We’ve already tried separation. . Twice actually! The first time, he begged, made amends and I saw efforts to change, but when we got back together, he just went back to the same behavior, but this time, blamed it on me for leaving him. So I left again. . .

But then we eventually decided to come back to live together, but not be together, mainly because my oldest developed anxiety and ended up in the hospital. So now we live in different wings in the house and almost never cross paths. We have a beautiful family portrait in our living room, but have not had any family outings or even meals in years. We don’t quarell or fight, we just don’t relate with each other the way a married couple should. We only talk about the kids and shared responsibilities.

It wasn’t until I turned 40 recently that I realized that I don’t really want to live the rest of my life like this!

Having lived all my young to mid adult life in Lagos and then being transferred by my firm to it's Anambra branch , I have now lived here for over two years... These are the differences in life style I noticed

1. Business are late to open in the morning in Anambra compared to Lagos

2. There very few or non existent road side mechanics, most mechanics are in a street inside a compound and fenced unlike Lagos

3. There is still high sense of morality and believe in God in this part of Nigeria by majority of of the people bar the student areas where culturi and believes are imported from various part of Nigeria unlike Lagos

4. There is low level of northern population throughout the state unlike Lagos

5. Most nysc corpers are southwestern and igbos

6. Inside the public transport a new entrant greets the old sittight ones... Unlike Lagos

7. In Anambra, keke driver or bike rider would give u the money to go look for change in cases of no change btw him and customer while he waits for ur return , reverse is the case in Lagos

8. In Anambra , both driver and persongers will reject money to the floor in cases of incorrect disputed price of fare... All allowing ur conscience judge u... In Lagos it results to fight...

9. In Anambra, house rents are very high just like Lagos.. but transport is cheap

10. In Anambra there is a few major fuel marketers mostly filled with unknown names

11. U hardly see anyone criticize a preist of a catholic or Anglican church...

12. In Anambra, student decision of department to follow in senior secondary Begins from SS2 rather than in SS1 in Lagos

13. The senior secondary skls in Anambra are divided to just science or art, while in Lagos it is science, commercial and art.

14. Girls in Anambra are strongly money incited...they judge u by how much u show off..maybe same with Lagos sha

15. Banks are the highest paying private jobs in Anambra unlike Lagos where unknown companies pay huge surprise wages.

Please I need some advice.
We live in PH, and have 4 kids. The oldest is 10 while the youngest is 6. I give my wife 700k every month, and this includes general upkeep and maintenace and fuelling of our car (Lexus 330). I don't drive the car (I dey leg, while she uses it to run around, which includes school runs and her business).

I no dey chuk eye for her business. Bu I am getting frustrated as she still makes me believe that the money is not enough. I pay electricity bill (band A) and house rent (3m pa) yet every now and then she puts bills on my head. It is driving me crazy.

When I tell her to list out her expenses so I plan with her, she picks offence. I am really tired of the whole thing and don't know how else to approach the issue without causing too much problem. I know some men whose salaries are 250k-300k in PH, yet they are surviving.

I married very early, that Is five years ago, immediately i started working. Immediately we gave Birth to our first child, I was sacked from my place of work in a mysterious way. All our house equipment was sold, we left a comfortable apartment to a single room.

At a time, I was doing menial jobs just for us to feed. One day, in the process of seeking for solution to get my job back, I got to a church, and the pastor asked me to come with my wife, which I did, to my surprise, the pastor asked my wife, why are you afraid for your husband to have money? You are thinking if he makes money he will marry other women, he said pls pray for your husband to succeed, he is bigger than this.

And he asked my wife to come back for deliverance, but she refused.

Secondily, I went to another place, a spirituallist, and a female, she said I married wrongly, that the girl I was supposed to marry I missed it. She said I should come with my wife, and I did, she said my wife has another spirit, that she feels the marriage will not last...but till today, nothing I put hand dey work, most times we live together but never discuss together, we just live like strangers at home, and most time I regret getting married. I don't really know what to do now, I can't support my parents like before, they are not happy with me...

pls I need advice, prayers and support.

It's a long story but I will try to abridge it.

My mom raised I and my brother of 5yrs old single-handedly. There's a separation in the family so we're shuffling the deck. She's an hairstylist with meagre wages.

My dad was never part of the family. They both separated because of infidelity and harsh treatment. Since then, my dad, I guess erased our memories from his life.

I must confess, she's trying but the bills is weighing her down. My little brother was to start school last year but we couldn't pay for fees but after saving, we decided to put him in a cheap school close to the house.

Now, my mom want to stop us from bearing my father's name. She mandated me to change mine as well to her own dad's name.

Yesterday when I returned from the Pos attendant job I do, she brought the topic again and she said, nothing is holding her back on her decision.

Though it is tempting, try to not let this "vocal minority" - that being female supremacists - define the label of feminist. Technically speaking, feminism just means equality of the sexes and no supremacy can exist with this definition.

Feminist women make good partners and are typically more intelligent. There is nothing like a woman with a body AND mind that excites you. Intelligence and humor are so strongly related and I thank God my wife makes me cry with laughter from her wit!

As a country we are very far behind rich and powerful nations when it comes to gender. Feminism has made the western countries rich and hold back so many ones like nigeria. If more women were career oriented here instead of just baby-machines, maybe we would not have a terrible population boom that will cause so much tension and instability in the coming years.
