Yelx, ayam hia. Tainks for the kind big ups. interloper: if i may ask . . .whatever became of desola? years back she was a real enigma on nairaland and despite my many years of being on ghost mode, i found her to be a real class act anytime.
just to let the guys that gave birth to this thread celebrating all things yoruba know . . . . as events unfolds positvely out here, more and more yoruba folks will be incline to log off their ghost mode and contribute meaningfully to discussion in here, some threads back then was a tard too dirty to even come on board and every one and everything had something so bad to say to one another, but safe zone to be here for me and hopefully i speak on behalf of many ghost members too.
again i commend the progenitors of this thread to continue to keep it clean/tidy and we all be good, am sure we will get the occasional wolves wanting to create drama on some fast moving threads, best we continue to isolate em and continue to enjoy the well thought of opinions and ideas the yoruba are notoriously famous for in a good way . . . . . thoughts |

ProfCorruption: I deactivated this handle once, sometimes last year or so after my laptop was taken from me at gun point in downtown Miami and there was evidence those miscreants were tampering with my info. I adopted another handle, sturborness, which is now rested because I lost it to the great data loss. That data loss, miraculously, brought back my Profcorruption handle. Fortunately, I had recovered my laptop before the resurrection of Prof Corruption, so I decided to live with its exhumation.
Also, I deliberately left Nairaland a few weeks to the general election because I just couldn't stomach the glaring bias of the moderators, including the owner. I had hoped that with the elections over, there would be a semblance of normality and perhaps intelligent contributions would return. Well, that's not the case. I think Nairaland has so much changed that the difference wouldn't be lost on those who experienced or perhaps themselves made intelligent contributions some years back. What we have now is not the real thing as it used to be; it's now more of a shadow, an ugly one at that.
I am not a big fan of philistinism, petty or idle talks, someone with large eyeball, 50 thousand pounds wrist watch etc., husband snatching fooleries. I am a political junkie who likes debating policy issues, exploring implications of political moves, locally or internationally. Unfortunately, philistinism is on the rise and continue to dominate not just the home page but also every sections of Nairaland. It is very tough these days to see just ONE good thread to make contributions. So, it doesn't worth staying any longer.
Bottom line, Profcorruption is gone for good. I would adopt another method to air my views. Any issue I feel strongly about, I would write a piece and get it published or I might set up a blog where my thoughts could be shared. Be sure to leave a link to your blog if you so do. I would be glad to visit and contribute. |

Didn't think Palm oil was that valuable o. Bifwoli: FYI ,I'm neither an Igbo nor a dog but I call it as the truth is set.The truth is Igbos are very enterprising, hardworking and tolerant people that's why they can migrate everywhere, succeed and be accepted members of society.
Furthermore, its the oil of Igbolands that has made Nigeria what it is today so without them y'all would be seating much more miserably.Accept the cold ,hard truth that Igbos literally own Nigeria. |

She did a fab job with Doyin Okupe but with Mugabe, she was SHIT!!! She more or less harassed the man. Much more training needed.
