% sure of what he wrote and say.

3. Last person, though may not be taken seriously, but standing on a letter that destroy his political career and make him go to exile voluntarily (even though he denied it through his spoke man) because of fear of his life no matter his political affiliation should not also be forgotten. I mean Nyako letter.
4. Rate of corruption and associating/pardoning criminals, digging forgotten (or I should say overlooked) cases to haunt down perceived enemies, etc needs to be consider before clamouring supports for reelection of this current administration.

Stopping here, but more to discern.

Frankenstein: I'm from Anambra but I kinda find it awkward when people from Anambra give praise to the state and Igbo tribe alone for this man's great innovation.

And the strong hate and mockery of innoson that come from the other tribes is really appalling. It's also common among Yoruba, Hausa and other tribes to brag about developments in their region to others.

This is a huge barrier to the One Nigeria project!

Had GEJ been anywhere near to being proactive and decisive as Paul biya, Boko haram would have been a thing of the past.

But he insists on pinning all suspisions on the opposition without doing anything about it while the real culprits are all littered about in his government...with his support anyway

vicadex07: Ifthe nothern people really wanted to make the nation ungovernable, why bomb their own people and destroy their economy. Is there any sense in that. Why not the south? Or do you think the South is so secure and immune to terrorist attack?

The said suspects being incarcerated and interrogated, are they not in the custody of the federal goverment and its security agencies? Is GEJ/PDP not FG?

Thank god you corroborated my story with what you dads experience. It just goes to show that those striving to destabilize the north are not nothern/hausa muslims. It just doesn't make any sense
It seems you have not been to the North huh

vicadex07: In your a quite sinister manner, you said salam aleikum to me...implying am a muslim aboki. A word is enough for the wise you see and I can read in between the lines which obviously you can't.

P.S.
Why does the FG and military always publicise their military strategies and positions when going after boko haram. Is it a deliberate action to warn Boko haram about their presence so that they can flee and avoid capture because obviously they are one and the same.

Quite stupid if you really settle down to think about it.
