pendy79: Deso, guess her larger than life activities in the diaspora community makes her more prominent and popular with me than those at home but really I hear good reports about her. She's only a rep. not a budget wielding executive, expectations should be lower with her .
Your islander lo ni eko no work o. Baba kekere from badagry was there, baba go slow from epe too so your analogy no work o. Lagos na IBILE.
Cosmopolitan nature of lagos not helping we natives at all and our overting accommodating nature isn't a good political tool also. That's why you can hear all these aje okuta ma mu omi dey claim numbers and population with us. But a good lagos for me is all that matters
Ambo I hear is from somewhere in Ondo state but then how many indigenous governors has lagos produced since independence? Even ojuyobo is from osun so like I said ......
Performance over sentiments anyday....... Yeeparipa mo gbe! mo ku! mo daran!!!! Ondo abi ki lo ti wi? When a bonafide Isale Eko chic like me dey hia? Temi ba mi! Tinubu ti ta wa lopo!!! I love my Yoruba people but abeg, there are so many over qualified Eko natives that can take that position ojare! You see why I don't like this Tinubu now? I cannot stomach this imposition o, it is becoming ridiculous ke! Iru gbogbo jangbon jangbon wo niyen ke? Anyway, Abike no get liver for the mata abeg and the last time I was in Ikorodu, things didn't seem so great ojare. That garage was an eyesore! Omo ibo ti gba garagi tan mo yin lowo. |

pendy79: In as much as I feel disturbed that the rotational agreement between the 5divisions that constitutes Lagos State is being jettisoned by the emergence of Ambode, one cannot but get wowed by his performance in the turning around of the IGR of lagos. Lagos can surely bullshit the FG and its piecemeal monthly allocation.
If it is Ambode and if fashola is strongly behind this ticket cos likes poles attracts then I'm all in make them just use my sister Abike Dabiri as deputy to pacify my division.
Performance over sentiments any day...... You are the only Oga offspring i've heard say kind things about Anti mi Abike o. Anyway sha, as per awa prefious dizkoshon, na Islanders ancestral seat the governorship be. E ba wa gbaa be. where is Ambode from sef? |
Politics › Re: LAGOS 2015: In Search Of Another Fashola by Desola(f): 2:05pm On Oct 21, 2014 |
Abeg wey broom make I remove this cobweb! ratiken: FASHOLA IS BAD NEWS DISGUISED IN INTENSE PROPAGANDA
With the recent holier than thou attitude being put forward by Gov Fashola, It has become pertinent that we remind ourselves what manner of man he has been in the past 7.5 years.
1. It is on record that Tinubu is one of the most corrupt individual this country ever produced who went on an accumulation spree of every viable state asset. However, I wonder how a 'non corrupt' Fashola can seamlessly work with an extremely corrupt Tinubu for 8yrs without friction while they both accumulate all state assets to their personal names. Two cannot work together except they agree. It seems Tinubu accumulated more state resources under Fashola's tenure than his own tenure. One can categorically conclude that Fashola is either more corrupt than Tinubu or just a plain dummy/ foot soilder
2. There is still no justification to installing toll plazas on existing roads. The Lekki- Epe expressway that serves the fastest developing area of lagos state should have received fair and untolled attention but out of the dirtiness of heart of the corrupt duo of Fashola/ Tinubu.... it was tolled to their own company. When the masses trooped out to protest against it, Fashola's touts were unleashed on them even to the extent of death of a protester. If every state governor tolls roads which is a basic necessity like Fashola did..... ours would have been a mortgaged country
3. Till date, Fashola have refused to open up the state books to the public consistent with the Freedom of information bill adopted at the federal level. He has consistently and categorically refused to be accountable. For the records, LASG with monthly IGR and allocation of 29B and 19B respectively have managed approximately 4.5trillion in 7.5yrs. Unaccountability is the hallmark of irresponsible leadership.
4. How on earth can a sane governor deport non-indigenes within same country at the wee hours of the morning and dump them under a bridge. Every Nigerian indigene has the right to live in an part of the geographical location called Nigeria without a visa. It is also on record that this inhumane act have been carried out by just on governor in our history. .. which is Fashola. This act currently ranks as the highest breach of human rights in Nigeria.
5. Fashola adamantly approved a 1000% increase in the school fees rates for LASU students without any corresponding increase in wage rates. It took wide spread protest and unending strikes that forced the govt to its knee. This is the record increase of school fees in Nigeria and ranks the height of insensitivity
6. Lagos roads are repaired at 2billion/ km by the crony companies of Fashola/ Tinubu. Better roads are built allover the country at lesser rates. Height of lootocracy
The ease at which he criticizes the central govt without acknowledging any single achievement by same govt makes him a mere opposition figure who stands for nothing but mere propaganda.
Now I ask..... What are the highlights of Fashola's govt?Lagos was a federal capital and Tinubu's govt was the height of hopelessness and such any any road repaired receives lots of hype. What key achievement would Fashola be remembered for? |

pendy79: I'm sure there are more than enough capable hands within the APC with the likes of Ganiyu Solomon, femi hamzat, abike dabiri, yemi ikuforiji but then by rotation it should be turn of my Ikorodu division to produce the next governor of lagos state based on the IBILE(ikeja, badagry, ikorodu, lagos island and epe) strata that makes up lagos with all other divisions already taking their turn in Alausa. This put Ganiyu Solomon in good stead and also Abike Dabiri those two are our biggest gladiator in Ikorodu.
Would have loved a Jimi Agbaje ticket too but his decamping to PDP is a political miscalculation cos I'm not even sure he will get the PDP ticket with Koro on the loose ready to kill and clear any obstacle in his path to getting same ticket.
In all Lagos is in safe hands but PDP shouldnot bother about campaigning in Lagos cos we are strictly progressives. omo Eluku, Ikorodu Oga funra e! My guy, Lagos belongs to the Islanders o. Awa la leko o so abeg manage deputy. Na isale eko people dey get governorship and you know that Abike hasn't done anything for Ikorodu. |

egift: Those who are against Buhari are just afraid of becoming accountable for the looting and evil they have perpetrated.
Every Nigerian should help elect Buhari and put to halt the massive corrupt system that is only benefiting a few. Jonathan may have good intentions, but he grossly lack the will and courage to say NO to Corruption. |

Gbawe: Indeed. It is only those who do not truly love Nigeria and are driven by malevolent hearts and prejudiced agenda who will refuse to admit that we urgently need drastic change to move us away from today's status quo immediately. Nigeria is being plundered alarming in a free-for-all feast open to every corrupt and criminal-minded miscreant our nation is unfortunate enough to produce. Nigeria need change and will have it next year. |

Yoo daa re, olukumi. Please put that mofo in his place. pendy79: Bia nwoke! I posted about buhari inviting people for his declaration! You're talking about saraki holding Kwara people to ramson. If Kwarans deem it fit to perpetually honour worship the sarakis how does it affect you as an individual? Peter obi singlehandedly installed obiano, ibori installed his cousin but in your bias and jaundiced mind it is that of the sarakis you saw and worried about. I'm sure he's not holding the populace by putting a gun to their heads.
Tinubu met Lagos with an IGR of about 6billion Naira and left it hitting 20billion Naira monthly. I'm from itunpate in Ikorodu Local government Area of lagos state and I've seen the various impact of fashola from roads to schools to courthouses to free medical care to water to brt and if tinubu being the architect of the big IGR is paid for the consultancy he is doing then I have no problem since I know how my state was and how it is now. I love the APC and the change it symbolizes. "Where man dey work na there him dey chop"
Is Obj now in APC? the onus and power to probe all the people you listed is vested in Jonathan and the PDP. The EFCC and ICPC are Agencies of the Federal Government, Don't you think it is a classic example of a dunce and da.ft government if these people you listed above as corrupt can't be made scapegoat by the Jonathan Adminstration? they are opposition elements! He can arrange for their investigation! But alas ! your commander in thief just arranged for Mohammed Abacha's freedom from corruption and money laundering investigation and court case, FFK case is dropped, Stella Oduah no case submission, Malabu Oil Scandal no case submission, Pension fund nothing yet, Ndudi elumelu case no mention again, faruk lawan did you hear anything, Patricia Etteh how far, Peter Odili (he has a PERPETUAL RESTRAINING ORDER) from being probed for corrupt acts and instead of your President and EFCC to challenge such, His wife was made a SUPREME COURT JUSTICE and HE HIMSELF just received a NATIONAL MERIT AWARD for being a very good and special NIGERIAN, want me to go on?. Bros corruption wear coat for your PDP but you people will close eye to the log in your eye yet be looking at the speck in others.
You're asking the qualification of the SPEAKER of the House of Representatives to be a Governor? Are you for real?
Compare the performance of your best performing governor in the PDP with that of the least performing governor in the APC bearing in mind the resources and allocation available to those states.
No sane Nigerian will hope to have the PDP in Aso Rock after the 16years of wanton and daylight robbery of our commonwealth. |
