Health / I Need A Serious Help……i Produce Too Much Saliva!!! by desperatem(m): 2:24am On May 28, 2022 |
Hi Nairalanders, please I need help. This started sometimes in 2005 or thereabout. At first I thought it’s normal because then, any little thing irritates me and I had to spit. I was in senior secondary school then. If someone farted in class or I saw something irritating, I won’t be able to swallow my saliva, I would have to spit. Now I’m 35 and this has gotten worse. Now I spit often without seeing anything irritating. At first, I thought I’m the only one with this ‘disease’ until I met someone in 2013 who spits often too. I later met 2 other guys who spits at least 5 times in 10 mins. This is becoming embarrassing to me and it has made me to always stay indoors. I have tried a couple of things, I dewormed every week in 2018. Nothing change. I did it again in 2021 I even took overdose of worm medicines. I went to the private hospital I use and the doctor had no idea of what might be wrong with me, he gave me a letter of referral to General hospital. I went to the General hospital, no solution too. The doctor said I need to control my mind. And take back the saliva whenever it’s gathering in my mouth, trust me I do it always but the saliva will keep coming back until I spit it out. In less than 10 mins another will come. I’m tired, I’m literally tired. Please help. If you have seen someone who had the same problem and has been healed now please kindly refer me to the person. I seriously need help. Thank you. Mod please take this to the front-page. Thank you.

Politics / My Experience With UBA Part 2 (must Read!!!) by desperatem(m): 10:48pm On Nov 04, 2015 |
Wow! everything happened so fast. Incase you missed the previous thread. here is the link to it. https://www.nairaland.com/2707617/experience-uba-bank-must-read. Here is the new development. I got a call from UBA headoffice. They explain what the customer care guy at my Branch failed to make clear to me. They said because the transaction was carried out on Access Bank ATM, that is why it took some weeks for them to get the transaction details, secondly First Bank is not working with them, First Bank said the only help they can offer is wait till the suspect comes to the Bank to do any transaction on his account, that is when he would be arrested. The issue is kind of complicated because the ATM is very close to my house and I use the ATM almost everyday, I even used the ATM on the said date when the unauthorized transfer was done. Yesterday evening, I got a call from UBA head office that Access Bank has sent in the footage that I should come and check it today, When I got to my branch today, I viewed the footage on the BOM computer and it was my pictures. This really make things so complicated and I the best bet for me now is to get the beneficiary arrested, with this the matter would be open and all hidden things would be let out. UBA headoffice really tried and I appreciate their calls from time to time. I have never experienced any issue with them since I started banking with them that is why I got mad at them for treating the unauthorized transfer issue lightly. At the end of the day, I got to know that they were waiting on Access Bank to get them the footage and First Bank to provide their customer. First Bank is shielding their customer, UBA has done their part (I am really Impressed), Access Bank did their's, now my fate lies on FIRST BANK NIGERIA. Fellow Nairalanders, please throw in your suggestions. I will keep updating the house as things unfold. P.S: My accounts with UBA is still active, I will start moving my money bank into the account. I think my money is safe with them and my investment is safe with them too. CC: lalasticlala |

Imagine, I received debit alert of NGN 630 twice and they claimed its for Cashless something. Only God knows what the heck is the Cashless thing. lawrenceunaa: I cant do that, you know its against the ethics of bank to reveal account information of another customer to anyone. I was privileged to check the account information of the fraudster because I have friends in First Bank. I don't want to do what would cost them their job. CC: lalasticlala. Please push this to the front-page. Nigerians needs to be aware of this scam! 1 Like |
Business / My Experience With UBA Bank. (must Read!!!!!!!) by desperatem(m): 11:14am On Nov 02, 2015 |
I will try to make this story short. I started banking with UBA early last year. Apart from outrageous tranSfer charges, postage stamp charges and very slow service I think its a good bank. I have never had issues of unauthorized withdrawal in my account until August 2015. An unauthorized ATM transfer was carried out in my account on August 8 2015 twice and UBA did not send me any alert for the 2 transactions. The first transaction was NGN 180,000 and the second was NGN 30,000. I got to know about the unauthorized transaction about 1 month few weeks later when I traveled out of Nija. A customer deposited some money in my account, so when I received the alert (My MTN number was Roamed for alert purpose) I knew instantly that about NGN 200,000 plus to NGN 300,00 was missing in my account. I can't wait to get back home to confirm it. Because of this, I came back to Nigeria Ealier than planned (My arrival date was scheduled for 15th November 2015). When I got back to Nigeria, I visted my branch and I requested for my account statement, I got back home and was going through the account statement that was when I came across the transactions, I reported immediately to my Branch and I was asked to write a letter which I did. My account officer said maybe someone I know used my ATM card to do the ATM transfer but I told her its not someone I know and my ATM was not used for the transaction because I live alone, none of my friends or GF visited me during that period because I was busy planning my traveling and my ATM card is always in my wallet and my wallet is always on me. In the letter I wrote, I requested for the footage of whoever did the transaction and the account information of the beneficiary. A couple of weeks later, I go a call that they have concluded the investigation. They were able to get the beneficiary account information but they said no footage was sent along. It was a First bank account so they couldn't view the the account holder's information except the name and account number that was sent from First Bank head office. Since UBA got that information, they stopped working on getting to the bottom of the matter. They said they can't work in hand with First Bank to apprehend the suspect. They said they are waiting for the day the suspect will come and do any transaction on his account even if it's 2050. I got tired of waiting and I visited a friend who is working in First Bank last week, He checked the suspect's acount details for me because I collected the account number from UBA customer care. When my friend checked, he showed me his picture, I swear I have never seen the guy in my life. He went through his transactions as at October, we discovered that the guy withdraw all the money immediately he finished the fraud and he has less than NGN 1,500 in his account. After that revelation, I visited my UBA branch and I narrated everything to then, now they take me serious a bit but they later said "still there is nothing we can do" after then, I withdraw all my money from the account and I deposited it to my other bank account with another bank. I am going there today to withdraw the rest of my money. UBA is not a customer's bank. Its very useless bank and if you keep your life savings with them you might end up having a HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. I just shared my experience with UBA with my fellow nairalanders so you can all be wary of UBA. If you have an account with them, you better take all your money from there to avoid story that touches. Your comments/contributions and better and quicker way to go about this is highly welcomed. Thanks for reading. I hope you learn a thing or two? If anyone experienced ATM fraud before please share your experience with us. SAFE. 100 Likes 13 Shares |

I think buying stuffs from a reputable company like Jumia and co is safer and advisable. The Jumia delevery man who came to retrieve the AC from me told me that Jumia buy in large quantities from manufacturer hence the better chance of getting a replacement if there is any issue with item bought from them. Unlike normal retail shops who buys 2-5 types of a particular model of electronic. If anything goes wrong, you wont have the privilege of choosing the particular model of your choice. You have to choose from other models they have because they dont offer refund like Jumia and co. Jumia has replaced my AC with the exact model i first bought. The AC man is here installing it now. I hope this works fine, though the indoor unit pack has a stamp that says "PASSED". Thank y'all for reading and contributing. One love. |
